The dakka Stewart is of course overpowered on the tabletop, which is why they are so popular. But the fixed forward “sponson” machine guns were difficult to aim in reality, which is another reason, besides crew stowage, that they were quickly done away with, and the ports welded over in subsequent variations. I think a nice fix for this unit in Bolt Action would be for the fixed forward facing MMGs to be minus 1 to hit. But I’m just a rivet counting long-bearded Grognard.
Still good, just balanced better.
Love the Stuart - not only does it have a good place on the table, but as a Minor Nation player, I appreciate when opponents run lighter tanks so that there's a reasonable chance that our lighter AT options can do something during the game. Good all around for everyone playing the game
The Stuart was the first tank I ever built for any wargame. She's beautiful. The machine gun boat works wonderfully for my personal doctrine of "Screw enemy tanks, what'll my opponent do when I kill every single infantry squad?" and I've done some real work with the light AT gun too. In recent months I've been playing with a howitzer Matilda, but I'm considering taking the standard Stuart with just the turret and one hull mounted MMG to my next tournament.
If I ever start an allied army it would definitely be USA solely because the Stuart painted up in US Army Green is such a sexy beast.
Yes! Thank you for giving some love to the light tanks!
Leaving actual knowledge on it out of last response , it’s cool little tank. In game I have no idea how it does. In games it was great in the pacific theater in its later variants. Though not sure if that was because the IJA tanks languished later in the war.
Love the Stuart Mordian. But, we still need the video on the best Boat tank Type 3 Ka-Chi.
Dakka Stuart is king!
Take 5 in an Armoured company and blow everything away!
I played the original 5 MMG Stuart....
Great tank. The flame 🔥 thrower is my most favourite. ❤️ because it will burn up anything on the battlefield and your opponent will be afraid of it 😂❤
It’s ironic that the M5 is more expensive than the M3a3, since IRL the M5a1 was significantly cheaper, as the main difference between the two was replacing the M3’s expensive airplane engine with two modified car engines.
Can’t wait until you cover Italian tanks. L33 supremacy
The flamethrower L33 is such a meme but I love it. It's low profile let's it sneak around without getting sniped from across the board by enemy tanks.
M5 Stuart best M8 Stuart is interesting
BANZAI !!!
