    after a while of trying every single auto tune i’ve noticed with artist it doesn’t track as good sometimes a vocal will be off pitch like auto tune just straight up won’t correct it compared to auto tune pro and efx i feel like both of those do a better job keeping everything on pitch

    • @IanBellueMusic
      @IanBellueMusic  Месяц назад

      @@voodo8715 interesting, my assumption is that is the same tuning algorithm as pro or efx, i might try a side by side w pro to see if i notice any differences as well.

    should you adjust the detune number based on the auto key number sometimes is not 440 hz

    Could you possibly break down the tracking knob a little bit better? I didn’t fully understand what you meant in the video

      It's a tough one, my understanding is that the tracking is something like a gate. If the tracking is set to 100 then its going to be less sensitive to pitch changes in the vocals. For instance, if there's background noise, unconventional vocals, or seeming to jump around too much, then turning up tracking can help it to not change the pitch based off things that aren't the actual vocal performance pitch. I never touch this setting, I generally thing issues with a problem vocal can be fixed with other settings.

    Can I run auto tune by its self or do I need to run it with another program? And If I need to run it with another program which one should I go with?

      @@xfobia1 you gotta have it in a daw, depending what your tryna do will influence which you get. FL and Ableton are popular, I love logic, I believe Studio One is free.

    Nice video! Tell me please - how to make it work flawlessly when recording in logic pro x? Each time I turn on low latency mode in logic, DAW disables Auto-tune artist plugin on my vocal recording chain and make it orange color turned on on my recording channel. If Im not turning on low latency mode, I got pretty damn latency in my headphones even if my buffer size in logic settings set to 32 and low-latency mode in auto-tune plugin turned on.

    • @IanBellueMusic
      @IanBellueMusic  Месяц назад

      @@user-yi2lh4uc7b low latency is a little arbitrary in my experience. Autotune takes a lot of cpu no matter what, try just putting an instrumental track and your vocal track with only autotune in a project to see if your computer can handle low latency with autotune at all. If it does see how much you can add before it’s get oranged out.

    Can you please explain, I turned the return speed up to zero but it sounds like is it on 10 or 9,
    Meaning I want it to sound more robotic

      @IanBellueMusic  Месяц назад +1

      @@stevein99 make sure your other settings like humanize and flex are at 0 as well. If that doesn’t work, look at reinstalling or something like that, autotune is great but it’s definitely tuned things wrong or acted strange in some moments. Good luck with it!
