What I love about this is that when Alonso joins Kimi and Michael, he hugs his race engineer, shakes hands with Kimi then Fernando and Michael embrace. It just showed such tremendous respect between those two giants of Formula 1. I think Michael considers Fernando his equal because they fought each other so hard in 2005 and 2006 and Michael recognizes Fernando’s brilliance. I hope Michael is able to enjoy still the memories of his amazing career and is able to enjoy some time with his family.

If Schumi had stayed until 2008, he would won extra 2 titles. Outperformed Massa by 40 points in 2006 and Massa barely won the title in 2008.
