This set of polishes are great imo. They feel demure enough to be work appropriate while still looking unique and fun. I bought Lavish Lilac, The Queens Velvet, and Silk Is... I'm debating buying Triple Thread and Glos-sea.
I know I'm a little late to the game because you reviewed these a while ago, but I did purchase spill the velvet tea because it just looks so beautiful!! And I'm finally getting around to painting my nails with it! LOL I love that faint shimmer😍.
ooh lavish lilac looks like sea glass. Silk is... very lovely. I am a werido and like seeing brush strokes (as long as it's not patchy). It reminds me of flowing water.
I only grabbed the magenta one when this collection first came out. I agree about wearing these matte. I may have to grab that shimmery grey, that's unique.
I like this set! Sally Hansen seems to be making an effort, especially with that last antique white one! Re: you said you don't have a problem with brush strokes showing, I just watched km's video today- she said the exact same thing & that they lengthen the look of your nails. Never thought about it that way!😅 I'll take skinnier looking fingers any time, lol.
Ohhh these so pretty. I especially love the gray and the white one. I really love brush strokes! I do not like matte, so I would definitely use a shiny top coat, but that's just my preference. Beautiful swatches!

Thought they were pretty. I always wonder though how well a manicure is if you don’t use a top coat on a matte finish? Is it better to put a matte top coat on or do you leave it without?
I usually like to add my favorite top coat, then one more coat of the matte or textured polish - get the protection of top coat and the finish from the bottle!
I like the Instadry line in general and they do their mattes really nice, they have a slight sheen instead of being completely flat. I would buy the pale pink, the Royal pink one, grey and the last pearl with the gold shimmer, I hope we get this line in Australia. Thanks Janixa, your nails look beautiful x

I got the lavender one not realizing it dries matte. Didn’t like it at all even after putting on my super glossy top coat. There is something about the formula , I don’t like how it feels on my nails. I wish I watched your video first..

I’m old school. I liked Triple Thread and Silk is. I prefer pearlized/ frosty finishes over matte finishes. Thanks for swatching this collection 😊💖

The Queen’s Velvet dried instantly. When I applied a second coat of the polish it was opaque.
