I have been going through a very rough patch of mental health lately. I have been watching the whole time, just never had the urge to comment. I lost interest in Schleich entirely. But seeing your customs lately has made he actually inspired to get back into it. Keep up the great painting! ❤ Edit to add that we need more Nova Scotia love! Very underrated breed. I always wanted to take the Papo Aussie and make it into a Nova but I am not the best at painting so I don’t think it’s turn out well lol. Also I would buy that basenji in a heartbeat. I’ll be watching for it:)
Awww get better soon and I’ve been collecting since 2020 i’m pretty sure I first got my realistic animals at Christmas They were lions and then I started to collect the wolves a while ago probably like about 2/1 years ago and it hasn’t been a regret. They all are amazing toys, again please get better soon love c0dy
@@Americancatmare I’m just trying to get myself together now day by day. But it means a lot to me that you commented. I started collecting back in 2012 and although I just went a while without collecting. I don’t think I could ever stop entirely. Happy collecting! :)
I’m so sorry to hear that but I’m glad that you’re feeling better. And happy that my customs could help with that. They’ve been bringing me joy lately as well and just makes me happy that other people enjoy them. And yes we do need more Nova Scotia love they are so beautiful! I am gonna have all the underrated breeds as customs 🥰. I’m sure you would do amazing on it if you gave it a shot. Perhaps it could be a practice custom. One that you redo every year and then you have several Nova Scotias in different skill sets XD. Idk just a thought. And I do plan on selling the basenji but I’ve been holding onto it for a bit XD. I’ll let you know when it’s available. Again happy to see you back in my comment section it has been awhile.

To be honest, I’m scared to do customs with my realistic animals they’re super Duper realistic, and I don’t wanna ruin them, but if I ever get a double I might do my first custom got any tips??
The best advice I can give is don’t be discouraged if they don’t come out the way you want the first time. It’s okay, just try again. And reference photos help a a lot as well (whether it be google photos or you draw it out) go slow and make sure the paint is fully dry before you add more.

@@Americancatmare I’m not the best customizer so I tried my best! These are just from my experiences because if you’re like me you might get frustrated if it doesn’t come out the way you want first try. But that happens to everyone who customizes figures.

@@aiden9345 oooo yes I do! I love that model XD. I used to have a custom of it that was black but the front legs had white “boots” and the snoot was white. Also the inside of the ears. You could use that if you’d like. Or a chestnut brown color, with light gray, and cream color would look nice with any design I think. Also gray, white and black you can’t really go wrong there it’s the basic color palette XD. Or just all white and lilac eyes 😱that would be cute. Tan, black, gray also white and tan with a pinkish brown nose. I hope these help. If not feel free to ask more

@@aiden9345 I think I gottu. When I want to paint one without keeping an original of it I like to go on Amazon and get fakes. There are several sets that have fake versions of schleich and other brands and they are perfect if you just want to customize them. I also recommend finding ones on Temu cause they are all fake from what I’ve seen

I'm making a zombie wolf series any tips
@@aiden9345 I have an old, unfinished series called “The Spread” on my page somewhere and you can totally take some pointers from it! I also have a few tips assuming you’re just starting out… 1. For close ups, Don’t hold the camera up close to the figure, instead set it up behind the figure and use the zoom to get closer. 2. Make a script before filming, the series I started isn’t finished because I didn’t plan out the whole series beforehand, 3. Use and editing app, it doesn’t have to be a pricey app, I use power director for free (it has tutorials on the app they are very helpful) 4. Instead of using the sound from the footage mute it on your editor and voiceover the audio in a quiet space. It’ll help with the background noise but isn’t necessary. 5. Don’t rush, it is a lengthy process but if you want to make a good series it’s important not to rush it

@@aiden9345 ah in that case i recommend searching zombie references to look at. And you can use clay to sculpt more detail. RUclips probably has some good tutorials. And there is fake blood on Amazon but if you use it on your customs or light colored figures don’t let it sit for too long cause sometimes it stains. I’m not really good at zombie customs so I’m sorry I don’t really have a lot of tips
