    Great video, have you ever tried “ Tex-pose” your bait when using a Texas rig, maybe a bigger hook and an EWG hook and put a bobber stop ahead of the weights , try a bullet weight saves on snags when weight is under control when I’m walking with my rods with rod but in front and rod tips pointing back, saves breaking the rod tip just saying.

    I used to fish 10 mile point yrs. ago...my buddy got a 35+ lb Spring on an Easter Sunday...on a pink pearl Buzz Bomb 😊😊😊

    You can catch salmon and halibut from that spot in the summer time . Ocean bed drops off to 150 foot in some parts . I've personally limited out on salmon many years from that spot 👍

      A little late to the party but if the original comment was in regards to ten mile point then it’s just the other side of oak bay and uplands. Most southern point in Saanich.

    I caught 19 incher were you caught the last one it seems to be really good during the late October I’m pretty sure that’s when they breed

      They breed in January and February.... Don't get caught fishing for them during that time. Big time No No

      can catch salmon there if you have a super far cast, I see guys there casting crazy far, I cant cast that far. Bigger lead jig

    I think the eggs of the cabezon are the only poisonous parts, I think....

      Your supposed to only eat from the arsehole back, just the tail section. That's what I've been told and I've never gotten sick from it

    Good catch. But your reel is too noisy. Better have that checked or replace. Also your rod's ring need to be replaced.
