I love the fit of this helmet. I got mine the Thunder 4 SV test design. By my experience, the downside is the wind noise; I experienced temporary hearing loss when I used it. Ear plugs are highly advised.

It's a touring helmet. In case of emergency a common person can operate a micrometric system but they can't open a DDR system..also micrometric now days are as secure.
@@Vickyrocks247 That’s why we have quick release mechanism for emergency purposes. Also accidents don’t discriminate If you are touring or taking rounds on a track. Even latest micrometric fasteners aren’t safe as DDR. If they are, we still won’t have restrictions for using only DDR on race tracks. Also from personal experience, I’ve seen one of my friend’s HJC with micrometric fasteners come off in the event of a crash.

And yes , micrometric system is less secure than DDR but with advancement in materials and technology it is very less likely to open on speeds allowed on roads. If a good brand helmet's micrometric system failed in accident than most probably the helmet wasn't correct size or was worn for more than 3-4 years ( most people don't understand that helmets also have shelf life and they keep wearing same for many years!) And regarding helmets coming off, i have seen DDR helmets coming off too many times while on track .. !! Most of the time the reason for helmet going off during crash is not related to strap closure system but loose fitting or aged helmets!!

HI everyone, Stop promoting MT helmets and praising them. you will only understand their face when you go for warranty. as a user of MT helmet I had bad experience in warranty claim and i would suggest people to stop promoting this brand. retailers will sell anything for money, please be aware everyone.

Trash helmet (made in China)~ The left cheek EPS near the belt location just "cracked" when I wear it only about five times🖕 There is no any plastic board protection on the cheek EPS!!!😑😑😑

No Double D-Ring ! 🤦
Testing has show that D ring are not any more safe then micrometric lock it is just that people may not fully tighten a micrometric lock.
