It feels to me that what happened that night is often portrayed as a pretty little fairy tale; Dan and Victor do not leave that option open for us. Dan's vocals emphasize that it was the Lord of Heaven and Earth and Eternity born that night. "Let all within in us praise His Holy Name!" That's the way to sing "Christ is the Lord!" When Dan first uploaded it, RUclips thought it was the original from Iron Maiden, but Dan got it cleared up when it was, in fact, Victor playing ALL the guitars. Together, Dan and Victor make magic. I am always blown away by Dan's voice. He is one-in-a-million, and he's such a nice guy, from what I've seen of him NOT singing. It's incredible to hear him talk and act so sweet, and almost...adorable (?), and then on the mic, turn into an absolute beast. It reminds me of Troy Palomalu from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Super nice, soft-spoken guy off the field, but then he'll completely wreck you when he's in work-mode.
I've never been much of a Christmas tunes guy, but this song is fantastic.
