      That is awesome! I am hoping we do something like that in the future and take advantage of the 1 year visa for Americans. Appreciate the feedback and maybe we meet up in our travels!

    We just found you and subscribed.. We are a military couple retired in 2001 after 37 years. Hubby did both Marines and then switched over to Army. We sold everything and are living in our RV for now. We have had several things happen, health wise, that have kept us from coming overseas for now. However, if we have no more accidents. lol, we are hoping to get back on track with our overseas plans.. We were never stationed overseas but hope to travel there without orders soon. We enjoy your videos because they give the cost of everything and the pictures you show. They are interesting and fun. We also like that they are short so we can have time to watch them.. Keep up the good work. We look forward to many more of your videos. Pete and Jackie

    Nice one guys! Those monthly costs are pretty similar to ours. We eat out less, but our entertainment costs (Dick and Devil) contribute significantly to the monthly costs. Hope you are well in Greece and was so lovely to meet with you guys!

    You’re very lucky in Albania, you met only the good people and reasonable priced hotels that provide you with kitchen. I lived 4 months in Tirana, couldn’t get a hotel that allows me to cook .

      We met up with lots of expats who rented airbnbs for 3 months (off-season) and got far better prices than us and had full kitchens (we only could do tea and coffee etc in our hotel "kitchenette".

    Well you two are living the dream! I hope all is well and you have a greater time with each new place.
    Question: How far out have you planned out? Is it a very loose plan or do you like to have all the details planned out a year away?
    Being a points guy myself, I learned early on that to get the best deals I’d go out 11 months, book, and then monitor things to see if the costs go down.
    Thanks for sharing. Look forward to see where the adventure takes you!

      We were just talking about this. We are booked out 2 months at the moment, but need to get better about booking further out for the deals ... so many things to think about!

    There's no way you can make that budget work in the US. Did your place have a full kitchen and laundry?

    • @2TravelWithoutOrders
      @2TravelWithoutOrders  6 месяцев назад +1

      Isn't it amazing how little it costs in Albania!? And that was eating out most of the time, and living a great life. If you really wanted to you could live there for way less than that!
      The studio we stayed at in Tirana had a full kitchen and laundry. The hotel we stayed in Saranda had a kitchenette (no oven), and the hotel did laundry for free for us when we wished.
