Thank you very much for this upload, great review! Very useful feedback, it really shows you have significant experience on the product and attention to many details. I believe it´s one of the most comprehensive reviews of this helmet on the platform.
Wind noise is because of top air vent. Just put your hand to block air and helmet will be silent. Thats why you dont hear wind noise when helmet is half open as it deflect air away from top air vent.
I am planning to buy one helmet and I was looking for AGV k1 series. Thanks to the stupid ISI rule I can't seem to find that and now I am stuck with kyt and ls2 likes. Any recommendations from your side? My priorities are : Protection > weight > wind-noise (in that order under 20-25k)
Hey.. Even I was in this situation. I'm only familiar with MT and I was in a hurry so I just picked up MT Thunder 4 SV. I didn't even evaluate KYT or LS. After picking up the MT, I got some recommendations for KYT. Whatever you pick, make sure it's the ECE 22.06. I actually wanted a HJC but after searching a bit and talking to a few dealers, I understood that it's not being imported at the moment. My MT Thunder 4 SV is ok... Good protection. Weight is like 1550 grams. It's noisy.... Check out KYT R2R Pro. Few people recommended. It has 22.06 ECE and ISI.
LS2 Vector 2 is also a good one.. I haven't used it but seen positive reviews. Fibreglass shell, slightly heavy at 1600+ gms, has a ratchet strap mechanism like MT 4, sunvisor mechanism is also similar like a slider. Pinlock is also included I think. I spent separately for pinlock and MT4 came to 15000.
Hey, Nice video. I am also in the market for a new helmet and will zero in on the one with little to no wind noise. I understand noise will be there, but whoever gives less noise will be my pick. Can you suggest something within, let's say, under 15K? +/-2k here and there is okay. Thanks
@@buddy_infoI have realised that in this price range none of helmets can do a good job of keeping wind noise down. Unfortunately that's how it is. Lot of people are recommending the LS2 FF811 Vector 2 helmet. I saw it in the showroom and it looks good. Check it out. MT Thunder 4 is noisy so might not be a good choice. Alternate thing to do is use ear plugs to reduce noise. Hope this helps you in deciding.
@@HighwayToHill thanks for your revert. I am using No-Noise earplugs but they are not convenient. That's why looking for a near silent helmet on reasonable price. Have you tried LS2 helmets?

Can you suggest some quiet helmets.
Hey... these will be your high end imported helmets like Shoei, Schuberth, Shark Evo, AGV K6 onwards... HJC RPHA etc.
