thought the movie was gonna be weird too. I was wrong...My parents and I loved it. Also checked the review and they were poor, but that shows that critics arent always right. and hearing LP at the credits made me love it even more.

When Abraham Lincoln's friend was still alive in the 21st century it made me feel similar to how the movie Gangs of New York ended. The places stayed the same but the humans of the time had all died and been replaced by new generations who were ignorant of the past. But still there remained a connection to the past - the graveyard in Gangs of New York and Henry in Vampire Hunter. The stories of each movie never ended, only the people changed, the story still goes on.

It makes more sense for the confederates to be vampires instead of Human beings wanting to enslave other human beings. In fact when I hear this song I think, "I'm so sad because Abraham Lincoln died after saving us all from vampire. What a hero and I am truly sadden by his death." Then I remember this was just a movie and then I think how powerful this movie made this seem like it could have been reality. "I LOVED THIS MOVIE TOO!" This song is too perfect for the tone of the movie and it is this song that carries the ending of the movie so well and encapsulates everything Abraham fought for.

But, my favorite part was the end, when they showed the "Abraham Lincoln Memorial" in Washington D.C. back in the day, and then showed what it looked like today with the Helicopter flying down into the scene, and the "Water Front Property." And then they showed the person with the iPhone 4 texting someone, I thought was pretty cool how they combined the two timelines together.
I remember watching this as a kid and with my friend and my brother made some smart ass comment it was hilarious but I didn’t get it until half way through the movie and they were just looking at me weird good times.
Just finished watching this amazing movie. I have my first KickBoxing fight coming up tomorow, and I don't know how but gave me a lot of confidence! If you haven't seen this movie yet, I really reccomend you do!

After translating and interpreting the lyrics - the meaning of the song "Powerless / powerless" tells the story of a man who feels disappointed and helpless because his girlfriend has betrayed him. In the early lyrics/verse 1 of the song, it is explained that his lover seems to be keeping a secret that is being covered up, until finally the man sees the truth for himself, like seeing a skeleton. Yes, her boyfriend kept making promises, but in fact her boyfriend lied and didn't open up to the man. Even though the evidence was there, (like evidence of splashing blood color in a murder case) so the man felt very betrayed.
I really thought this movie was going to be fucking stupid and poorly shoot, bad acting, bad story, ect. but it was pretty fucking kewl. Blew me right the hell away!
To be honest, I don't like vampire movies because they're way too bloody but I can honestly say that I liked this movie probably because of the history in it!
