NGDB's "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" has almost every country legend in it...hard to beat that!
"Will the Circle Be Unbroken" by these guys is SPECIAL! Soooo many country legends sing with them. You would love it! 💗💗💗💗💗

Even after all these years…every DJ at a Country bar or concert knows that they can play this song and get the whole crowd going…many bands do covers of it during their show sets…everyone knows the words.
One of the most underrated bands in my honest opinion.

This band has a good number of happy feeling songs. A couple more of their songs I'm pretty sure you would like are "Mister Bojangles ' and "Dance Little Jean".

Two-Stepping, line dancing and so many memories of a bar called Cadillac Jacks associated with this song and yes late 80”s so many good songs by the NGDB - Partners, Brothers and Friends, Dance Little Jean, Sharecroppers Dream, Face on the Cutting Room Floor, and of course Mr. Bojangles ! Enjoy!
I seen these guys in concert probably 10 years ago. They were alot older still a great song.

This is country gold. I don’t think there’s ever been another song referenced as much in other music. Just start listening for the “fishin’ in the dark” lyric. And we all know it’s because it’s not ‘fishin’ they’re talking about! You’ll be surprised. 😊♥️
It's a walk down memory lane again!
I grew up a Dirt Band fan. One of their more known and often covered songs is The Broken Road (which was done by The Rascal Flatts). If you see the video from Home Free's version of it, they do some visual nods to the Dirt Band album covers.

Fantastic performance. This has a similar theme as "Picking Wildflowers", though more subtle. But even "Picking Wildflowers" is subtle compared to the explicit lyrics that make it so obvious, even young children could figure out what they are talking about.

You are right, sir. This is THE iconic NGDB song. Still played on country radio very, very frequently. I was lucky enough to see these guys in concert in the mid 80s and they were fsntastic. I don't think there are any bad NGDB songs. I would echo the requests for Will The Circle Be Unbroken (watch the video with all of the country stars in it), but my 2 personal favorites of them are Dance Little Jean and Long Hard Road.

I'm only 27 and it's funny how old i feel since i grew up with this song i love this song so much

Jimmy Ibbotson (IbbY) is a great vocalist in his style and a great songwriter.
He lived in a community near John Denver in Colorado and the band and John were friends.
They had such a unique sound but Ibby left the group a few years back and they will never be the same. All of them in their 70's now.

My favorite of their songs is "Catfish John" with Alison Krauss. Their harmonies are absolutely amazing! Great story song too!💗💗💗
Never heard a live version of this. I like the arpeggios.
Look closely and you will see Bernie Leadon on guitar. NGDB made the Southern California Rock/Country sound and have never been recognized for it. So many great albums and artists who have been a part of their legacy.

This is an early, edgier version I've not heard before, Thanks!!! This is a great band with way too many awesome hits to mention. Love the Circle albums, and many live show videos are out there. Catfish John is so pleasant with Alison K joining in. The live versions of Partners, Brothers, Friends make it clear how many decades this band played together!!!

Your volume was not working while you were talking it was working for the band playing but not while you were talking
it's true ... past couple weeks ... the video volume is good but when U stop to give your analysis the volume drops to just barely audible - but when you go back to the video the volume resumes to normal level ! ... but keep up the good work, I'm sure that it will work out ! 🙂
They didn't do the ending of the song, like it was recorded in the studio, which is unfortunate.
