As a Reiko main, my Reiko is lvl35, every palette, every foreground, every background unlocked, every taunt activated, every helmet found, I'm able to tie Reiko's combos together quite easily, for example, I can do Fwd-X-Y-B and then tie it in with two buttons from his B-A-B, and use B-A, and then tie THAT in with Dwn-Bk-A. I'm ALSO able to do Y-X+Dwn-Bk-A, and then I can ALSO do X-Y+Dwn-Bk-A, and B-A+Dwn-Bk-A, ALL of which do almost ABOVE 30 percent damage. when I have Reiko paired with Jax, I can do Fwd X Y B and tie it with Jax's air-grab, and then do a Dwn-Bk-A, in result it comes out as a 21-28% damage combo. I can ALSO use Fwd X Y B and then Jax's air-grab, and when at 30% health, I can tie BOTH of those moves in with Reiko's Fatal Blow at the moment that Jax hits the ground with the opponent. When paired with Tremor, my Reiko can do Fwd X Y and then tie it in with Tremor's Ground Pound in Aftershock Forme, which is Back RB, I can ALSO do Y X Back RB, B A Back RB, and X Y Back RB. Reiko has been my main since launch, I USED to main Reiko/Darrius, and now I main Reiko/Tremor and Reiko/Jax because Tremor was my main in MKX, and Jax works with Reiko probably the best out of all of the Kameos. Janet is almost completely useless when paired with Reiko, as was MY experience with Janet, but she works EXCELLENTLY with Johnny, because of course, Johnny is broken, and Janet is a feminist Johnny, so of course, she is broken as well. My Reiko can do ALL of those combos and ALL of that damage, with Reiko, ax and Tremor alone. EDIT: Reiko ALSO has the most-likely the MOST Brutalities out of everyone else in the game, and when paired with a lvl15 Tremor, Reiko's number of Brutalities goes up to TWELVE, as Tremor has six Brutalities in and of HIMSELF, 3 OF WHICH are projectile-based Brutalities. THEREFORE, Reiko and Tremor are one of, IF NOT THE BEST duo in the game, and Johnny and Janet don't come close.
To hit comfirm the running knee is very easy, all you guys have to do to get it 100% of the time is just react by inputing the slide FIRST (bf3) and only after that you hold up, you have more time than you would think, try it its very easy and reliable, holding back can make it trick so hold up
I've used the parry move on wakeup against Liu Kang quite alot. Reason being that his forward 4,1 breaks armor with the kicks being so fast. But the parry does work really well because the kicks are mid attacks. If you meter burn the parry you can also combo out of it with back 3, but remember that there's a side switch
The fact that Darrius takes up the whole kameo bar makes me not like using him, not to mention the timing after the command grab is a little tricky. The scorpion assist is really useful for some pop up combos to get ~350 damage more consistently since the cooldown doesn’t take as long - can’t combo from the grab though. Also agreed, his projectile is INSANE!
His B2 is plus on block and I think it even jails opponents into F12 or the regular 12. There’s also his F2 which is a fast overhead, very punishable on whiff but almost everyone’s default block stance is the crouch block if they don’t have/want to spend meter.
I haven’t tested this but something tells me that you can use the Motaro teleport assist after the EX slide or his 434 string to stay close to your opponents after you launch them. That said, his parry is both underrated but risky; Baraka, Mileena, Johnny, and Scorpion have a lot of high and overhead attacks to capitalize on but some of the other high tier characters like Raiden have ways around it that makes it harder.
you can 434 into ex slide and it connects. unless i misunderstood what you asked. you can do 434, ex slide, stand 3, command grab or tactical takedown stand 34 might work as well instead of just stand 3, but id have to hop on and try it. if not your missing out on just a kicks worth of dmg so

I think my train of thought was looking at which combo strings launch the opponent up or kept them high enough in the air for you to teleport behind them and start a new combo string before the EX slide, takedown, or command grab. That thinking process came up when I remembered Super using Reptile’s spit to stun the opponent and Motaro teleported him behind the opponent for a quick follow up while they were in hit stun. Maybe I was thinking too hard and the easy idea is to anti-air with 4 or 3 the follow up with 12, 21, F1, and so on.
Linking the stand 3,4 into enhanced slide is kinda frustrating. It’s hard to do it consistently. I don’t really want to miss out on that extra damage but dropping the combo always leads to a punish for me
I was really excited to use him, but the more I do, the less he interest me. His back kick should be a low but it’s a mid. He can’t start combos and he takes more energy to use than sub-zero

Reiko’s parry is not good.. you can get poked out of the start up animation of it and the exiting animation of the parry.. they have to hit right in the middle of the parry animation for it to work… which defeats the whole purpose of the parry..
I despise Mortal Kombat for the fact that the moves aren't "Back forward" because you first need to do stand. So instead of a simple 46 input that you can also hold at the 4 like any other one. or a 236 input you can hold crouching before you do. It's FORCED to be a 546 because Netherrealm despise good game design.

If you want to use another Kameo, try Jax. His command grabs are also super good, especially the ground pound.

I pair with Stryker for mix ups and zoning, I use Darius sometimes too
Stryker is much more fun when you use his restand paired with Reikos plus frames
