The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
I get that this game is for a certain audience and that said audience will almost certainly love it - but maybe this could have just been a movie? I'm not saying this to disparage the (very excellently made) experience - just wondering what the value of "not playing but experiencing it" is compared to what movies can do with much better pacing.
I enjoy variety, I hate for all games to look and act the same, even game types I enjoy. It's like eating steak everyday, I love it but like variety even more. I also hate games that you have to contently be pressing keys non stop for hours on end, every now and then I like to slow the pace down to relax along side of the games slower pacing to give my hands a rest while still enjoying the game unfolding before me to feel totally submersed like being in a movie.
Well said!
Then watch a fucking movie.
@@johngrey9415 Watch a movie, play a game or something in between (lol, get it?) Do whatever you want. Just relax... it's all good.
Amazing game. It's actually more than a game, it's an experience. I actually loved the combat, story telling, and incredible visuals and animation. This game makes God of War and Horizon FW look like cartoons. It will probably come to PS5 but I don't think PS loyalists will be very happy when an Xbox game ends up being the best looking game on their PS5.
steam does moderate and hide certain reviews especially when a major game has a series of negative review, whether they are actual or review bomb.
So steam "overall" review isn't reliable anymore.
Game journals are a joke too.
Best bet is stick to big youtubers who judgement you trust or at least have the same taste in games.
You need a good graphics card to enjoy this game, looks like to me. I like shorter games with great graphics, like Calisto Protocol. I will get this game because of your reviw.
I have an RTX 2070 Super with a Ryzen 7 and it ran great for me.
Nice movie
If it's not a game, then I don't want it. I play videogames to...play games.
This is such a silly talking point (not you, the "it's not a game" talking point in general). Of course it's a game. I finished it a little while ago and I loved it. People complain that all games are samey and then when something different comes along they complain that it's different.
That was exactly my point in the video.
I'm not sure how you managed to fill 7 minutes by saying "Senua's Saga is not a game, it's a CGI movie." That's kind of the problem. It's being sold on a video game storefront and marketed to a video game audience. If this were being sold on Netflix, there wouldn't be much of an issue.
Well, if you listened to the whole video, you would know how I managed to fill 7 mins with that topic. 😉
@@NEON-Jai I did, but I watched it as a game review. I suppose watching it as a movie review, it makes a little more sense.
They should have released a movie then
Well, something can be a bit of both. There's definitely an audience for it.
Don't buy this, trust me. Save your 50 bucks on more value quality experiences (movie, concert or another game, but a real game!). Watching a complete walkthrough on YT is almost indistinguishable from "playing" it.
Well, it's available on Game Pass and you can just try it for 2 weeks at $1. 👍
Gamepass bro. It exists on both console and pc
So gay its not on PS5. I hate MS/Xbox.
LOL, your comment took me by surprise. Was not expecting those words together. 🤣🤣
But yeah, I hate it when games are exclusive to only one platform.
@@NEON-Jai lol. Me too! There are more PS5 owners than Xbox s/x owners. You'd think they'd want it on everything to maximize the reaching of gamers.
Didn't know that people from 2010 were able to comment on videos years before they came out
Homophobic speach.
Most PS exclusives are not on XBox either, the problem is exclusivity barring players, not specific companies.
