  • Hey everyone! I'll update the description here in the next few days, but for some information about this video.
    I always wondered the differences between the different companies of bearings that are being sold. Either from the yoyo companies themselves or an outside source. Does one perform better than the other? In what way? There are expensive and cheap bearings, is there a big difference between them all.
    So this video shows the lineup of bearings that I have collected, accumulated and purchased that are most commonly used in modern unresponsive yoyoing.
    ALL these bearings are Size C
    So in theory, they're all suppose to be interchangeable amongst the different yoyos that use a Size C bearing.
    In this lineup we have the following brands (In no particular order):
    -YoYoFactory
    -Duncan
    -YopYo
    -AceYo
    -C3 Designs
    -Magic YoYo
    -Auldey
    -Zeekio
    -NSK
    -Magic YoYo (bearing pack)
    -$2 eBay yoyo
    -3 different mystery company bearings
    Don't forget to like, subscribe and comment!
    See you in the next video!

    Thanks for going through the trouble of comparing. I like those little jump cuts, too. You've got so many cool throws, but that Echo2 needs its own video eventually.

    Does someone know a Yoyo with a one way bearing? I play those Diabolos and looking for some kind of hybrid between both.

      I know exactly what you're talking about as I also have a diabolo that has a unidirectional bearing. I don't know she personally but around 20 years ago, I remember hearing that there was a mod that someone was able to have a yoyo use a unidirectional bearing. It's supposed to act like a unresponsive in one direction of throw and then it's a fixed axle when you throw it the other way.

      I looked through the footage and wasn't happy with it, so I'm trying to figure out how to make a good one. 🙂

      I didn't know yotricks has their own branded bearing. I'll definitely try to add that to the list

    Where can I buy a ceramic bearing?

    • @YAPYOYO
      @YAPYOYO  7 месяцев назад

      I personally don't know where to buy them as I've actually never bought them before. I would probably recommend searching for "size C (or whatever size you're looking for) ceramic yoyo bearing"

    Hello sir, Do you believe the H shape yoyo is more stable than V shape?

    • @YAPYOYO
      @YAPYOYO  2 года назад +2

      Hmm, so this is a really hard question to answer, but I'll try my best.
      First I would have to describe what I consider stable. For me to call a yoyo stable is the ability to resist the change of direction from it's axis. So a stable yoyo is suppose to continue spinning in the same direction with little to no change when it hits the string.
      I think V shaped would be a little bit more stable because it gradually distributes the weight during spin. I've also noticed that if there is more material in the central axis or in the inner cup area it offers more stable spin.
      But I don't think the biggest factor for stability is due to the shape. Shape tends to dictate how a yoyo will feel during play, like if it feels floaty or etc.
      I think it will be determined by the design of the inner cup area. The width of the yoyo can also affect the stability. And also we have to consider bi/tri material yoyos.
