1989 Box Chevy Build Ep.57 Installing Extended Wheel Studs & Wilwood Brake Calipers, Cleaning Rotors

RUclips!!!!! In this episode of the Box Chevy Build I'll be checking some things off the to do list. Starting with the brake rotors, them things are technically brand new but also been exposed to the outside elements for a while so the developed some surface rust, got them cleaned, treated and installed some much needed extended studs. Installed the rotors back on the car along with some Wilwood Brake calipers. That's all for this video I'll be under the car on the next episode so stay tuned in!!!!

Even though i like the look of the all black rotor. You should take the paint off the contact part of the rotors. It will interfere with the pads, causing your brakes to not work correctly. You put too much time and money into Summer Rain for that to happen, plus it's for your safety

Get the whole 20 pack of lock lugs..it's cheaper and you'll have a key as well and they are 39.95 for the whole pack ..got em on my 83 box

Dorman makes an oversize caliper bolt if you want to do it the easy way instead of retapping the spindle to a larger size finding a different bolt or installing a helicoil thread repair.
