- Hello everyone. I know this has been done on my channel before. It was shot on New Year’s Day. Perfect day for a nice relaxing maintenance wash. In hindsight I should have dug out my old autoglym cannon for completeness but it slipped my mind at the time and the Mjjc was too hand. Hope you enjoy this one.

Great video. I'm looking forward to my first clean with these products. I have seen that alot of people say don't put the polar seal on your windscreen. I personally love the look on the windscreen but has it given you any problems?.
Hello. Thanks mate. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. I’ve never experienced enormously negative effects re putting it on the windscreen. I’m one of those people that would polish the windscreen, use glaze, Gyeon wet coat. Whatever I’m using goes on the glass. I also do my utmost not to use the wipers (providing I’m going 40mph+) the water just rolls off. I’ve only ever had wiper squeak during that type of rain that’s not hard enough to require wipers, but enough to obscure vision and no amount of dialing back the intermittency will reduce it.
I had toyed with trying some windscreen coatings but a good friend of mine said he’d tried all the headliners and they all squealed like a pig. So I sidestepped that test for my channel because I didn’t want to test something that I couldn’t say ‘hand on heart’ was actually any good.
Only other thing I can add is that my wipers are apprx 12 months old and I regularly put perl in them to ensure subtleness and provide uv protection.

You and JLNT convinced me to buy Polar Seal. It really is a lovely product, beads water and smells fab (I get deja vu 'dad aftershave' vibes) and I prefer it to BH Touch-on.
New mic is performing really well on your videos too.
Any thoughts on a windscreen coating. I'm reapplying Glaco DX when I get time.
Lastly, Love the music. I'm sure Harper's Detailing channel uses it too
Hello. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. As you know I also like Gyeon wet coat but the simplicity and end results of the autoglym polar kit is so good. Really easy to use and provides a good result. And yes. The smell is a massive bonus also.
I’ve not tried a windscreen coating. I’ll add that to my list for 2024 investigation.

@@pigeonpoo1823 Yes. I’ve watched most of his Subaru videos and loads of his cleaning videos. I comment regularly and where applicable. Commenting is a great way of gaining exposure and becoming part of the wider community. When I make it in to the Adsense scheme I’ll be sure to make a video about my journey. I’ve dreamt about it for quite some time. 😂
Should literally be 3/4 days at current growth levels I estimate. I’m really close.
