I'm glad I was able to help! Your editing and explanations are amazing!
Did you take into account that supposedly crondis's def drain caps at 20 and warden's caps at 30, then resets during enrage phase? From what I've been reading the bgs isn't as useful as its made out to sound in this vid.
@@Jay-lk3zv We did. This is part of why the BGS is recommended over the dragon warhammer. Further calculations with max gear and higher levels have been done ad nauseum in the ToA discord, and the general trend is that the BGS spec stays significant even in many expert difficulties. The defense cap is also increased as the boss level increases albeit at a slower rate. I will mention that Zebak does regenerate his defense quickly in the mid-200s, but I still blowpipe the first half of my kills if I hit a 30 spec. Likewise, before the Adrenaline changes, I used to Adrenaline -> BGS spec the obelisk in 245s and then blowpipe it, and so did the rest of the team.. It was noticeably better than the fang or the bowfa. Furthermore, the level 400 duo run done by Aatykon and A Cold One saw them bring a BGS and use it in Zebak and the Obelisk. Sadly, the blowpipe is ineffective on the obelisk at some point between 250 and 400. I'll admit to not knowing precisely when.
I'll also add that the downgrade from dragon darts to amethyst darts is about a ~6% dps decrease typically, but it does get even more significant against higher defense targets. Regardless, the dragon crossbow with buckler still tends to fall short of it as usual. A zaryte crossbow might close the gap, but we figured that there were bigger upgrades to focus on.
I love stumbling into my most informative clan mate
Huge props for remaking the video, in instances where other creators have done something wrong they have posted the same video with a voice over and boxes to cover any wrong information.
Really shows your hard work and commitment
Thanks, Adam!
I couldn't live with myself if I left such a crappy guide up.
Thanks man. Now I have a step by step guide, because of good luck I am in mid-tier of around 420-430 mil gear.
At over 250 toa completions and no being at a tbow yet the zcb has been a Fantastic option for favouring it just over the BofA, especially when I'm combination with adrenalin, great video to brother!
Do you use full masori as well with zcb or just use zcb for the spec only and use full crystal bowfa for primary attacks
Love this vid. Exactly what I was looking for. Just starting ToA and this is insanely helpful. Thanks!
I'd like to add additional gear/tips for Tombs of Amascut gear progression as well (primarily from personal experience).
Keris Partisan of Breaching (Blue Keris) - It's a great weapon but it is only useful for Kephri. The additional bonus is that it can be used outside of Tombs of Amascut making it a great option to slay the Kalphite Queen. There's DPS charts online showing that the blue Keris is best in slot DPS for Kephri until ~250 Invocation level, that's where Osmumten's Fang starts to pull ahead. Osmumten's Fang becomes aboslute best in slot here in Expert mode raids (300+). Granted you will have to receive the blue Keris gem from a chest reward from the raid. If you get it early, completing under 250 Invocation raids, and can afford the extra inventory slot, I recommend bringing it. Once you progress past 250 Invocation and into Expert mode, drop it entirely and camp the Osmumten's Fang.
FAQ: Fang or Rapier? The short answer is both. Osmumten's Fang sits at ~46M Grand Exchange price currently while the Ghrazi Rapier is ~58M. If you're completing under 250 Invocation raids and especially don't have a blue Keris for Kephri, and you do a lot of Slayer training I'd recommend the Rapier. If you're doing over 250 Invocation raids, you won't need the blue Keris and I'd simply get the Osmumten's Fang. You can keep or buy back the Rapier for your Slayer training or keep it for the Dehydration invocation raids (will explain later on in this post).
Dragon Dagger (DDS) - Definitely want to fit this into your inventory setup. It's currently best in slot damage on the P2 Warden core. Not only do you have 100% accuracy on the core, it always hits your max hit (PRAY PIETY) with a maximum hit of 48/48 currently in addition to the low spec cost (especially with Adrenaline Potions) and it being a 4-tick weapon. There's no contest for DPS when you're not running the Dehydration invocation. If you're running the "Dehydration" invocation you'll be banking your DDS for a hard-hitting 4-tick weapon (Tentacle, Rapier, Saeldor, Inq Mace, etc.) since you'll need to be saving your Adrenaline Potions.
Keris Partisan of Corruption (Red Keris) - The special attack, for the next hit, provides a 100% increase to accuracy and a 25% increase to the player's damage. The target hit by the special attack will also receive 25% increased damage for 10 ticks (6 seconds); the special attack must be a successful hit in order for it to take effect. However, players performing the special attack will be unable to attack for 8 ticks (4.8 seconds). As such, it is recommended to have teammates focus on the target hit by the special attack afterwards if possible. This special attack weapon is EXCELLENT in mass ToA speed runs or mass teams in general.
Keris Partisan of the Sun (Yellow Keris) - You'll definitely want to get this. This is your get out of jail free card in the raid. The special attack will fully heal the player to their maximum health and overheal players up to 20% of their base Hitpoints level. It will also cure poison, and venom, as well as restore the player's run energy and any drained stats. Unfortunately it's very difficult to complete high level ToA raids without this item. Hopefully you get this early. If you're struggling to survive, camp this as a special attack weapon.
Bandos Godsword - This should be your go-to special attack weapon up to ~450-500 Invocation levels. Defence reduction = More consistent, sustained damage. Definitely fit this in your supplies or if you're running teams, make sure at least 1 person has a BGS for boss Defence reduction.
Dragon Warhammer - This also works for Defence reduction but not nearly as accurate as BGS. This is more for Ironmen that got spooned a DwH at Lizardmen Shamans but struggling to get BGS components from GwD. Being 99 Attack/Strength, Piety, full Melee gear, and your best Defender off-hand will provide the best chances for this special attack to hit. I'd stick with the BGS if you have access to it. It is not worth bringing in crush armor switches (Dwarven Helmet, Myhical Cape, Inquisitor's Set, Tyrannical Ring, etc) to make DwH have a higher chance to hit.
Saradomin Godsword - This is a great, budget option at ~20M if you're struggling to survive and/or don't have a Sun Keris. This will heal you at minimum 10 HP and 5 Prayer Points and scales as long as you hit above 22 damage. I wouldn't necessarily use this on bosses in higher invocations since their Defence is high. But it can be good for the Warden's core, Kephri eggs, and Ba-Ba baboons (both puzzle and boss room). I would not prioritize this over a BGS though.
Best offensive special attack weapons (strictly DPS not a utility)
- DDS (Warden Core ONLY + no Dehydration)
- Voidwaker (Korasi) - Guaranteed damage 50%-150% of your MELEE max hit ~230M. This is effective on ALL bosses. If you're looking for peace of mind your specs will hit, grab this.
- Zaryte Crossbow - 110/220 damage or 137/274 with Red Keris spec active. ~410M. This is the most expensive special attack weapon. You can also use this as your primary Ranged attack weapon to save inventory space. But if you have a Twisted Bow + Masori (f) this would be used as a spec weapon. As Voidwaker has a guaranteed hit, the ZcB still hits higher but has a chance to miss.
- Dragon Claws - I call this the go-to DPS spec weapon especially coupled with a BGS. At ~90M they're excellent for the price and one of the best special attack weapons for DPS in the game. These are extremely useful outside of ToA and often used in PvP. As video states, this special attack weapon is effective in ALL boss encounters but primarily Akkha's white orb phase and the Wardens encounter. As these are a SLASH weapon where the bosses inside the raid are primarily weak to STAB. The Dragon Claws become less effective as you progress through Expert mode raids as the boss' Defence becomes higher (especially with leveled up paths). I'd say these are excellent up to a 300-350 invocation. At that point I'd look into a Voidwaker, Zaryte Crossbow, bank it for extra supplies, or pray to the RnG Gods it hits good.
Honorable mention DPS special attack weapons:
- Armadyl Godsword ~13M. I'd say this is a great, budget Dragon Claws for ToA. Hits hard and can be fairly accurate at lower invocations coupled with Defence reduction. Also you can get up 4 special attacks with Adrenaline Potion
- Ancient Godsword ~40M. Also a budget Dragon Claws with a health regeneration utility. If the spec hits, you'll gain back +25 HP after 8 game ticks. That's up to 100 health with Adrenaline Potions and 4 special attack hits.
- Crystal Halberd ~1M. The true budget Dragon Claws... This is probably the cheapest special attack weapon you can by. Being a SLASH weapon this might only be effective in lower invocation raids. Great for Ironmen that don't have access to Dragon Claws or really anything else.
- Armadyl Crossbow ~41M This could help speed up Zebak and Wardens fight if this is your primary Ranged weapon. Doubles your accuracy and chance for your bolt spec to hit. Hitting 100s with Dragon Ruby (e) bolts will significantly speed up kill times.
- Osmumten's Fang - If you have literally nothing else and/or can't afford to bring more gear inside the raid just use this. Upon successfully hitting, your next hit will be +50% more accurate in additional to utilizing the weapon's TRUE max hit when calculating special attack damage. Also, has the same special attack cost as a DDS.
8 september changes:
-You can now lower Baba and Kephri's defence with BGS/DWH specs. So just bringing a BGS is a more viable option now.
Claws will probably still outperform the BGS at Baba and Kephri.
-Shadow of Tumeken got a massive buff while inside the raid, which is great for P2 & P3 Warden.
SHADOW+ANCESTRAL+ELIDINIS now outperform TBOW+MASORI in P3.
Best to get your shadow before Masori now.
Weapon recommendations factor in gp/dpsGained ratio and the recommended gear progression. Yes, the armadyl crossbow outperforms the dragon one ever-so-slightly, but your 40M is better spent on other gear upgrades, which is why I didn't include it. You're better off sticking with the dcb until you upgrade to bowfa/tbow.
The ZCB becomes an interesting special attack option when you're on >300 Invocation Level.
Void is OK if you enjoy the fewer switches, but it's a pretty big dps loss compared to Ahrims/dhides/tormented bracelet...
I'm disappointed you disregarded the ZCB completely.
I use it at Zebak and regularly take MVP against my friends with Tbows and BowFa's. And that's while I don't even have a lightbearer yet, with lightbearer you can get off two nearly (the accuracy roll fails less than 10% of the time?) guaranteed 110 hits in a single Zebak fight, which doesn't even include the random ruby bolt specs you might get.
@@aronbouman8612 doesnt matter what happens during your gameplay, if the numbers are in favor of tbow theres no argument.
@@aronbouman8612 anecdotal evidence is no proof. Zcb has high variance due to ruby bolt RNG.
@@QuickOSRS Ofcourse it’s anecdotal evidence, that’s why I said it’s in my games. I never claimed to have done any calculations or to have proof. My entire point is that it should warrant looking into, which clearly wasn’t done for this video, yet you claim that zcb is not worth it, without having proof yourself.
And yes ruby bolts specs give variance but not so much that you cannot calculate the average dpm compared to bowfa and tbow. Lets say you fire an average of 30 attacks in a Zebak run, with two of those being specs, then you can expect an average of 3 ruby bolt specials per run. It’s just a little more effort compared to inputting stats into a dps calculator.
@@madsulrik5rs My point is the numbers haven’t been looked at, the zcb numbers have been completely disregarded.
Great video, love the editing of the setups
Good job on the video! I like the idea of having gear slapped up on screen like you did.
Thanks for the reupload. Loved the added bit about thralls and ancients
Love this! Exactly what I've been looking for
I was just looking for your video like an hour ago, and was sad didn’t find it. Thanks for reuploading it :)
I think this video vastly underestimates the power of ZCB specs against nearly every boss. At 150 it's viable to ZCB every boss, at 300 every boss but Kephri, incredibly powerful P1 P3 P4 warden especially with Adrenaline potions. It is such an important switch that I would probably include it in any setup other than a corruptor role from around the 1B price point (rebuild for tbow when possible to keep fang and maybe claws).
Do you mean just to spec the boss or completely do the kill with zcb only for zebak/warden p3 & 4 etc?
@@Destin879 purely as a spec weapon
At 230M, it has to outclass the dragon claws. I'll try to do some more tests, but in my (limited) experience, the dclaws are better, and can also be used in every room.
would of loved to see even more budget gear discussed
If you don’t have 100m you shouldn’t be raiding. The time would take so long it wouldn’t even be viable
How do you only have 3k subs? Super underrated for the quality of content, keep it up!
I'm pretty new here :D
Thank you!
Thank you for the updated numbers this is valuable information
Excellent video, much appreciated!
Beautiful vid. This is gonna be super helpful man.
Thanks!
Love the videos my guy loved your first warden video too, but HUGE miss on not mentioning ZCB.. it destroys 3 of the bosses, guaranteed 220 damage on obelisk (p1), you get multiple specs during p3, which helps with insanity modes, then p4 another guaranteed 220 damage. Legendary upgrade one of my favorites, plus it’s one of the last stops before t bow/shadow
Thanks man! I've done quite a bit of testing, but I feel the claws are generally better, in every room. Maybe only for Zebak is the ZCB>Claws.
After giving it some thought, it might start to outclass the claws at higher invocation levels (300+?), because of the raid scaling etc, I'm not 100% sure.
I’ve been testing all major special attack weapons in ToA since release.
Zebak: BGS 20+ then ZCB
• Claws are a good option but be careful of melee range
• Claws are not as effective as the defence level increases of Zebak
Kephri:
• Despite BGS having the ability to lower Kephri’s defence it noodles quite frequently due to Keohri possessing a high slash defence.
• I recommend using Osmumten’s Fang special attack. You get 4 and they’re highly accurate on Kephri.
Akkha:
• You can use ZCB when Akkha is attacking you with Magic. Easy 110 damage.
• You can use BGS during his Range phase to lower Akkha’s defence. Keep in mind he regenerates his stats faster than any other path.
• Claws are solid for the final white orb phase at Akkha. In a solo I stab Akkha with Fang then go into a claw spec. I’ll finish him off with Fang hits.
Ba-Ba:
• You can use ZCB right away for a 110 off the bat then BGS spec later. All you need to do is hit a 20+ with BGS.
• You can use BGS off the bat for a 20+
• Claws or ZCB are both effective on Ba-Ba
Wardens:
• With a dose of Adrenaline potion you can get twice as many special attacks off than normal. All you need to do is hit a 30+ BGS to cap Defence lowering.
•You can ZCB twice for that juicy 220
• You can 4-spec Claws for massive damage
• DDS on Core ALWAYS
P3:
• 30+ BGS to max lower Defence
• ZCB or Claws for massive damage
P4:
• ZCB or Claws is effective is getting Wardens down quick. I opt for ZCB to stay out of Melee range and not having to gear switch.
Honorable mentions for spec weapons:
• Keris Partisan of the Sun
• Saradomin Godsword
• Ancient Godsword
• Dragon Warhammer
• Crystal Halberd
@@unrivaledgamer1 DDS on core not worth the spec. 3-down is optimal and you can 3-down w/ rapier. Save the specs for more zcb.
If u have no money u can actually use crystal halberd. it has a str of +118 which is higher than the fang. The spec is quite good too but dont work on warden's core.
After todays (8th September 2022) update Kephri and Ba-Ba's defense can be lowered. Tested BGS at Ba-Ba and rapier absolutely slaps.
Love the way the gear was shown off here great video. I've been using Karils while learning the raid, is it worth switching to blessed D'hide?
Switching to Blessed D'Hide does grant you the ability to not have degradable armor that requires you to pay to repair and use it again but you'll be sacrificing defensive stats going from Karil's to Blessed D'Hide. If you're using too many Super Restores you could opt for the Blessed D'Hide for the slight prayer bonus increase. Also, people would go Blessed D'Hide if they cannot afford the Karil's.
how do you add a coloured border to your equipment, that would help me out a lot!
good vid mate, what would your thoughts on Fang on higher invocations on p3 warden? would it out dps a dcb there?
*I can conirm after 1 month of consistent testing at ~200 invocation. Fang is better than ACB at p3 warden, assuming you are not doing insanity
Don’t need ward with shadow, shadow is 2h
You got me there xD
Forgot to take it out
great video! thank you
You can lower defense at kephri and baba defense now as of yesterdays update so bgs isn't so bad in those rooms now
You are a bit wrong with DPS calcs, tbow is only bis at p3 warden in full masori, tbow/Arma set up loses to shadow starting at 230+ lvl raids.
shadow with how many gear switches? If I only have ancestral top/bot, tormented, cape and occult will that still out dps tbow with masori
Touch grass
@@Swan584 shadow always loses to tbow/masori, beats Arma in full ancestral/torm/cape/occult. So basically a 7way switch
The recommended weapons I stated hold in mind my gear progression. I advise tbow->masori->shadow, so by the time you get to shadow, youll have tbow&masori, rendering it useless for P3.
I shouldve stated this more clearly before going over the weapon options. Wouldve saved a lot of confusion, people asking me if dcb>zcb :(
@@QuickOSRS Oh I see. I use shadow/bofa so I guess ill stick with shadow for p3.
great video all around! dont know that it costs 900m anymore bc i have bandos zenyte jewelry full crystal/bowfa. and ahrims etc with sang for just over 500m now
but the prices have dropped drastically over the last few months. great video tho man
Ur channel is pretty underrated bro. Nice info. Anyways got a question for u. I got tbow hasta and trident. However for amour i can only afford barrows gear and i have no bandos or torso. Is using void better than rocking karils and ahrims? Also i was thinking my next upgrade either be fang or rapier wat do u think
Buy the rapier, make more money, sell rapier for fang. Void gear isn't recommended.
really iformative thank you!
Does BGS work on the final chaotic phase ? Great guide thank you man!
BGS works on P4 Wardens. 30+ spec hit will be the max you’ll be able to lower the defence.
@Kid Buu - Dragon Warhammer is not all that great in ToA. I’ve gotten lucky on Ba-Ba and smacked her for a 75 but the bosses in ToA are capped on how much you can lower their defence. DwH can be useful at Wardens P3/P4 because of the lower Crush bonus but DwH is known to be highly inaccurate. It’s very reliably on Crush style boosting gear (Inquisitor’s, Dwarven Helmet, Mythic Cape, etc) in addition to Piety and a high Attack level. BGS is far more accurate and hits high. All you need to do is hit a 20+ on the path bosses, 30+ on P1 Wardens Obelisk, and 30+ on P3/P4 Warden.
6.1b in upgrades but can't spare 70m for an avernic?
I consider avernics/defenders as untradables. Hard to include when you should buy one, as not everyone wants to invest in the hilt because you can't sell it back.
And many people already have one, so I wouldn't want to make the price for everything skewed if you own the defender already.
I'd probably slot it right after the fang, without any calculations to back it up.
Good stuff bro!
Bgs works on zebak and baba. Not sure why you said it doesn't for baba. Also, voidwaker is an amazing spec weapon in the raid.
Guide is great but outdated with Shadow buffs.
1. Now BIS at Warden P3/4.
2. 2nd place for Zebak if you have salts or heart (pre-heart+preserve into croc rush is my go to).
Also as others have mentioned Baba can have his defence lowered (one good BGS spec into claws/or even fang specs if you want to save space). So if you're using shadow make sure to use adrenaline on Kephri/Baba.
Just as a point of reference I sold my T-bow + masori setup for a Shadow + bowfa setup and have had much better results (this is only doing 300's, I imagine it only gets better at higher invos).
Edit: Bring seers ring swap for wardens/Zebak (akka if you're a god at switching but it's a bit much personally). The extra +48 accuracy for a single inventory slot makes an insane difference, haven't died on warden P4 since bringing it.
Just saw the comment below... LOL, great guide ahaha
@@tommytherunner No worries man, that's some amazing feedback! I had no idea that shadow would be that good at Zebak. Any idea how much worse is is than a tbow, with salts and no seers ring?
@@QuickOSRS It's only marginally better (without seers ring) than Bowfa, so still quite a bit worse than tbow.
anyone reading this get the shadow before tbow. its so much better and it's not even close
I wonder where the zcb would fit in all of this. Great video and the explanations are very simple
ZCB would fit somewhere in the TBow or BowFa area.
I nomrally can get 4-5 ruby procs in the zebak room. Not counting the actual spec. If you have It might as well bring the zcb. Good for a quick 110 on akkha also.
@@thccorner177 It's pretty good, but the damage calc gave the edge to claws+bowfa, or claws+tbow
@@thccorner177 ZCB is nice, it sure has it's uses if you already have one. It has crashed hard, I remember when it was north of 400M GP. I believe current price is ~240M-245M. If I had to spend 200M+ on a ranging weapon, I'm going BowFa (c). It seems to be preferred way more over the ZCB but the ZCB is accepted if the group cannot locate a BowFa + Crystal set user.
@@unrivaledgamer1 Yeah like all releases items crash. It''ll go back up. Bofa costs around 250m right now. Costs roughly 40m in crystals to corrupt unless you get them yourself.
I watched a video that BGS lowers every boss defence inside ToA including ba ba, it’s just limited.
im confused. Can you show your void setup that you had playing during the video. If you're showing you can do ToA with void, that should be the starting gear right?
Void, fury, cape switches, dsword keris dcb trident. dboots no ring
My uber budget runs. Managed 150pt solo deathless, but wouldn't recommend it.
11:38 as of i dont know when, thralls no longer make akkha teleport during the white blob phase, so summoning a zombie there is recommended
Goede video. Ik zie dat je die raid deed met void. Heb je daar nog tips voor? Ik zit op mn UIM nog niet op t punt dat ik zulrah onveilig maak etc, maar die entries voor die looting bag zou moeten lukken toch met een void set up?
Tuurlijk man. De void setup is maar een beetje slechter dan bandos etc. Moet je wel iets voorzichtiger zijn omdat je wat minder tanky bent.
My 610m gear for now:
- ranged: full crysta+bowfa / anguish / zaryte vamb
- melee: faceguard / bandos / prims / fang / avernic / tort / fero gloves
- magic: faceguard / ahrim / book of darkness / sang staff / torm bracelet
what should i upgrade next ?
thanks
Claws then virtus.
I wouldn't upgrade to ancestral or torva. As ancestral is 300+m and torva is nearly 1b I would do tbow/shadow/scythe rebuilds before getting those.
Unless you are doing tob get the tbow first then shadow then scythe. But if you are doing tob then scythe and torva is before tbow or shadow
I'd be curious how crystal bow w/set fits into these gear setups. As an iron it slaps in normals.
These calculations are done with crystal armour equipped. It definitely slaps, but tbow op 😐
hi thanks for vid! are the all calculations for blowpipe based on using dragon darts?
Yes, but with amethyst darts the order stays pretty much the same.
Some numbers would be off, like I said use dcb vs warden p2 if >220invo, using amethyst would probably make the tipping point ~200pts.
If you see this @QuickOSRS can you tell me how the voidwaker fits in with the rest of the spec weapons.
I noticed you didn't put armadyl crossbow onto the list, over the dragon crossbow, is that intentional or oversight?
Curious where in the progression you would recommend putting gp into skills. Eg unlocking augory, chinning to 99, etc?
What about camparison of voidwaker vs claws as a spec wep
Can you post your thoughts on the ZCB? theres some comments on it but you havnt said anything on why you shouldnt buy it as a spec weapon?
I'm currently testing it. If it's worthwhile, it'd only be worth for the specs. It's hard to calculate because you don't know at what boss hp you'll get another spec etc... Or says for wardens, you can carry the "wasted" 25% spec energy to the next phase in the warden fight, and regen to get a 2nd/3rd spec etc...
My impressions are claws>zcb.
Blowpipe Ahkka is better than bowfa?
Why is dragon crossbow better than acb?
Nice guide!!❤
Torture is not worth it?
Depends entirely on who you ask. Most of the people posting maxed out setups prefer the bloodfury to cut down on their food usage, people pushing as high as possible also prefer the bloodfury so that they can get more aggressive with the prayer and supply ones, and people at every other category bring either one.
Tbow > shadow?
Shadow better
@@Vivek-cp2qm #dumptheshadow
What about the zaryte cross bow?
Thank you for the info! Any advice on which setups are A. bare minimum and B. comfortable for 350 lvl TOA?
Bowfa- trident- fang+defender for solos is relatively comfy for me at 350. Faceguard, dboots, bandos top, ahrims top and bottom, and full crystal, also bring glove switches for all styles but b-gloves are probably ok to camp if you're good enough at the combat
Pick your fav spec weapon. I use bgs because no claws or voidwaker but theyre all solid options
Thank you very, much, sir!@@FyerBear
@@MonteCristo777 gl! Are you soloing?
@@FyerBear I plan to start in the next couple of weeks! :) Just wanted to know how far I might try to go with the gear I currently have.
how do you rate void setup against the budget 100m setup you suggested
What weapon would you say is best for the final boss phase 3 I have (sang staff, blow pipe, hasta) should I dragon crossbow or is bp better?
Nice vid... random question but is dragon sword the best option for 60 att builds? kephri and Akkha have been very slow for me on my Zerk
Pretty sure yeah :/ can't you use a KP with 60atk?
@@QuickOSRS 65 att req :(
Hey Man, can you remake this video with all the new items and equipment
Shadow should be the first purchase instead of t-bow...?
No need for serp or bloodfury except maybe the first practice kc's. They just eat into profit and are not needed
I would have to disagree with you on this because these items are fairly expensive and have an upkeep. Zulrah's Scales have tripled in price in addition to the blood shard being 9M-10M. You have to be able to make money to upkeep those items on top of making a profit. Entry level raids have the worst loot table so I recommend using a traditional Amulet of Fury, hone your skills and knowledge of the fight mechanics, make some GP, then start upgrading.
If I only have a DWH and not a BGS, is it worth bringing for the places you use BGS?
If you don't have bgs/claws/zcb, it's probably worth it.
@@QuickOSRS with the most recent patch they said baba and kephri can now have their defense lowered, the dwh is feeling very worth it now, I notice big differences in accuracy when I hit specs
Would you recommend upgrading from Arma to Masori OR from Bandos to Torva first?
if you can afford shadow get that first before torva or masori but if you can only afford masori or torva i would say torva
Really confused as to why you didn’t once mention the zcb? Zcb is bis at akka imo
this video has not aged well thanks osrs market lmao.
ty for the video was still good to watch for other reasons
Yeah prices are all over the place, but it's still a good general idea. Might get the fang earlier now that it's so "cheap".
i litteraly cant find any guide what bolt to use with arma crossbow
Ruby dragon bolt
No helm switch if you have crystal armour and bowfa?
is tbow at obelisk after bgs specs not good ?
and tbow at akka switches range
i know dragon dart is way more dmg but is it worth the steep price from amethyst? its like 1100 more gp per dart..
might be better to use voidwaker on kephri than claws.
What plugin are you hsing for the graphics
Just curious, how bad is full void + Amy+cape switch for 150s invo with base 85~90 on combat status?
I really feel squishy and been practicing on 100s with this simple setup, since it's less switch's.
So far it seems doable, but not great
As a massive voidfan myself, I love it and easily clear 150s with it. I think its about -10% dps in toa compared to ahrims, torm bracelet, hides and torso, so it's not particularly efficient.
Void definitely has it's spot in Raids 3. Definitely when you're in a team, learning raids 3, or are completion entry/low invocation raids. I would get Elite Void for the additional damage and accuracy increase in addition to its increased prayer bonus. It's the ultimate switch since all you have to do is swap out your helmet and cape/back slot to the next combat style. It does allow you to bring more supplies but you'll be sacrificing a lot of defensive bonuses. If you're completing mechanics properly and limiting your damage intake, Void is the way to go for the low raids. Once you get up there in invocation/difficulty I would opt for the higher gear since you'll eventually do more dps and not be as squishy.
pretty sure Tbow only shines at zeb and p2 ward. other than that shadow has a good chunk more dps than tbow calling hard as invo goes up.

How does melee with hasta compare to crossbow in the final phase? I have killed him like this a few times without much problem on 150 but haven’t bothered bringing a crossbow yet
Sorry for the late reply, I've been so busy with work...
Hasta trash at final phase, dcb will be much better.
Should update this now with updated price guide since everything is cheaper
why would you not put acb ahead of dcb?
That p4 was hard to watch you ate just about every baba hit
Do you put claws on stab/slash for each boss? As some are weaker to stab.
Claw spec always rolls against slash defence
is the dragon cross bow better than armadyl crossbow?
Hey man one video I have not seen someone make is a best invos for 150 and so on
Question I’m basically just sending it with bowfa Crystal top and bottom serpentine helm rapier b gloves bandos top and leg prims Ancestral top and bottom occult ma2 cape this has been working fine for me But I’m thinking about trying to bring enough items for each combat style
Glove switches are very nice for not much cost, if you want more switches. (Ferocious, zaryte/barrows, tormented bracelet)
@@QuickOSRS ok I have all of those just didn’t know if it would make much ok a difference I’m doing 150s now after only completing toa 4 times thanks again
Is the dwh completely useless in this raid ? Nice vid again
Pretty much. Maybe for P3 warden, but I highly doubt it.
I wouldn’t call DwH completely useless. Ineffective would be better. You could get really lucky and get a spec off but most of the time it’s going to noddle. It’s heavily reliant on Attack level, Piety, Crush bonus boosting gear (Inquisitor’s, Dwarven Helmet, Mythic Cape). BGS is far more accurate and the bosses in ToA are capped by how much you can lower their Defence. 20+ for each path, 30+ for Wardens.
Genuine Question - Why is Dragon Crossbow listed over Armadyl?
My guess is acb isn't much of an upgrade from the dcb. While dcb being 4x cheaper
why is fang such a late upgrade when its like.. 25m
Yep crap guide
I have Inquisitors mace, I don’t want to sell as it’s dirt cheap right now, but would that be an option instead of the Hasta? I can’t afford Rapier without selling the Mace
It's basically Stab weapons that are meta for ToA. Hasta > mace.
is bowfa and crystal better than rapier bandos on obelisk?
Dragon crossbow is an interesting choice, personally I've been using blowpipe for Akka/zebak/wardenP2.
So is blowpipe on obelisk and ranged at low gear on wardensP3. I picked up a bludgeon for both of those as un upgrade over the hasta. I wasn't considering ranging P3 at all without a bofa.
Been a while compare tbow and shadow
Don’t need ward with shadow, shadow is 2h
When would be ideal to upgrade from dragon defender to avernic?
350 plus
How are you only calculating a 120m increase for fang? 780m to 900? Fangs like 300+ currently?
Sell the bandos and rapier
elidnis ward is a better upgrade than ancestral pieces imo.... not the upgraded version too.
Abby dagger with avernics better than hasta right?
I believe after the update the shadow would be bis at p3 warden with sufficient mage switches. Not 100% sure on that though
Absolutely. I'd recommend getting staff before Masori now for P3.
wait bgs doesn't lower ba-ba's defence? why not? I've been using dwh on it all this time am i fkd?
Man bp doesn't seem bis at akkah wearing full arma top n bottoms with dragon darts i just fail dps checks on shadows constantly for lvl 300s. However bowfa + crystal just seems much more consistent against akkah idk what dps calculators say ive done died too many times against the shadow clones or prolonged the fight because bp just decides to noodle nonstop 0's
So yeah, Tumeken is >Tbow P3 and pillar too
Hey thanks :)
did you just forget about arma crossbow?
