- I found a Hot speckled trout bite around this Coal Dock! In this video I head out on a beautiful Mid February day in search for some Quality Speckled Trout. I chose a spot with plenty of moving water around structure and it was almost every cast I was either getting a bite or catching a fish on the @southernsaltbaitcompany Hoodwink.

Is that water high in salinity right now? Always wondered how all of our rain from up in Camden area affected the fishing in the bay. Seems like you'll be getting alot of freshwater over the next week or so.

It’s so hard to find them 1/4oz hooks for those slick lures. 1/8oz you can always find. When I did find them I bought multiple packs. Have you tried the lil slicks yet? The long skinny ones.
Yes I love the swamp thing color of the Lil slick! And that’s odd. I’m not a fan of the 1/4oz hook in the OG slick

Well you caught more specks in 45 minutes than I have caught in three months. Life just ain't fair. Did you say mobile river? I found the coal plant on Google. The tip off was the large black spot. I am surprised they let you fish in there.
