IM SICK OF BEING IN AMERICA, I WANT TO DISCOVER ANOTHER COUNTRY, PERHAPS PHILLIPPINES IN THE FUTURE, MY STAR WILL SHINE IN THAT BELOVED COUNTRY....WAIT FOR ME IN THE NEXT COUNTRY....SO, I WILL INVEST IN SOME FACTORIES AND ENTERPRISES.....
This is Cebu suburban, the most visited island by foreigners but....not many people speak good English....so the myth: every one in the Philippines speak English is not true, or exaggerated.....and their bragging that the Philippines is the 3 largest English speaking country is also false.... in big cities like Manila and Cebu, most people know English ( becoz it’s mandatory in school), but less than 5% speak English every days at home....the only one country in Asia where people speak English regularly in public and at home is Singapore.
The English comprehension varies widely. Pronunciation is different here so it can take a trained ear also to understand some and to learn the local language. My experience is that over 60% of Filipinos can communicate effectively in English with many doing very well. Some are just shy or uncomfortable also. I have had many taxi drivers tell me they have poor English and only 6th grade education but I have had a good conversation with them.
I did say most Filipinos KNOW English because it’s mandatory in schools, but they don’t speak it regularly, they will ended up can not communicate in English , 99% of them speak Tagalog or dialects to each other, so it can not be called an English speaking country as they used to brag. English is wildly understood, but NOT wildly spoken. Even in the U.S most Filipino Americans speak their language with each other most of times, only young people born there do speak English more then Tagalog.
We can speak english nd 95% understand foreigner!!,even uneducated person or kids n rural area can speak little english!! U never understand bcz u can't speak multilingual or quadlingual..

I call those Journeys, Adventures! LOL!
Thanks. I also love the journey and adventure.
I have a hard time believing that "an area with many resorts" was somehow misunderstood. That sounds like a scam situation.
I asked my gf what she had told the driver and the translation was more than a little vague so the drivers weren't sure where to take us I think.
I have a gf from Cebu they understand what you say when it comes to food or travel they don’t care about your choice don’t fool yourself if you choose not to make waves that’s ok but don’t fool yourself
Thanks Intuitive Sean.

@14:00 I’ll be retiring in a few months, you’ll probably see me in a Luzon city cruising around looking for a materialistic and corrupted young lady lol
Good luck with your plans. Have fun and stay safe.
They all corrupt
@@carlcutts7714 ??
@@carlcutts7714 Please tell : who is not corrupt in some way, unless one is an enlightended monk. An advise from a wise very old guy. If one aspire for a young partner, be sure you have the financial capabilities (not soley the meager retirement sum to meet all the possible whims and caprices of what you corrupt young lady), physically (self-explaining and obvious requirement), and morally fit (capability to distinguised from what's right or wrong, at least)

Thanks Remo. We will wait for you.
Only the elders not speak much English....much
Hmmm rip off philippines specially van or car rentals they just make it up it is more expensive than Uk and europe
Just another miserable place !
