Journey to Doolin Co. Clare on the West coast of Ireland for a behind the scenes glimpse into one of the most iconic Traditional Irish music festivals in the calendar, The Russell Weekend.
For the past two decades, Kirsten Allstaff has been travelling to Doolin to enjoy the wonderful Irish traditional music that's played there. Last year she decided to document her experiences at the Russell festival Weekend, which is the video we have for you here. We were spoilt for choice back in the 70s with the Lisdoonvarna folk festival, tis well I remember the great Seamus Ennis taking to the stage..
