Thanks for rge tour. It made me miss being in the Philippines. I'll be retiring there and still be working as soon as they open up traveling again. God blees the wonderful people of the Philippines.
$23,000? Wow, what a gorgeous house 🏠!!
It boggles my mind what one can purchase around the world 🌎 in comparison to the living expense here in America!
whoa, i'll sell my car and buy a house like that in the PH, leave the maddening rat race here in the US, and live the simple life
Trust me, i think about that everyday. Makes it easier too when you've got a Filipina wife ;)
Lets go! Lol
Exactly!! Man, I wish I had realized sooner how much cheaper it is to live there. I would have prioritized things in my life MUCH differently. Better late than never!🤷🏼♂️ And Filipinas...Wow! Put American women to shame in nearly every single way!!
@@jimmorrison3878 100% Agreed!
The only way is with a Filipino wife and then it has to be in her name. Unless it’s a condo.
That is the cutest house. What a lucky family. In New York State home ownership, where starts at 350,000. I would love this exact house, its the cutest thing, 23,000 for an entire house is mind blowing.
I'm falling in love with the Philippines and its potential

Give it a try to visit first then u have the idea. Isn't it goodluck
Go visit for a few months first.

Brother, the ONLY place I could live in the Philippines is Baguio City in the northern Philippines. The heat and humidity are SO OPPRESSIVE there! All you want to do is sit in front of an A/C all day and keep cool! It simply destroys my health! If it were not for the heat and humidity, I'd move there with my wife in a heartbeat! My wife is from Cebu City and even she has a very difficult time with the heat and humidity after coming to the US and living in beautiful AZ! We have warm weather, but it's a dry heat!
Wow, very dreamy house. We as Americans and the other foreigners are so blessed to be able to live in a place like the Philippines and retire there too. Seeing stories like this continues to motivate to make a move there again in four (4) years to retire. From US American Air Force Security Police Military Veteran who was station at Clark Air Base (Angeles), Philippines right before Mount Pinatubo volcano explosion in 1991.
Yes, our country is very beautiful.,to live peacefully, and I may say we are hospitable people, and we like American people. ❤️❤️❤️
And I hope to find my future American husband to be.
@@norlizabardos971buieee wag kang o.a a
@@norlizabardos971 If only the Philippines did not have the worst food in Asia and the most unhealthy one. Veggies? Why if we can east white rice with meat. And the limitied mind set of Filippinos when it comes to anything else then the 5 main veggies is scary. Then add that all other import food is from ultra expensive brands (DO NEVER BUY BRANDS if you have to budget) and you will lose your mind.
Awesome video Ned! I'd be totally happy with this place. Thanks for posting this!
It’s a very nice house, love the flor, high ceilings. And an option to expand
Very nicely done. I like the simple design. High ceilings will keep the house cool. Looks very spacious inside. All it needs now is that luck of paint. Great job.
Mine was a bit more...as it's quite large and near a city-center, but it's got a similar open floor plan/industrial style. Nicely done!
Life is looking good, Ned! Glad you're doing well.
Im liking the cement finish on the walls. Pretty nice for a single person home
Cheers for the walk around Ned.
I subbed yesterday after watching this vlog. I was impressed by how you made the house tour.
Private homes in the Philippines seldom have insulation. If available it is usually expensive. Insulation is suggested not to keep cold out but to ease the heat from creeping in. One house we stayed has metal roof, ample room for the attic but gets to 90's by 9:00AM, needed attic ventilation. I had a smalll house built and to cut down A/C bills, I had insulation between walls with RICE HULLS!!! I had to mix it with 10% Borax by weight. This assures me being fire retardant and insect(Roach and ants) repellent.
Smart mixing in the borax
good idea
Thinking of building a home in the province too. Thanks for showing us around and for the build details.
Enjoy the summer breeze of the country side of the Philippines... God bless your life in Philippines Sir...
Very similar (although modernly) updated to the house of the parents of my then Panamanian girlfriend. 30 years ago. I like this place and I'm happy to see people being blessed.
The only thing I would add is roof guards so that the roof doesn't peel during strong typhoon winds. Look's great though!
Thank you for sharing to your house.
Ned. thank you for making all the good videos for us I enjoy them
That is a real life with peace and tranquility. Mam o man your place is like heaven! Amen to that
Very proud to say, I’ve made it to Bindoy. Love these concrete houses and the view of the sugar cane. This is just beautiful.
Xhupa chups traitor
if you say so
Great design and use of space for a house of that size and price. They did well Ned! 👍
Really nice house. Congrats to the new owners.
Love it ,well thought out design ,beautiful people ,
Salamat for the house tour Ned. Love the place 👍
Beautiful home, nice design
Awesome video ned,and a beautiful home, thanks
Thanks for the info! I think the vaulted ceiling is key for the weather in Negros. I was born in the Occidental side and thinking of doing renovation there so the cost info is very informative. Thank you!
Wow, nice house, practical, the mahagony and the bathroom, and the price, unbelievable. 👍👍
WOW!! Your friend got a great deal & big savings on that house!! Baby is very cute too!!
I'm loving the loft area of the house this is how i want my house built in the Philippines

Wow I have to admit I love the design in and out.
Smart open floor plan. I like it!
Thanks for sharing the beatiful home tour Ned. I love Mahagony door!! Your family is looking great and your daughter is looking more like a princess every day. If you decide to stay there and get some land, I hope that you will do this too. I'm always wishing the best for all of you. I'm still debating if I should get my SRRV before they jack the price up! Keep on keeping on!
In 1938, a guy named Higgins bought all the mahogany , wholesale, from the Philippines, he started building small boats and yachts. When the winds of war started blowing he switched to landing crafts, the rest is history.
Good job for what its worth. 👍 Thanks for sharing.
i like this house, simple yet organized..am sure it will look nicier with a paint inside 😍😍😍
Jane and David seem like awesome people... great video :)

Thanks for the info!
Such a pretty, happy family
Very helpful video
Beautiful!
It's good that your wife is always taking care of cutie pie.
Beautiful home.
Beautiful. Living the dream
Love the custom made mahogany stairwell.
Im impressed thank you for sharing
New sub here!! Thats a great build!!! Love to know the builder!
When I move over there permanently I will be building my own house. Realize, just like in the US, the price is three times as much if a contractor builds it. So the house that would cost $60,000, would actually cost less than what he has in his current structure.
Which part of the Philippines are you gonna to moved to? If you want the same size house like here in the states. If you want to lived a few hours drive from manilla there's a few lots that for sale in Lipa City Batangas and it's in a gated community plus there's two former model homes that are for sale. I got that info from a RUclips vlogger called my pi dream the vlogger named is James Tanner maybe you could contact him. When you plan and your spouse will moved to the Philippines.
Better to paint it in white. Since the house is a bit dark. The floor, the furnitures are dark.
Another nice thing about this it that you have more space for expansion 👍🏼
The wife and I will be building a new home in monkayo in about a year hopefully we will have good luck with our builder.

@@Captford i did. Thanks for the info
Nice. Good floor plan!
Hi Ned, thanks for the video, informative, educational, well done, thanks again. Maybe dial down the background music so we can hear you better.
It's a very nice house indeed. After skim coat inside I would paint all walls white. I can see bright yellow, green and orange color houses in Puerto Princesa.
Congratulations sir !!! …
I like it. It's spacious. I love high ceilings
Nice!!!! Keep up your great work
nice house with a lot of thoughts going into every detail. Did they use an architect to create the game plan for the contractor?
i like the house it is very minimalist simple is beautiful
Blessed him not to have issues with the builder. Most builders are crooked especially dealing with foreigners. Very nice home, thanks for sharing. Take care.
The baby is adorable!
Beautiful house., love it
Nice place, price sounds about right, I Built a 3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom rancher, cost about PHP 3 million including the Hollow Block wall around the house. We used local builders and had no issues with the build, and we're still deciding what color of paint for the walls, trying to find a place that mixes paint to get the color we want.
This house is amazing
Beautiful house!
nice place, very cute place!!! simple yet functional!!!
Very nice..Solid!
its very simple elegant home there. very comfy
awesome house awesome video..
Truly looks like a great place to live
Possible additions: Rain collection and deep well with filter for water collection, solar panels exhaust for hybrid connection, exhaust for inside kitchen and gate surrounding property.
Thank you for the Great video
Seems pretty nice but I'm confused that the bedroom is up in a loft, considering that heat rises and that ceiling is going to channel all the heat up, and the AC will fill the bottom of the house, further driving the heat up. I didn't see any ventilation up there either. I guess if you're used to sleeping in 90 degree heat, but that's not for me.
It's my intention to do central air in a build, a true 2 story build with ceiling fans in each room, and since the kitchen, dining room and living room are all one great room there will be three fans to take care of that. It would have an intake above the TV/entertainment system, which is also close to where the AC unit will be, and I'll probably have to deal with an intake on the 2nd floor to remove heat, so probably a common room which would only have an intake and a fan while each bedroom has a fan and vent for the AC. Or, I could do an exhaust vent on the 2nd floor instead of recircing that heat. That should deal with the removal of heat well enough. But, the central air is only for day time as it will run off of solar panels. After the sun sets then we only have the ceiling fans.
I assume what they'll have to do in that house is use regular fans in the loft, or they could mount a ceiling fan close to the bed to move air over it, but since hot air rises you'd have to create a bit of circulation to ensure that air gets cooled. They could have an exhaust up in the ceiling on one side of that great room and you'd try to create an air circ pattern where the cool air moves up towards the loft while warming and then moves across to the other side where the exhaust is. But yeah, high ceilings are used in the PH specifically for providing space for the warm air that rises. I wouldn't want to put a bed in it.
Our bedroom is of course on the 1st floor for ease and that's the coolest part of the house. Since we're out in the barrio and have more trees around, that should be good enough. MAYBE if we find that isn't enough in the hottest part of the summer we could install a window unit in master bedroom no. 1 for night time.
It's not a cheap build, but I've seen homes out there that look like 5000 - 6000 sq. ft homes so we won't stand out, as we're close to a town there. I haven't calculated it out but I don't think it's more than 3500 sq. ft, not including the garage that's attached.
Really really nice
Keep up the Great work
Very beautiful house
Wow, that house was so well built.
Hello , how are you doing?
Ned i had no problems with the house we built last year we pulled the old one down and built on the same spot but bigger new house
