I spent the last week learning TOA and this video shows that journey, I hope you enjoy and if you have any advice/tips for me to get better
at solo TOA please leave it in a comment below!
Thank you for watching!
I would recomend not using quiet prayers and instead using deadly prayers
also once you get better at the raid you go chaos first because smelling salts speed up the raid alot
hello bro excellent video I recommend you not to wear the red keris since it is only for groups in the room before zebbak I recommend you look for the water first on the left side since the colts on the left side are easier to follow and if you do it well alone You need 2 tours and you're past the fourth. I could explain more in depth if you wish. Greetings to all, I hope my comment helps you.
Great vid! I'd grab smelling salts first then ambrosia 2nd salts will naturally decrease supplies used meaning u can make it to the end boss faster and with more supplies while still having the ambrosia as a back up. I personally like to do zebak to kephri to akha to baba. My reason for this is zebak and kephri are imo easier bosses so doing them without salts first just made more sense to me. I then do akkha because his puzzle room doesn't require combat so u can save ur smelling salt for the akkha fight then immediately do baba room with the single use of salts from akkha if ur quick enough. It conserves supplies for non pro gamers like me to do it that way. I will say while there probably is a best order in the end its up to ur preferences.
Quite prayers and on a diet are free invos, should also have overclocked 1&2 on they actually make the p3 wardens easier
Hey! Some tips: Quiet prayers is usually not taken since chip damage is so bad, you can really see how much health you're losing over the course of zebak sped up even when you're praying correctly. Deadly prayers is usually the more favorable option where you would just bring an extra prayer/restore potion or two.
There is a statue at the end of the akkha puzzle room so you don't have to run back to deposit your pick.
From the helpful spirit, Life is great for new players but definitely start taking any supply path with a salt after the first two rooms because the 125 combat stat boost saves time in the rooms where you may have been taking extra damage instead. Most people do Power -> Life but Chaos -> Life also gives you salt early.
Anyway awesome vid and hope you do more toa vids for the purps
Great advice! I was going to comment as well. I run Chaos->Life every time and it seems to work really well for me
Was gonna type something out but yea what they said. (proceeds to type something out) Also overclocked 2 is a free invo 👍 Would also req doing Monkey->Bug->either croc or human doesnt matter until you turn on path lvl ups. The reasoning is you can Divine Super Combat for both the melee only rooms while using pre pots for monkey puzzle as salt matters more for range/mage than melee and saves invent space. As well BGS'ing Baba/Croc/Obelisk/Warden P3 (you can BGS bug if you want but super inaccurate) start and final phase, though they all have caps on how far their defense can be lowered (30). Also idk at 150 but if you move up in invocation lvl bowfa/bp with dragon darts is WAYYYY better for ahhka shadows than sang staff. In the monkey puzzle room you can just pray melee when it's just thralls + shaman hitting you, the shaman itself will almost never hit you.
my 150s i did overclocked 1 and 2, 3 lives, on a diet, deadly prayers, lively, double dook, then either 50 free pts with walk the path and fill out the last spots with familiar invocs or test tuff ones together like overlords feeling special. 300s where it gets wild. people be screwing themselves doing 1 life and wonder why that 10 pts isnt making the chest purple
What is quiet and deadly prayers?
Yep I was about to comment the same things. The other thing about taking salt first (almost always chaos for the adrenaline) is that it means you don’t need to bring in any stat boosts aside from the super combat. More brews/restores.
super helpful tip someone told me, you can blowpipe spec certain auto hit objects such as the jugs of water at zebak and you will max hit them and heal for a good amount off of them.
Plenty of tips here already but I'll drop some extra:
Invocs:
- You should use other invocations: swap quiet prayers for deadly prayers
Other free invocs are: lively larvae, aereal assault, gotta have faith and overclocked 2
Those will probably set you up for like 200 invoc ish, I'd honestly just recommend running at least overclocked 2 with bofa: it synchronizes the boulders with the wardens left-right-middle movement so you don't actually have to pay attention to the boulders + works out perfectly with bofa attack speed (1 attack per movement)
Puzzels:
- Mark some tiles in zebak puzzle room, you can always clear it in like 35s without taking dmg
- Don't need to solve all kephri puzzels, just run diagonally and make sure to skip the pilar remembering since it's rng and can take a while
- You can always one-down the akkha puzzle if you time your start correctly
- Most ba-ba puzzel room waves have only 1 type of minion in them so switch prayers
Demi-bosses:
- Do them in a different order (at least do akkha with salt)
- Take salts right away like you mentioned
- Spam click any time kephri dungs you to prevent being knocked into a small compartment
- Looks like you would be better off not speccing zebak
- You can kill akkha's minions while doing the memory thing
Wardens:
- Pick a tile right next to one of the windmill tiles and cross over and back instead of running around
- From that tile, click run over the diagonal lazers when they are 1 or 2 tiles away so you run skip them 100% of the time
- You can safely stand on the 2 tiles in a + shape around the dropping bombs
- Do 5 dds specs + 1 auto on the first core down, only 1 dds splat will show from the sixth spec
Gear:
- The elysian is a bit of a question mark
Welp so much for bed time
Same lmaoo
For real lmao
I was just laying down smh
Haha me right now
no sleep
For the most part, you really should be taking Power first and then Life second.
Also, its best to leave Akkha as your 3rd room so you'll have salts to boost your stats.
Na, not if it doesn't have adrenaline. 7 months late I know, and probably some new strats and whatnot since then, but it's better to go through Akkha and Baba first, due to Kephri and Zebak using next to no supplies. Gives you a lot of salts + adrenaline for the Wardens, with Life usually giving 2-3 ambrosia.
@@MCshadr217 Ideal order is typically ZK-AB while learning and then BK-AZ as a standard once you have learned the raid a bit better (with some adjustment based on WTP). Range/mage get much bigger dps boost than melee from salts compared to other boosting methods, so you do melee rooms early with scb and save inventory space by not needing other pots. There are other factors like potential to cause resets and average supply usage that factor in as well. Doing akkha early is a pretty bad idea unless you have issues with akkha specifically and risk wiping there. Once you learn it though, it's a lot better to fight him with salts fully boosting you in all three styles.
I loved it, few tips for speed ❤
1.Bgs for Zabek, warden obelisk, and p3 warden
2. Change the path so you have smelling salts for akkha. I go Zabek, Kepri, Akkha, and baba
3. Replace all these for brews/restores. Divine, anti venom (can freeze those monkeys as they come out), torm bracelet
I would say change the left click option on your supplies to "Resupply", then you only need one of each potion in your inventory.
After drinking a few doses of brew you can just left click the bag and it refills your brew.
Really? So ur saying if u sip the brew in ur inv down to 1/4 sips left and u click resupply it'll pull from ur gift backpack to bring ur brew back to 4/4?
@TheCryptical yeah it'll just take 3 doses out of a brew in your bag
@@timoh21 that is amazing and could have saved many failed runs while I was fiddling with the pouch mid combat ty for the info!
@TheCryptical no problem! Yeah trying to open the supply pouch on wardens was such a hassle, this makes it way better!
Yo that’s wild haha, you learn something new everyday. Thanks man 😂 I’ve ran over 200 toa’s and never knew this 🥲
Here's a couple tips i've picked up which really makes 150 raids a breeze
1) I only bring about 2 brews and 4 SRs (just in case - if I don't use some I keep em and use em in the next raid) and 2 sips of SCP and ranging pot for the first 2 rooms.
2) I always go power for the 3rd and 4th rooms and life for the final boss as I still have an extra salt and a half for the final boss (1 salt dose lasts me through akka and zebak)
3) I prefer deadly prayers over quiet prayers because chip damage sucks ass
4) 66% supplies is more than enough with the pots I bring (and the amount you brought in your run is definitely way more than enough) and as you get better you really use less supplies overtime
5) I do Baba -> Kephri -> Akka -> Zebak (so I can use salts for Akka and Zebak)
6) I noticed in the Kephri puzzle room you did an additional puzzle after finishing the pillar shooting one, you can actually just cross over and move on to the next tier of puzzles before moving on again and completing the memory one to end the room (on that note, use the TOA plugin on runelite if you can as it makes this room so much easier - on avg kephri puzzle room should be a sub 1 min room)
I'm definitely no expert but 150 raids can really be a breeze and I'm sure you will get better and better as you keep going!
u dont have to do all of the puzzles for keph, just take the passage and go to the next puzzle diagonally, always take power first so you can salt for the last 2 rooms and warden as well
TOA is fucking amazing - thank you for being one of the few content creators to reciprocate that.
Just some niche things,
With the invocations you had on right now, you can actually do 300 (Experts) with little to no difference, though those difference being a little less resupply, Akkha memory test being faster, and Wardens being faster and punishing mistakes harder.
Power is always taken for salts on first room follow by life
Can Change left click to withdraw-1 on supply pouch
You can wear full crystal for baba monkey room and just switch main weapons (Staff, Blowpipe, Fang| Also make sure to focus shamans )
Baba Boulder, for less then 350 invocation, you can just switch only BoFa to one hit the boulders
Baba Boulders can also be Blowpipe spec for full healing (due to 100% accuracy and guaranteed max hit)
Baba Boulders can also be one shot with blowpipe depending if you've salts/rigour/ and or range gear on
Akkha Puzzle room, with your mining lvl can be down in one shot!
Akkha shadows can just be melee to death with fang (higher invocation, 350+ recommend blowpipe) for QoL, but beside not butterflying, perfect
ToA plugin trivalizes kephri puzzle room (auto solve and reminders on orders), also you only need to do 3 puzzles (First puzzle, then go through the shortcut and head east to do the next puzzle, then shortcut skip on the middle pillar to solve the last memory puzzle)
Obelisk can be fanged down for QoL
Wardens after obelisk, the flying elec skulls, have a safespot in the 4 cardinal directions (N, S, W, E) for 2 tiles making a big + to stand on.
For getting the 2 Down on core, 5 DDS spec then hit with either BGS/Fang/Normal DDS for the first down. 2nd Down DDS spec and camp the DDS to finish the 2 Down! You do have to basically immediately hit the core to get the 2 down, but will save maybe a minute or two
Wardens P3 Always hits Left, Right, and then Left and Right and will always restart this pattern after skulls unless you've insanity (which instead of resetting will instead go next in the pattern, I.E if it hit right, it'll then hit the left and right side.
Im probably missing some more helpful tips or am being lazy, but honestly its only pathing, movement, and Bandos GodSword or DClaw Specs keeping you down from getting sub 26 minutes on 150's! (Note, BGS can only lower the defense to a certain degree, but generally beside akkha can be reduce by at least 20 and the obelisk 40, P3 Warden 30 and p4 warden by 60, saving even more time!)
A few time savers,
1. I'd recommened if you have runelite to turn on the ToA plugin, makes kephris puzzle room take 50 seconds to a minute on avg.
2. After killing kephris minion during his intermission phase, use the blow pipe to kill the swarms, its always a hit and can reduce the shield he gets down to half hp
3. During Zebak if you get skilled enough you can do whats call a tile skip on the waves. You stand left or right, depending on the wave and make sure to have run on, of the wave and once the wave is one-ish tiles from you, you can click two tiles away in the direction of the wave and you'll skip right past it. (I'd only do this if you've got it consistent and if you'd have to run nearly to the back of the room to get through the wave...it's also useful if you're running walk the path and zebak has high lvl paths.
4. You can barrage the croc in zebaks room that spawns before going for the second water jug which can make the room last 50 seconds. Also if you stand on the tile right next to the side of crocidle statue that shoots out the spikes right after it shoots the spike or before you can basically just click on the waterfall and you will skip every other tile. Basically skipping all the spikes. Just need to make sure youre not running into the poison. This is the best way to mitigate dmg in this phase.
5. If doing solos, I would turn on the "Feeling Special" invocation for akka, as it speeds up the memorization attack ultimately speeding up the fight.
6. The challenge room for akka. Line up all the mirrors except for the one right in front of the light beam being shot out. Once ready place the mirror one tile away, correct the direction, and after the beam is shot off push it in the direction of the beam. This way you can run to the pillar before the shield dissapears. If you have 99 mining you will be able to one phase it saving a solid minute of time.
7. When learning 150s-300s survival first speed second. Yes counterintuitive, but if you are dying or leaving raids more often than completing them you're wasting time. Try to get to a point where the first helper supply you get power -> life. having 2 salts allows you to use 1 salt for the final 2 paths greatly speeding up those kills, and then you've got 1 salt left for 2 attemps at the final boss. Salt is king, as you can brew without ever worrying about restoring after.
Also if you have menu entry swapper, swap the supply bundle to withdraw with on left click. This way you can organize the supplies to interchange brews/restores/other healing/prayer items. This way if you run low on supplies, you can just spam left click and fill your inventory with supplies during the last fight.
I already know the out come, 10 hours of loot. That's about 200k, a run on average. Some 400k, some 40k, and def no unique, except maybe another thread you don't need
At lower invos, masori with bp (amethyst) is better than Bowfa. But if you plan on keeping bowfa and plan on sticking to low invos, use the bowfa on baba. During his boulder phase, you can shoot a boulder, shoot baba, shoot boulder, shoot baba. You get 1.5 to 2minute kills that way and get back to back boulder phases. Use BP on Akka shadows.
At the end of the day though, you're completing it, so use whatever you like best
Dude I had no idea you could simply shoot baba in between boulder shots! ty!
@@Augystys you're welcome! It works great at lower invos, definitely falls off in experts! Also, don't attempt this with boulder dash on haha
@@The261ride Boulder dash makes it too quick for double shots eh?
@@Augystys it does. But if you do something like a 3 man, you can have two hit boulders while one hits baba the whole time
@@The261ridevery true! Thx for the tips man
Its some of my favourite content!
You’ll learn so much as time goes on and you up your levels.
Butterflying at akkha, red x’ing baba, 32 second croc puzzle room. Optimal tiles to stand on for the warden P2 :)
I recently got my 500 kit and it was a blast to so do so now i run “money” 400’s :D
Proud of you for finally making yourself learn TOA (: Congrats man
There's way too many things to point out what you should be doing 😂 this video is a crime, my eyes were bleeding all way through, thank you for that
I have been waiting on this video since I first attempted ToA, thank you Mr No Sleep!
During Kephri's puzzle rooms, you only have to do 1 puzzle per side before the matching puzzle you don't have to do both rooms :P At 4:48 you can see the door is open!
Good on you for stepping out of your comfort zone man! A great series would be a 10 hours or whatever number of kills at different bosses series. 10 hours of tob and toa and each gwd and nex etc and zulrah etc
You could literally use the runelite high scores kill count boss list as a reference and go through that list, 10 hours at each one.
😊Hey, I’ve seen lots of helpful feedback on your runs here, most of it is great.
My unsolicited advice is this: Invocations scale your rewards nonlinearly. Pushing yourself to get every invocation you can handle means a much much higher reward. For example, 150 level gets 2% chance of unique but a 375 level will not be 2.5x more than a 150 level, but more like 5x (10% the way I run it, depending on performance).
There are some invocations that are noob traps. They seem ok, but do not scale well. Quiet prayers is fine at 150, but quickly becomes a nightmare as you scale up your raids, costing you much much more supplies. It’s not worth it.
On the other hand, walk the path provides a slight challenge to the later rooms, making order important, but otherwise is a free 50(!!!!!) points.
❤Welcome to TOA! I’m glad you are enjoying it. It’s very very grind-able. Love the content.
Been looking forward to this grind! Great video as usual!
In the path of Scabaras you don't have to complete all 4 puzzles! Pick which to start with then crawl through the hole and do the next one through the door, then jump the pillar and you can do the last puzzle!
Took me about 40 raids to realize this myself ;(
@@nickp3836 same lol
also once you get good at the puzzles(or just get the ToA plugin) Try to avoid to obelisk puzzle so you dont take any damage in that room
I've never done raids because of my Stats but now I'm getting to the point where I feel I'm ready to give Toa a shot.
I would reccomend using Deadly Prayers>Quiet Prayers as the chip damage adds up a lot over time. As for supplies you almost always want to go Power-->Life or Chaos->Life so you have salts. Salts give bigger boost to range and mage as well so leaving Akkha for last is nice. Also don’t need to bring a range pot as you can either pre pot range for zebak or if u start Baba use salts for Zebak/Akkha. Same with anti venom you can bring a sanfew to save an inv slot
Heads up in solos for kephri puzzle room you only have to do 2 of the puzzles not all of them! For example you could have done pillars and the tile one! Then run to last part and you can run back and fourth
Go to RuneMarkers and copy the tiles for all of the TOA rooms. You'll never take damage again when doing the first Zebak room. Promise:) Love the videos sir. Keep it up!
Change the (Shift-leftclick) option on the spirit bag to "refill". That way you never have to go back into it. As long as you have stuff in your invent
love your videos dude. happy you're still doing what you do.
Advice:
1) For zebak you can very easily camp rigour and prayer flick the mage/range attacks timing it to just before the object hits you put prayer on wait until 0 splat then turn off this is super helpful on saving ppots especially at higher invos
2) There are tiles at warden P1 where you do not have to kite him around the room he will not move being a "melee safespot" as well as making it easier to dodge special attacks I recommend looking them up/asking the toa community!
3) I think going in a group above your current skill helps soo much to be confident by pushing for higher invos and learn new strats after I did this I was so much better at normal raids and achieved new pbs because of it and got to meet some new people
I get excited every time I see a MrNoSleep video
If no invos are on for akkhas attack style, it rotates attack styles according to your overhead prayers from right to left. Magic
Good job learning, I've been trying to get better at it myself recently and it's a lot of fun! My advice is to start practicing with all of the warden invocations activated except for Insanity, it's good practice and once you get that down the rest of the raid seems easy in comparison.
Hey, just wanted to say that for Zebak’s puzzle, there are safe tiles between where the spikes hit. With tile markers you can only worry about the acid, essentially makes it a 0 damage room :)
ye untill you get a acid in the way 10 times and say fuck it and just take the damage lol
What I do is I pre-pot divine super combat, range, 2 anglers, imbued/saturated heart, venom, and stamina pot and I do the baba room first. You take minimal damage in the puzzle room, and like you said in your video you can blood barrage the clumps of spawned minions and heal up relatively easily without having to dip into your brews and ruin your divine pot boost. Your pre-pots should last you till you actually fight baba where you can re-pot using a normal super combat and range potion (don't forget to make sure you're boosted your range as you may not one shot the boulders falling down on you).
2nd I do the Kephri room and you only have to do 3 of the puzzles, one from each section where you always end on the matching puzzle. You may encounter some damage against Kephri but you're not divined so that's fine.
By the end of the Kephri fight you should have plenty of brews to deal with Aka and Zebek so I usually take Power first and then life/chaos depending on how much food I have or which ever has the ambrozia. Using a smelling salt against Aka is game changing and helps save so much time.
As for Zebek there's lots of videos out there where you can consistently get 32 second times on the puzzle where you avoid as much unnecessary damage and it's not too difficult to learn how to do.
As you said and showed you get better with the mechanics of each monster with each completion but cutting down the time on your raids will help get you more completions and if you use more invocations as you get better should lead to more loot as well.
Rate for a purple at 150 is about 1/51 assuming you are deathless. Where you die greatly effects this. Bumping up to 300 is a 1/25.
The most common accepted order for the rooms zebak>kephri>akkha>baba. You should always be picking power on your first spirit. Use 1 dose of salt before akkha, if it runs out for baba puzzle room you can use another dose here and it should carry all the way through baba. That will leave you with a dose for p1/2 and then your last dose will be taken sometime in p3.
Running solos is technically the more difficult option until you get into really high invocations that make that more difficult. For each additional person it adds 40% to the raid so technically the bigger the team the easier. I highly recommend finding a small clan willing to teach and raid with you. There are also plenty of plug ins and tile markers that will make things alot easier.
What noteworthy plug-ins are there? I've got a Zephri puzzle room plug-in, and radius markers. But the radius markers only work correctly for Akkha (I copied them from a friend) and there's not much help elsewhere. Thanks and good luck.
Don’t do Akkha 1st or 2nd, do it 3rd so you have your salt for it.
Right before bed, perfect!
Aye happy you got some toa kc, I do toa mostly in groups with my cc but my first 150 solo I got a ring and a gem, got the thread kc after but kinda stopped ever since due to irl, slowly returning and making a come-back to toa, hope you get that thread and a few purples to go with it next time you do toa mate, great vid as always ofc much love
Well you run on 1 side of wall to the fountain to fill up then the way back you go the other side, it’s about when ur character runs it skips a tile. If you look the heads that shoot the spikes out are on every other tile .
It's easier to go Croc, Scarab, Warrior, Monkey choosing power then life :D
Also this is the first time I've ever see your total xp, its absolutely insane man holy shit
Great content bro! I love your videos. Your the reason I'm back on old school again after so many years. 😁
I recently learned TOA got my first purple, sadly was a ring but I'm starting to get good at it fairly consistent 190's best of luck I hope you do another vid on TOA.
Love the content brother. Really stoked for this one.
With that gear you can def do over 300s, hoping for a 10 hours of expert toa!
You make really amazing videos man, separate from these being OSRS videos, you're just an amazing RUclips content creator! Thank you for your uploads ❤
For zebak room (water/tree), there are paths that are safe, but mainly: Red click the tree after you fill the jug, and you won’t take any damage as you path to the tree from the wall spikes. For solo, this means you can finish the tree in 2 laps.
U still gotta watch out for the green orbs tho
That is not how it works noob. Red clicking the tree does not prevent the green or the spikes from hitting you.
hype video for sure. i cant wait to see your progression at toa :)))
Was really looking forward to this one! How much did you enjoy the learning process? I've only ever done raids for the quest cape, so entry mode ToB is my only experience, but also want the divine rune pouch!
Lmao you chads doing all the quests in the game just to stand around skilling, go raid dude
hey mrnosleep, its been 2 weeks since u uploaded this but I recently got myself to toa over this weekend and oh man it was a lot of fun. went from 1hr 50's to 30 min 230's and got 2 drops in 14 kc. ring and chaps. I know you'd refuse a split so i already spent all the money. hope you make another toa vid before long
Toa was the first and only raid I've learned and honestly was motivated to do so watching uim loki xD and it took awhile for my first purple now I tend to do duo/trios
You can save a lot of time and resources if you do Zebak, Kephri, (then you'll do chaos pack) Ahkka and Baba with salts. I personally sip a divine ranging potion and eat an angler, and sip an anti before in. I bring 3 brews and 4 Restores for a 200 solo. I also have much worse gear than you. There are also TOA plugins that make that Ahkka fight much easier, and shows you his fighting style. Also, it will solve some puzzle rooms for you such as Kephris puzzles, which you only need to do 3 parts of. You do one and move diagonally down the line. IF YOU WANT THE THREAD@@@~~~@@@ it is only a 1/10 drop rate at 0 invocations. So I'd grind some of those till you get it. At Baba's puzzle room you can freeze the venom ones and range them so the venom isnt needed. Hope this wasn't so long you ignored. Love the content brotha keep it coming. I'd like to see you do more raids including more of these and Cahmbers!
gameplay hurt me this time. lol.
So there are tiles for the Crondis puzzle room that youll get 32-38 second room.
When going Crock, Kephri, Akkha, baba, youll need to take salts with adrenaline at your first supply drop.
Turning on All invocations at wardens except insanity at Wardens will make it go by faster.
Turn on proving yourself with Akkha and get used to faster explosions. This will speed things up greatly.
Bring blood spells for monkey room. and learn priority.
Make sure you have your switches ready for each room especially wardens and the dragon dagger spec with adren.
Salt order: akkha room, baba room, wardens p1, wardens p3.
hope this helps!
This one was long awaited, good stuff king
as an iron, watching you leave those brews you dropped at 6:10 behind kills me
You mentioned TOB there at the end, would love to see some tob content! great vid again
no way you did 10 hours of ToA without me you ziggy!
You can basicaly do warden fight p2 without running around the room by standing in the down right corner of the room. In kephri fight you can get the melee spawn stuck in between shit piles by having the 2 first piles coming from the corners closest from the spawns. Baba fight you can blowpipe spec the boulders for big heals. Pray to get that yellow crystal as soon as possible its op af.
instant like on the vid sir but im wondering do own like max gear?
i really thought u would have after all these vids this an honest quastion. hav the best day !
brother at keph u only have to do 2 puzzles when soloing
I feel like the days when MrNoSleep uploads are always GREAT days.
This is the perfect example of using the wrong formula but getting the right answer lol
Did a lot things that made the raid more difficult on yourself but finished anyway
Great video!
I'm excited for this one.
for 300+ Experts, are ancients better or arceuus for thralls?
Hey man all love just a tip, you don't have to stand on akkhas lights just the quadrant of the room they show up in, also bgs is pretty helpful for zebak, baba and the obelisk at the wardens, just makes bowfa hit more often in general where you use it, it's not neccesary but can be nice
If you want to run some Duos ever feel free to ask me in game I don't mind helping you out

Brother this is a while ago and you might've learned it by now, but take 15 minutes and chill in the zebak puzzle room. Every one of the 4 path things have a route you can take and receive 0 damage as a result while just running through em when you learn the cycle and time it right. Can be taking like 1-2 brews worth of damage like that on something that's free if you learn it. Even though you can still do experts and have plenty of supplies, it's kind of important for things like not wasting your pre-pots since taking dmg and having to brew will drop your stats which isnt ideal.
Damn usually I wait until I'm driving to listen along but I haven't seen a 10hr video on this activity yet
Okay man you have inspired me. Im going to try a 150 after work
Also stop running away from the warden after the obelisk is down. The Eastern Warden doesn't chase you, he stands in 1 spot unless you drag him around.
I'm an iron man and finished toa yesterday at 781 expert kc doing 415s. got 5 staffs over 8bill in loot.. Learn red x and butterflying well go far my dude
Need a 10 hours of Nightmare bosses
10 hours of falador party room
10 hours of tob is a must!
okay elephant on the room: Always take power first beacuse SALT is important for you in general, helps with bosses (which helps with akkha and warden obvious reasons) unless you REALLY need life's resources
2nd: my recommendation for path is krondis, Kephri, then take power and think which room is lvl 2 (if u have walk the path invo), then go to other last one. Best point path is Baba --> Kephri ---> Take power for salts ---> Akkha ---> Krondis
3rdly: Always have bandos godsword when going for ToA unless you're learner and dont do 150 invos. BGS is important for ToA so you could do one spec from bgs and switch to range gear on krondis, bgs at baba and swap to fang and defender, it would make big difference in boss fight without taking the chomping dmg
Blowpiping the pillars for kephri puzzle room.. ugh I need to look at more guides lol.
I just started Toa and haven't left in a week.😅 Wish I started sooner myself.
A couple things, first of all plugins.
Radius markers gives akkha a colour according to his current attack style which makes the room alot easier. Then theres better HP highlight, helps with all the rooms as certain mechanics trigger at set percentages. And theres the Tombs of Amascut plugin that has some auto puzzle solving abilities and quality of life stuff. Also when u get better u want to take power and then life. The salts will speed up the rooms massive which also requires u to use less food. ❤
Cant seem to find "better Hp highlight" does it go by a different name?
@@Coolzombiesg opponent information, put it on ‘both’
@@Frenegres ahh thats what they were talking about, thanks!
I usually just wait for the morning while taking the morning dump to watch the vids but you uploaded early today 😂
Have you ever tried going for the infernal? You do all other content, you could do it for sure!
Yeah I failed ToA twice trying to use the blowpipe. It sucks hard. You're penalized hard if you can't switch between moving and healing + attack rapidly.
ive done like 3 toa but i suck at it. the funny thing is i only want the untradeble thread to make life sorta easyer but its frustrating to get.
but if it can take 20 runs and still not get it... honestly i don't know ... do i even wanna try get it ? or keep being disappointed. I'm not worried about stuff like masori coz i can just farm for it. but i cant "just" get thread .. i have to get lucky
Akha always starts attacking with melee then range then mage and repeat. So if you look at the prayer book you go from right to left. Easy to remember. 👍
Mr no sleep, great vid!!! More Luck on the next time...
First room has a path each corner that skips the spikes only have to dodge green i can send you a pic or show you. I have em marked
Group splits is gonna be better for drop chance. The more damage done > the better chance for a drop. The more people > the more health bosses have. Difference between solo 150 and 4 man 150 is something like 20% greater chance at a purple
Extremely unlucky you didn’t get the thread , once u get to 15 kc it turns into a very common drop like I’m wanting to say like a 1/3 so keep going for it you’ll get it very soon
Looking forward to see you doing more raids!
Man that Raid was hard to watch haha. Gl Mr no sleep
There are a lot of little changes you can make to greatly improve your qol and experience at toa. I read a few good tips in the comments section, but I think raiding with an experienced person/group would help more. I'm sure you will be doing 10 hours of experts in no time. Also take off quite prayers
10 hours of solo experts whennnnnnn
Hey I just saw on the GE that gout tubors are going for over 600k each. 10 hours of Tai bwo Wanna clean up?
Every time he says “baba” I think of king condor saying “bop! bop!”
No shot you’ve never done tob..
Yo, what are the visual settings he has in game? I’ve seen streamers with it, and I don’t have that setup on runelite. Can somebody help a brother out?
Deadly prayers > quiet prayers.
BGS good especially if you range zebak and P3/p4 Wardens
It was so amusing watching someone completely new to the raid again 😂 gz
so im a noob on a gim account and i consistently get under 30 mins on 150s in kinda rags gear, definitely has to do with what invos you have on.
Was going to post some tips but looks like most of the commenters got to them! Just remember OSRS your offense is a better defense! GL on the next 80 KC!
i need a good 300 and what path to run even with shadow i can seem to get a solo 300 completion baba puzzle room destroys me
