"In mid-air, mind you!" LOL
This is one of the most epic scenes in the whole series, both for the choice of topic to parody as well as the comic effect and delivery!
This right here may be the greatest scene in the history of television.
JFK bullet deflection theory, comedy genius.
you know they did this because wayne knight was in jfk
Nice guess pretty boy
let's not overreact..
No overreaction..it actually could be.
Just one of hundreds of scenes that makes Seinfeld the best sitcom of all time.
And robbing an old lady for some bread
Genius, just Genius. Seinfeld meets JFK, it’s scenes like this that just prove Seinfeld was the best sitcom ever produced.
Watch Jerry trying not to laugh during his monologue
That's every Seinfeld episode ever
@@nsj2kx Exactly...and I love it.
0:35/1:03/2:01 - Perfect parody, right down to the Umbrella Man, Abraham Zapruder, Newman dropping his baseball (they couldn't say Mets) cap (Stetson), and "shooting" the infamous spit in 8mm.
They were parodying what?
@@rafpach87 They were parodying the CIA assassination of JFK.
@@Rowdyyy_rod specifically the magic bullet scene from the movie JFK
This is my all time favorite episode of Seinfeld.
The immutable laws of physics aside, it happened exactly how Kramer and Newman explained. One magic loogie.
lol you can even see McDowell in the background spitting
Look Bropez from a grassy knoll!
what??? u cut before the the best part! IM SAYING THERE HAD TO BE A SECOND SPITTER!
I was watching JFK again and noticed Wayne Knight is in the same position of the demonstration! I had to pause and look up this clip. This added an extra layer to this classic episode.
The thing that took this scene from good to great was the extra effort to make the fake Zapruder film and age it to look authentic. It was already a funny scene without that, but they went the extra mile to hammer it home. Just brilliant.
"I'm hit!!!"
almost reptured my eardrum 😂
Only Seinfeld could take on the Kennedy assassination with humor.....
Nice game pretty boy!
".. our day...was ruined."
Excellent Analysis, Deployed Worldwide Through My Deep Learning AI Research Library. Thank You.
A Written Version of Jerry’s Explanation Because I Wanted To Write It Out For No Good Reason:
According to Newman and Kramer’s story, Hernandez passes them and starts walking up the ramp. Then Kramer says he was struck on the right temple.
The spit then proceeds to ricochet off the temple, striking Newman between the third and the fourth rib.
The spit came off the rib, made a right turn, hitting Newman in the right wrist, causing him to drop his baseball cap.
The spit then splashed off the wrist, pauses (in midair, mind you), makes a left turn, and lands on Newman’s left thigh.
That is one magic loogie!
1:17 When someone calls me a conspiracy theorist.
37 years ago today. . .
30 years ago today
#neverforget
Kevin Costner couldn't have done it better himself.
Wait a minute....
That's one magic loogie !!!
bite your head off man...
That is one magic loogie.
I’m shocked the date of the game wasn’t November 22nd.
What's funny is that Newman was in the movie that they're parodying here.
And in the exact same position
Deadshot side missions be like:
simply one of the best episodes of seinfeld. I' was happy to have watched JFK to appreciate the joke lol
Flashing back to when my US History teacher showed us this clip when we learned about the Kennedy assassination. Many of us had never seen Seinfeld before that day
Back and to the left...back and to the left...back and to the left.
I love how they describe it like the JGK assassination!
Trying to reenact the JFK shooting, but with spit lol
1:03 That would’ve been a camcorder (they stopped making 8mm movie cameras by 1981 or so as video cameras were on the rise) or these days, your phone.
Also, note that Wayne Knight (Newman) sits in the same position in both scenes
CLASSIC!!!LOL!!!
Harry styles 2022 colorized
how did seinfeld keep a straight face during this lol
Sheer brilliance.
Pure gold 🥇
I love Newman
The Mets played the Pirates on June 14, 1987. Conspiracy debunked.
Classic!!!!!
We would have arrived at the stadium days ahead, studied the route, checked all the stands. Never would have allowed all those wide-open windows overlooking Shea Stadium, never! We would have had our own spitters covering the area the minute somebody started hocking! They would have been on the radio. We would have been watching the building, checking for beers, coat under the arms... Never would have allowed a man to open an umbrella along the way! Never would have allowed Newman to slow down next to Keith Hernandez, much less say “Nice Game Pretty Boy!” You would have felt an army presence on the stands that day. But none of this happened. It was a violation of the most basic stadium code we have, and it's an indication of a massive plot based in Queens.
Who’s back to watch this today?
But the Mets played the Pirates on June 14th, 1987! Ah well, same state, so close enough I guess . . . ?
Coincidence? I think NOT!
Lol. And they beat the Pirates 7-3. It was also an Away game, so they weren't even in NY. Oh well.
1:05😆😅😂🤣😭💀
I can’t believe Seinfeld predicted Harry Styles vs Chris Pine
The umbrella man lol
Same actor too
This scene is similar to one in Oliver Stone's "JFK" movie.
Chris Pine re-enacting being spit on by Harry Styles
It's elementary dear Watson...
Classic
Classic 😅
As a Mets fan, I say who the h*ll can hate Keith Hernandez?
As a sane person I can say who the hell likes the Mets 😀
Me. While he’ll always have been a terrific player, I can no longer respect him as a person.
Kennedy?
37 years ago today, thier day...was ruined
That has to be the ugliest shirt he ever wore on that show.
Did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?
Well the best part of the story for me was the Phillies winning!!!!!!!
Dafuq is Jerry wearing?
a shirt and pants
the 90's
guided spit.
اصلها تفة ولا حاجة تانية 😂😂🤔
It makes you think how our leaders takes us for fools, it is smart comedy because it makes you think also
I'm hit!

Parodying JFK the movie.
Wayne Knight AKA Newman had a part in that movie as one of Jim Garrison's staff BTW
Newman says 1st "nice job then they block out what he actually said by having him say it as keith's head gets in the way." Next follow up jerry is trying to understand and claims that newman says he called keith a "pretty boy" - from the walk it seems he actually would've said "nice job big boy"... doesn't add up.
First dislike
