LOB was the last of a dying breed. We will never see a defense like this again because the NFL rules won’t allow it. I followed them really closely because I knew I was witnessing greatness. After watching watered down nfl football all day on Sunday, I typed in legion of boom into RUclips in hopes of reliving the days of real defense. And of course, you have a masterpiece made on the LOB! Great work as always! Your videos always seem to inspire me in my everyday life. You are truly the 🐐 at what you do!

The best defensive unit of this decade. LOB will one day be mentioned amongst some of the greats, such as, The Steel Curtain, Purple People Eaters, Monsters of the Midway, etc. We're watching history, folks!
TWAHAN 70's had the Iron Curtain, 80's had the Bears, 90's didn't exactly have a super defense that comes to mind, 00's had the Ravens or maybe the '02 Bucs, and the 2010's have the Legion of Boom.

Let's admit it that this defensive unit by far the most powerful and most dominant defensive unit that NFL has been witnessed and now they are just part of the undying history. It took several decades to assemble each player that is compatible with each other and form this iconic and legendary unit and that unit is "Legion of Boom". They are incomparable and irreplaceable in the world of American Football.

After the Denver Superbowl the LOB were never on the field all together again. The real LOB is Brandon Browner and Sherman at corner. THE BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET, KAM CHANCELLOR at SS and Earl Thomas at FS. Throw in Thurmond as the Nickel and that's the LOB. After Superbowl we lost Thurmond to free agency and Browner to PED trouble. That was the real end of the LOB. After reading all these comments about how the Vikings recently stack up better is just people showing how little they really understand. That secondary was so good it totally overshadowed how good the rest of the defense was. Bennett, Cliff Avril, Brandon Mebane and Tony McDaniel as the front 4 and name a better linebacking Corp at the time then Bobby Wagner, KJ Wright and Bruce Irvin? Our 4th LB Malcolm Smith was the Superbowl mvp and he wasn't good enough to start cuz we ran 4-3 most of the time....That defense is legit in the same conversation when you talk 85 bears, 76 Steelers, 00 ravens for GOAT. What they did to the GOAT offense in the Superbowl has never been done before and probably will never happen again. When people try and diminish the performance of just that one game, it kills me. What other measuring stick do you need to determine the greatest defense of all time other than Molly whoppin the best offense of all time? There was no what ifs. It was the cherry on top of what quite possibly could be one of the 3 best defenses in the history of the NFL.

God damn i miss this D. If we dropped our current offense (plus Baldwin and Lynch) into 2012, seahawks would go undefeated at least once and win 3 SBs in a row, 2012/13/14. Maybe even 15 for a 4th straight ring. We would dominate every stat on every side, against every team. It wouldnt even be close. Best 5 years stretch of D in the history of football, with a historic offense...plus a few greats for nostalgia and because they were just great....it wouldnt be close...for yearsssss.
