wasn't expecting Noah to pull off the gold, huge respect to him. personalities like him are VERY good for the sport imo, I'm glad to see him succeeding so much & hope he can achieve the double 🥇

Credit to Sani Brown for making the final. Did anyone see that coming? And for finishing sixth.

I mean let's be fair about the 9.65 and 19.10. He didn't specifically say he'd do it in Budapest.

I'm not the biggest Noah fan but it would be so dope to see him do the triple (100m, 200m 4x100m). He'd be the first person do that since Bolt in 16 and first American to do it since Tyson Gay in 07. It would be a huge achievement.

If Jacobs wants to continue, he needs to take a "real" break from competition. That means no meets until your body is 110% healed. Take a break for your body and mind to recover. Then train your body for competition. Competing while hurt will not win.

I'm more intrigued by what this means for the 200 in a few days. Do you think he's breaking the record? How fast will Tebogo go? Can Knighton medal???

Lyles manages to psych his competitors out, and maintain a sense of fun. Several of them could easily have been running sub-9.80.

you must be silly if you think lyles is gonna run sub 10 for first 100m split in the 200m

After the semi's, it was obvious for me lyles would win... In the heats and semi's, he did not look that good... running through the line in 9.95 is not a sign you will run 9.83 in the finals. Huge probs to tebogo and hughes, big fan!!

Coleman is who he is, elite starter but doesnt have the top end speed. That start is good enough to take him to endless finals and low medal placings but is who he is. Unless the field fucks it he aint winning.
Jacobs wouldnt be a winner to me. He continued ot be disapointing, cant even get under 10 seconds aone season wonder.
I would be tempted to put hughes as a loser as well, great to medal, and noah showed out, but this was likely hughes best chance to gold aftera break out year.
Tebogo is a winner, kid showed out and excited for him next season. Think a olympic gold is on the horizon if he keeps progressing.
