I absolutely enjoyed this. We can grow through trauma and I’m glad Dr. Jennifer elicited this from Abraham’s early life following God but encountering apparent difficulties with that first famine. Rousing applause for the her days on OT with DA 👏👏 God bless you both and your families.
Love this study! It's really growing my faith! I'm also now among the .3%. My husband of 27 years died in August and we had planned to do all this adventuring together. I absolutely know God has a plan for my life and he will show me at the correct time what that is! God Bless you and your ministries!
Test was my word. Simply because the concept that the trials we experience are not punishments or wrong turns but rather events to refine your character and strengthen you trust and relationship with God.
Thanks for talking about post traumatic growth. I went through this when I lost my firstborn child. Me and my husband experienced this growth even though it was very hard.
I am loving this programme O T with DA very informative I'm a week behind but utube is valuable .I am a West Aussie from Donnybrook . (South of Perth ) .i'm planning to listen to.DA with DA after this programme 🙏🙏🙏 for you and your team .💃
My promise was Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Post traumatic growth reminds of where EGW says that David became closer and dearer to God's heart and closer to him after going through the troubles with Absalom, fleeing his own palace, etc. He didn't let trauma get him down.
An off question, but what Bible do you use? Not what version but what publisher? I’m sure it’s likely a NKJV because of the SOP set that your reading. I find that getting a solid Bible is getting to be a challenging thing to do.
i wonder how much influence Abraham might have had on the Pharaoh had he not deceived him about his wife. the Pharaoh seemed almost receptive of the 1 true God, He certainly acknowledged his existence.
This is 2 years later so maybe you already figured this out but, just in case, when you have the phone in do not disturb it helps but if the same person calls right after calling the first time (as in back to back) then the call pass through. So it helps a little, but it’s not 100% calls proof.
How do we reconcile trauma children experience with teaching children that God is love. What's so evident that trauma isn't getting attention until the child is 25 30 45.... Where can we add an understanding of God's love while children are experiencing trauma
I am not sure about your 97 percent marriage stat because fifty percent even in the Christian church end in divorce. Ellen White does not give a stat not that. Marriage is good if... It takes maturity, patience, unselfishness, humility, humor and commitment to make a good marriage. Not many people have all those traits even in the church.
Blessed by this 🙌🏾. Having Violetta would be great! Thanx DA and Dr Jen 🙏🏾
Thank you Lord, for this chapter. I am blessed.
The post-traumatic growth part, so good. Thanks, Dr. Jennifer Schwirzer!

I'm one of the .3%: not married (twice divorced), no children, & no desire to have any children. But I'm very motherly to my kitties. 😻🥰

Hi Pastor David! Try the "airplane mode" and then turn the WiFi on (so people couldn't call you while you're on Instagram live)
:))))
People on your favorites still gets through when you’re on “Do not disturb”

Because someone has taken your past, don't them take your future.
Uprooted and sold all and moved to Malawi to serve the Lord until death do us part! Wasn’t easy for us or Moses!

Fred Bischoff, the humblest man I ever knew
wanted to be called FRED, even though he was a physician.
After 90 years of marriage he was still going to give her up to Abimelech. :(
