You guys won't believe this, but when Jon Pardi was in highschool, he was looking to get a band together for the local fair. A group of dads got together and we practiced twice with him. This was the main song we practiced and I remember being so blown away at his voice and the way he sang this. I knew then he was special. Unfortunately, the other dads decided they were too busy. Jon ended up playing solo on a side stage, and the rest is history that's still being written. Jon wouldn't know me from Adam, but he still comes back and plays at highschool. My buddy's kid won his old fiddle that he donated for a local charity auction. Thank you for doing this song.
