@@mylarhyrule904 that's great! I actually began yoyoing 20+ years ago as well, during the late 90's yoyo rage. So I'm short, modern yoyos really pushed the envelope to tackle complex tricks that you set on RUclips today. I don't want to be redundant but modern yoyoing leans more on what they call "unresponsive" play due to the bearings used which is really wide and are intended to not come back to your hand with a tug like traditional yoyoing. Which is referred to "responsive" play. The shape of the imperial is primarily geared towards looping tricks like loop to loop, planet hops, hop the fence, etc. You're still able to do harder tricks like split the atom but it's much easier to do them in a butterfly due to the shape, or what they call "profile" nowadays. They refer to butterfly shapes as having a "wider catch zone". And even the butterfly shapes has all sorts of variation. Now if you're curious in trying a modern yoyo but still want to do classic tricks and maybe get into something more complex, I would suggest looking for a yoyo that is referred to as responsive. There are also several kinds that give you the option and tools to interchange them from responsive to unresponsive. A high suggested yoyo that I think everyone has including myself is the Magic yoyo K2 crystal, they're really cheap and can be found on yoyo sites as well as Amazon. Most of them comes as a kit to interchange between responsive and unresponsive. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂

@@jvnisperos2348 this is still considered a mono metal because the ring is made from the same material (aluminum) as the body. It still perform really well but definitely will feel different than a bimetal.

@@YAPYOYO Call it whatever, is way cooler than the actual trap door. How about, "saloon door"? or, "bank (revolving) door", or just "the washing machine". Is a really cool effect you do there and a tutorial is of the essence ;)

@@YAPYOYO Thanks for replying. Brand new pads and string, haven`t used the yoyo due to not being responsive at all. Will use it once i get into unresponsive and will insert the unresponsive bearing.

@@MyatThu-zukaro. Sorry for the late reply. I am taking care of a family emergency. This would have to be based on preference. So I like my yoyos to be a bit on the run weighted side, so my pick would be the shutter.

@@HotarusLens yeah, I was debating on getting the Orbital GTX 2.0 but I was "told" that is supposedly a refiner yoyo with a little bit less power than 1.0, and then I would hear the opposite about it. I'm sure I'll snag one soon.

@@MyatThu-zukaro. Unfortunately I don't own any yoyos from Joleshare. But after looking at the design I "may" like the X3 the most because I like the shape and how the design looks but I won't know how well it actually performs. Do you prefer a yoyo to be more room weighted? Or bouncy? Etc, everyone has different preferences. I hope this helps.

@@Crispy420One if you didn't plan on doing finger grinds, yeah the torque is a great overall yoyo. The shape is nice and has the ability to do a lot of traditional tricks like the UFO. I believe the yoyo comes with an unresponsive bearing so I'm not certain if a responsive bearing will fit.

@@xanax6741 I usually only leave it in there for 10-15 seconds, then I'll start shaking the bottle and use the plastic body of a pen and try to rotate the bearing while it's in the liquid. The whole cleaning process takes less than 5 minutes.

@@Genesis_Freedom oh, tough choice. I would say the V11 is a better all around choice. But I prefer the V12 because if it's slightly smaller size. 🙂

@@zhaneWTF so usually all yoyos that come right from the factory will be pretty tightly assembled together. I know it sounds cliche but one can only carefully take the yoyo apart. Any time it feels like you're forcing it, stop turning. Because plastic tends to crack due to this (or over tightening in general). Unfortunately if it spins continuously when you try to disassemble it, there's a high chance the shaft may have stripped from the body.

@@FebyKris_FPV so I had to rewatch the video. It's going to be hard to describe that motion because of the concepts involved. It incorporates a figure 8 and rail combo movement. I'll try to see it I can make a short with a different camera angle.

@@dariorodriguezdeamerica sorry for the late reply as I'm currently in vacation/holiday. The mojo definitely didn't have the same stability as the Silenus with the Silenus being more stable due to the center cup design. Finger spin cup yoyos tend to be not as stable but the designs have been improving to fix that by providing more mid body weight distribution. I think most companies won't disclose the weight distribution because I would assume that certain yoyos will sell out faster than others due to preference. @@xAUSTIN316x I haven't experienced this personally but from my research, you should be able to fit a D size bearing in a yoyo that came with a C.

@@xAUSTIN316x sorry, I had to double check and research a little more on D bearings. So I'll correct my last answer to your question. It doesn't look like D size bearing will fit in yoyos that come with a C size bearing. A D bearing won't make it play responsive, it's supposed to allow the yoyo to spin faster. To want your yoyo to play responsive, you'll need a size C "responsive" bearing which is half the width of an unresponsive, you'll also need to swap out the threaded axle for a shorter one. Also keep in mind that not all yoyos were designed to be able to interchange between the two bearings. The alternative (but not recommended) is to lube your unresponsive bearing. The reason why I wouldn't recommend that is you'll have to clean that bearing if you want to play unresponsive or purchase some extra bearings to interchange quickly. I hope this helps. 🙂

@@LukasFiala0 it's just ok on finger spins is you're experienced in it. It has a flat cup so finger spins tend to swirl. I hope this helps. 🙂

@@LukasFiala0 this yoyo sounds really well. Although it's bit as run heavy, it's a very balanced yoyo. I've been able to really get a 3-5 minute spin if I'm trying to do a long sleeper pretty easily.

@@NothingThere000 so I only own the responsive version which I was able to get it to spin around 15 seconds since the bearing is packed with lube. So it's a good practice yoyo to fine tube one's techniques. I have heard that there are unresponsive versions that will definitely spin longer.

I have a unresponsive k1 yoyo i can sure its has spin more than 2 minutes

Thanks a lot dude. Yeah, I've been trying to find any free time I have to practice. The R and C is to depict Rim or Center weight distribution. So the higher the percentage is "MY" interpretation/feeling of where the weight is focused on the yoyo since I know everyone has a preference based on their playing style. @@quentinscott1222 thank you for comment. It really makes me happy that I can help any way I can. From my experience, all used Duncan yoyos on Amazon will specifically state that it's used. If it doesn't state that, then it's a new yoyo. 🙂

@@adeeyhudsons6439 it plays ok. The rims are not stainless steel but it's aluminum. It's floaty and ok on stability and plays like a mono metal yoyo but with shiny rims.
