I have been going through a very rough patch of mental health lately. I have been watching the whole time, just never had the urge to comment. I lost interest in Schleich entirely. But seeing your customs lately has made he actually inspired to get back into it. Keep up the great painting! ❤ Edit to add that we need more Nova Scotia love! Very underrated breed. I always wanted to take the Papo Aussie and make it into a Nova but I am not the best at painting so I don’t think it’s turn out well lol. Also I would buy that basenji in a heartbeat. I’ll be watching for it:)
Awww get better soon and I’ve been collecting since 2020 i’m pretty sure I first got my realistic animals at Christmas They were lions and then I started to collect the wolves a while ago probably like about 2/1 years ago and it hasn’t been a regret. They all are amazing toys, again please get better soon love c0dy

I’m so sorry to hear that but I’m glad that you’re feeling better. And happy that my customs could help with that. They’ve been bringing me joy lately as well and just makes me happy that other people enjoy them. And yes we do need more Nova Scotia love they are so beautiful! I am gonna have all the underrated breeds as customs 🥰. I’m sure you would do amazing on it if you gave it a shot. Perhaps it could be a practice custom. One that you redo every year and then you have several Nova Scotias in different skill sets XD. Idk just a thought. And I do plan on selling the basenji but I’ve been holding onto it for a bit XD. To be honest, I’m scared to do customs with my realistic animals they’re super Duper realistic, and I don’t wanna ruin them, but if I ever get a double I might do my first custom got any tips??
The best advice I can give is don’t be discouraged if they don’t come out the way you want the first time. It’s okay, just try again. And reference photos help a a lot as well (whether it be google photos or you draw it out) go slow and make sure the paint is fully dry before you add more.
@@Xxc0dywcuezxX I’m not the best customizer so I tried my best! These are just from my experiences because if you’re like me you might get frustrated if it doesn’t come out the way you want first try. But that happens to everyone who customizes figures.
I’m so sorry I didn’t see this. I definitely recommend getting doubles of ones you already own to paint. It makes it easier to “mess them up”. Make sure you have good lighting. I use lamps I got at dollar tree they were literally a dollar and I’ve had them for years now. The better your lighting is the easier it is to see how many more costs you’ll need or if you’ve messed up. If you feel like the base coat is finished add one more thin coat to make sure. I know it’s annoying to wait but let each layer completely dry before you continue with the next. Unless you’re blending. I recommend searching for tutorials (I have one and also some old customizing videos and some of my schleichtuber friends have tutorials too) use references like Mads said and I’d try doing a simple one first. Maybe a Doberman or something with a similar coat. Blue Merle coats are easy and you can be so creative with them as well. I’m sorry I’m not a teacher I have no idea what else to say 😭. Don’t give up though. Your first custom might not be perfect, but you’re gonna watch each one get better and better over time. Just look at my old customs verses now XD
@@MaddoxEzmanamazing advice. I’ve made two Dutch shepherd customs and I hate them both 😭😭😭. But I’m gonna keep making them because eventually I’ll end up with one I like

Heelers are cute I'm making a gray heeler custom mixed with a husky I'm going to use black white and gray using the safari ltd husky
