I haven't watched a video on this channel in months, but this is exactly the same tips as ever before! I got addicted to watching more and more videos without actually making my own videos, until I decided to stop watching and start doing. And that's when I got better. Stop with the warding addiction people, start creating. It will be bad at first but you'll get better and better. However watching endless videos will get you better at nothing except wasting your life!
As a beginner, I really got to learn a lot from this one video. It was precise yet extremely practical and informative. Keep bringing more of such practical tips and advanced tutorials as well. 🙂
Yess!! Was waiting for this one!! Great video Steve! You always come up with the best videos/tutorials! It is mind blowing how smartphones nowadays are leveling up and can work fine for beginner filmmakers. Thank you Steve!!
Nice! One thing to add: a good practice I - and you, actually - use, is that the either the camera or the subject moves. Both at the same time makes shots more messy. Static subject? Add interest by moving the camera. Moving subject? Keep the camera still and let the movement flow past it.
Thank you so much for these amazing videos Steve! I'm a complete amateur and everything I've learned has been from watching these informative uploads. My recordings still needs a lot of improvement so I keep coming back to watch and see where I went wrong and how I can improve. I don't edit anything, I just point, shoot and upload so I would appreciate a more in-depth editing video for beginners.
LOL, you are a professional and an expert at shooting AND editing videos. Sure you can "show" us how to do it, but to get to a point where my videos look even 10% as good as the one you just showed me would be a massive undertaking, and more than likely impossible for me. But, I sure like the work you do and info you provide.
Great video Steve, as always. I hope your iPhone wasn't too damaged. It was a nostalgic video for me as I spent a lot of the 80s around central London. Keep up the good work Steve. All the best, Andy.
Always love your videos Steve when it comes to filming on smart phone tutorials. I have learnt so much from you and you have helped my channel improve. I especially enjoy the transitions and it's something I will try to emulate in my content. Thanks for everything you do and the hard work and professionalism you clearly put into your channel.
Great!! Love this video, thank you!!😀❤ I so love how you show us on how to do it. Just the way you walk us through is amazing. I am addicted to your content. God Bless.
Thank you for this explanation. I am from Iraq and I have been following you since you created the channel. I hope that you will come in the future to Iraq and photograph the archaeological and religious places here. I will be at your service all the time.
Amazing content on all your videos. I have learnt so much. I even purchased a Hohem gimbal after watching your videos and it's been a great asset. Excellent channel, keep up the awesome work 👍
Just stumbled onto your channel thank you for giving so much value. I have been just filming for youtube not actually planning and using different techniques and my channel isn't growing as I was hoping the content would be good enough but the growth has slowed. Technology is daunting for me but you made it a lot easier to understand thank you.
This channel is so amazing, I am going to Greece this summer and I want to make a video and the channel has given me so many free tips, and I thought I took good videos and pictures but I was wrong 😂
Thank you so much for your valuable advice !! I'm a newbie in the scene of vlogging but your videos are simply awesome as they contain easy to learn information. Keep doing the incredible work coz we love it so much👍👍
We have been using all your tips as we capture our vacation footage in Scotland. I am looking forward to seeing what our final product looks like once we sit down to do the editing! Thank you for posting these videos!
Hi. Could you please list down a couple of videos/techniques you learnt on this channel that are a must watch esp for travel related content? Anything that you can recall at the moment. And maybe some other resources that you'd recommend to take my videos to a more advanced level overall.
Thanks for this and your other very informative, no nonsense tutorials. I'm not a 'bro, and that 'hey bro attitude seems to the vibe and style of many online teachers, who are mostly males, or so it seems. You're the best! But I"m sorry to say, on docs I've helped edit, we don't tend to use a lot of the sped up footage. Just a small bit if any - usually just one time lapse thrown in. I'm trying to shoot video now, not just edit it, so I'd love to see a tutorial on just gathering old-fashioned real time B roll. Please, bro!!!

Knowing how good the edits are, I wonder if a car actually honked a horn when the phone fell. Or, was it added in post? Either way, it worked.

Excelente edicition friend, good tip, thank you for sharing.
To my opinion SlowMo looks better and clean when shot in 4K 60p and slowed down by 50% on post, than shooting in slowMo direct from phone camera.
Flipping amazing Steve!!!
