I started VAN LIFE because i was tired of the day to day routine of doing the same thing, same job, same drive to work, same mornings, same nights...everything was the same day after day. Van Life has been just an awesome experience since day one. This full time for me. I am in this for the long haul. I Love Van life. Its been the best choice i have ever made. I started Van life with my English bulldog names Disco. He is my hommie and my heater lol. I Built my van build is simple to show everyone that you can start Van Life with just the basics and build your van as you go. That you don't need a big fancy build to get started. VAN LIFE is closer then you think. just grab the basics you need and get started. You will figure out what you need after you are in the van. I don't have solar or battery banks, a sink or an electric fridge. I didn't need that stuff to get started. I am sure in the future at some point when i feel the need for those things i will get them. But so far i have everything i need without all the fuss and stress of Solar panel, deep cycle batteries, and a full van build. One day maybe but right now i feel at home in my van with everything i need.
I have dedicated my life right now to doing youtube full-time, i have fallen in love with the creative aspect of filming and editing. I am still learning and and grinding to make this a full time gig for me. I would love to earn enough through youtube and Patreon to be able to travel and film for you and the world everyday. To share my journeys from my prospective and to inspire and uplift my viewers to be themselves and life the life they want. To be who they are truly meant to be. YOU.

Van-Life" My favorite place in all of the city in which I live in, which is Tampa, Fl is on the crosstown overlooking the Port of Tampa and all its industrial wonder at dusk when all the lights hit the bay. So I totally get the gritty city art vibe feel. Just keep doing what you're doing. You are such a powerful positive light!

I truly believe that we need to embrace every single day and look for the messages and blessings that each sunrise brings. Sometimes we need to slow down, turn our attention inwards and seek to understand our own energy. I have a lot of really great days but I understand that I need a few bad ones every now and then. I plan for those days, I even hold on to things until those days happen and then o have the best bad day ever and it clears the slate and makes me more appreciative of the good ones. Downtown Vancouver is such a sensory place and it brings people alive. Thanks for the video Chrome and I hope you and Disco are crazy happy and content. Now let’s go paint some rainbows!

its funny what recharges our batteries, the inner city darker areas drain and depress me, but put me next to the sea during a storm or in the woods and I am calm, refreshed happy and chilled. Its great you recognise what you need...I do some creative things to help my balance but for me it might be a painting or creating a new book. We are all different and thats the greatest thing we all have in common.

Good morning Chrome and Disco, at first I thought you might have caught the bad bug that has hit a lot of Alberta. I am glad that it was not that. You are so right! Getting up and placing our focus in other places besides ourselves...well gets the focus off that funk that we felt and would keep feeling if we didn't make that choice to do something different, whatever that may be. The old saying comes to mind when you talk about van life that I have found so true: HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS : no matter what that looks like, no matter how humble or glorious, make home your place where you look forward to being.
You are so insightful. Thanks for your videos. They are always full of wisdom...and cool music and beautiful sights!
I love your videos Chrome! What about doing some volunteer work with the inner city youths? I think it would be cool if you did a DJ Training class for the kids. You might even be able to get some community sponsors to help fund it and kind of promote your Youtbue Channel at the same time. Maybe in an inner city park or something. Rock on my friend! :-)
YOU ARE RIGHT! We all have to push past the bad days. It’s okay to have a pity party for a bit, but we should fight against letting it grab hold. Everything really is going to be ok.

I hate to say but I felt like that one day recently and after taking my BP and consulting with my daughter who's an tramua ER nurse, I went to the ER. Turned out nothing wrong with my heart. BUT, I found I have a aortal artery anurism. It's not life threatened yet. But close to criteria for surgery. Maybe you weren't feeling that bad. Glad you made it through the day without anything else being wrong

Hey Chrome, I was like that for awhile feeling like I was drained all the time. I went to my doctor and my body was low on iron so I got some iron tablets in the vitamin section at Walmart and in about a week I was back to feeling like my old self again. Stress can also make you feel that way too...

First song 1:15 to 2:40 is funky enough to get anyone back in the groove..I loved it! One thing I've always wondered is where you get all your energy from.. all the videos you seem so upbeat.. I'm a city girl and I'm sick of the noise and seeing the same view every day of the hospital and medical buildings doing yardwork and picking up garbage out of my yard and hearing the noise from emergency vehicles and people speeding by my house I'm ready for a change

Always enjoy your videos.. the way you pair the music with the current mood of the video, especially on this video, I could tell you got rid of that depressing funk and got your groove back. The tracks you incorporate into your clips add considerably to the enjoyment, depth and the overall feeling that you are trying to convey. It just shows another side to the creativity that you possess and pour into each of your Vancity Vanlife productions. Sometimes, after drawing from this pool of creativity long enough, you have to go for a recharge..which you did in fantastic style. Seeing you so excited about the van dwelling way of life is quite contagious. I have to admit, I have binge watched almost all of your channel and find it very inspiring. Always stay positive, I wish nothing but the best life has to offer to come your way.

I watched your video and saw you and Disco and listened to what you had to say and immediately pulled out some firearms I have and began to clean and adjust them and just like you said "SNAP" I was suddenly full of positive energy!!!!!!

I learned something new today about your sweet Disco. Bull dogs nostrils are small and pushed back causing them to breath through their mouth and therefore breathing in a lot of air. This air makes a lot of gas which in turn makes them fart a great deal. To funny. I'm sure Disco doesn't have a problem with this at all but you might want to keep some air freshener on hand haha. More power to you Disco!!!! lol

Patty Martirosian he didn't give you a heart so I will lol. This is chad we commented in the past. I haven't watched van life channels in a while . but this video makes me seriously want to sell my cars and get either a nice used motor home or van and go for it...I rent in a home currently. My friends all work regular jobs so I want eventually a travel partner again as it makes travel better. I already work for myself so that's taken care of. All the best .

Right now I am window shopping for a van - Bob Wells on Cheap RV Living recommends Chevy Cargo. I am debating whether to buy a used class C motor home or van to travel in will take more time I think a small motor home is best for me. I recently saw Kayla Lindseys RUclips channel she is travelling and working from her laptop around the USA in a used Sprinter van she has been doing it for over a year. I love the sprinter vans that would be perfect for me I thought. You may want to check her channel too but this channel is my favorite so far I like chrome and his videos with the way he presents things and the colors etc. what state do you want to vandwell in once you get your van ? I want to travel to northern California and Oregon what state are you in? All the best.
Good morning! For the Sprinter - I had been eye-balling them too, but I have read many warnings NOT to get one after they were converted over for emissions compliance - I want to say 1996 but I am not sure.I am in CA but I want tour the US and then to drive up the coast and into AK and maybe Canada since Chrome has been posting such surreal videos - I never knew Canada was so beautiful. Little 3 or 4 window shuttle buses are so cheap and I would love to convert one of those - but then I worry about gas mileage. I always seem to end up going back to cargo ... I am drooling over the Mercedes Metris cargo van - they came out with a 135" extended version this year

I'm also in California and was watching egnimatic nomadics channel he a few months ago bought a short bus in great condition for only $1600. Its in one of his past videos . or I figure I could get a used motor home for a good price which to me is the best all around choice for me.
