@@GrandpaWazi hey, the car is doing great. Just passed 11k miles. No problems at all. No tick, trans issues. I have the Whipple house warranty so I haven't gotten a Lund racing tune. I would in a minute if it didn't void my warranty. Very pleased with the car. I have a C8 on order and may sell it. It is a great vehicle

Hey Josh so far so awesome.. over 4400 mi and car is performing great.. had 2 tuning updates. Everybody this car, yes the one in the video is every bit as fun as it looks..Lebanon Ford and company is the best..

Josh, great video. Chandler's videos are very good. Your work is really enjoyed. You hit the big buttons we are all wondering about. When I watch a review and there is an acceleration example I have never seen a car especially stock tuned setup cause anyone to pull back so hard. The sense of speed really came through.. great job hanging on Hannah, your comments were great too. Lastly Josh you are around some of the world's fastest mustangs. Car is still doing great. Have 5600 miles on it. This thing will make you smile.. It's weird. The harder I push my right foot the bigger the smile..recommend the package highly, best bang for the $$$

Update on this car. The car is happily enjoying a great summer in the PNW. Have updated a few things that have made the car different. I added the following: GT350 wheels/Tires, Steeda Adjustable shocks and dual rate competition springs, steed a IRS bushing/lockout kit. Steeda K brace. 50th anniversary Black Brembo front Brakes/rotors Leather premium front seats and window tint. This car is a total blast to drive it has 4634 mi, I'm into it for $47k with add-ons. Whipple has sent me 2 upgrades on the tune. Josh has given me excellent customer service. The car has been flawless. I am happy with the current performance with the warranty. I am enrolling in a local driving school that teaches you in your own vehicle.. Did a 0-60 in 3.8 just goofing around. Have a kindle and blue tooth Dongle, downloaded Torque so watch all the functions and can data log. The best $32 I've spent. I am extraordinarily happy with the car. I work on the car with a local mechanic. If you have one of these whipple supercharged cars I have fabbed up oil catch cans for both the passenger and driversside. These are discreetly mounted and are clear so you can see exactly how much oil it uses. It seems like quite a bit, 3-5 ml after 25-100 miles after spirited driving. They will be available shipped for $210. Pictures to follow.. Couldnt take the ugly and expensive catchcans. Rock on Josh, Chandler and Hannah at Lebanon Ford. This car is way stronger than the video..

Have you guys compared these Whipple's to Paxton's NOVI 2200SL supercharger? I heard those things were producing the highest numbers...but you can't always believe what you read. I'm trying to figure out the best option for me. I've already got my 18 Premium GT so I have to add the charger separate and I'm currently researching my options. When is Saleen releasing a supercharger for the 18-19's? Thanks and keep up the good work.

At 7:18 you're a brave man. I wouldn't be smashing this thing on street tires. You could've easily lost it and went right into that telephone pole. This car is begging for drag radials. Excellent display of the whipple power on the gen3s either way.

Update on the car..The car is running great. It has 11k miles. Upgraded steeda Suspension. No problems. Oil change every 5 K. Throughly warm it up before you peddle it. Very happy...

Now I’m sad! I own a 2017 Roush from this dealership (Lightning Blue) but I have the 670 HP. Now I want this 800 but honestly I love the quietness of the Roush. Real sleeper. And yes the price is true and YES I’m from out of state!

I've had a few Whipples and Roush units. The Roush units underperform while the Whipples over perform. Even a few friends that were Roush guys are now Whipples and much happier. I also noticed this is a base car, no drive modes, no active exhaust. Which gears did you get in it? And I sure hope you upgraded the rear halfshafts, the weak link in many rwd platforms when adding more than an extra 100-200 hp and tq.
Hey, the car has the 3.15 stock 10r80 rear end. I did OPG's and not doing quarter mile stuff. If I put it in sport the car drives fast. Use the paddle shifters and am having a blast. 3400 miles on it. X-pipe, gt350 wheels and tires and Steeda IRS Lockout.. will do coul overs next..

Do you guys swap out the oil pump and crankshaft gears? Or just send the cars out with the stock gears?
The OPG/CS can be upgraded if customers want for extra.

what does it mean when you say "create a lockout" when you're talking about mod's for drag strip in the car? I understand oil pump gears, springs, 1/2 shafts and tires.....
Rear suspension lockout to avoid wheel hop.

Demons where made and geared for 1/4 mi duty, has list to many lesser powered cars in rolls online all over and Demon only tops 166-168. Gearing of course.

What gear ratio is the Stang using.
Factory Mustang GT 10 speed is 3.15. If you order the Performance package, you get 3.55 gears, 19" Black Aluminum wheels, P255F/P275R/40R19 Summer tires, a performance rear wing, oversized Brembo brakes, and suspension & chassis tuning ($3,995 option). You can also skip the performance package and just get 3.55 gearing but I can't remember how much that cost...somewhere around $900 I think.
I bought my 18 premium already would it be dumb to now go to the dealer and add the supercharger? I should have went with the 40k deal...
Why 18 perm is great car, if u want more power add the supercharger, that is if 10 speed auto, not as sure if u got the 6
Not dumb, just means you weren’t properly informed before you bought. I have a 670 HP setup from this dealership and it’s the real deal

Did you guys change the half shafts? Cause if not they will break in less than a week.
they’ll be fine. only time you’ll run into problems if you go the strip and get some sticky ass slicks on there. obviously from a dig with sticky ass tires at the strip it’ll snap them like toothpicks. but on the street i don’t think it’s a concern especially from rolls

Ashwin Koshy Roush with the 727 toon keeps the factory warranty and Roush warranty is same 3 yr 36k, the problem is most people want want to keep factory tune so there for void the warranty. Not to long ago the dealerships would/could void your warranty just for Bring your car to the drag strip. Now I am not as sure Spence the big 3 are advertising and having drag strip modes ect

That’s a mean mustang! It seemed like you were suggesting that you could spend 40 k and compete with a 70k hellcat... I have a few questions,what is the cost of the whipple setup with larger throttle body,do you still have a full bumper to bumper warranty like a hellcat or demon has with an extended warranty option? How do you only spend 40 k when a 2018 5.0 10 speed equipped close to a hellcat trim level is over 50k before the whipplecharger and install.
I went to their web site and the $39,995 is the starting price which is the base gt w/ 6 speed manual and the whipple sc. If you want other options, it'll add to the cost.

convex this is the best deal base, most people will want options and cost will go up, but if u want the 40k base just order it!
Not quite. But close. The base car has 727-745 hp. A few other mods like exhaust, rear half-shafts
This car is brutal, seems like you need the 10spd so the base price of 4ok is a teaser of sorts. My understanding is the GT manual trans is not stout enough for this power. Not to metion the way this thing hits you want both hand s on the wheel. Also keep in mind you need to upgrade a bunch of stuff to really handle the power for more then just scary roll on runs on back roads atb3 /4 throttle. Like wheels and tires and suspension tweaks, half shafts etc. Also I think like The ZR1 and other high horsepower cars this thing will get heat soaked if you run it hard for long on a hot day. Its not designed to have this much power. HOWEVER. .. If you just want a fast car for cheap it is an awesome deal . Plenty of people will be happy even with the base just doing hwy pulls and lighting the tires for miles trying go get a holeshot. I would take the base car with the 6spd ( hopefully it doesng turn to jelly) just as an amusement park ride wighout trying to race anything that can hook up or has a fast shifting transmission. Its still gonna be 40k worth of a pisser. Especially looking stock.

The car is like most GT's. You hit the fun peddle and your range drops. If your commuting or cruising it's 23 to 26 mpg.. pretty cool.. I was surprised on the mpg
Just tracked my gt18 yesterday and axle oil temp engine oil and trans oil reached the limit. I'm worry about the over heat on track(roadcourse). What you think?

exactly. this guy is crapping all over factory engineered cars (hellcat/demon) but they were designed from the factory to handle the stress. plus, the demon has suspension programs for dragging and a trans brake oem.

To be fair, the transmissions in the GT(MT82-D4) are blowing up left and right. The shifter forks are going out so fast that the parts department has them on back order.
They will ship these cars anywhere in the US to YOUR Dealer.

You mean 401A package (12" LCD dash) and it is a $2,200 factory option...and I have no clue why anyone, including the guys at Lebanon Ford, would EVER order one without it. Its a night and day difference compared to these old analog setups. I LOVE my 18 GT Prem and I'm soooo glad I made sure it had that option. Why does Ford even offer those old gauges??

Stock internals on a coyote internals is a 1k to many vids of it to argue.
Danny Myers i agree, ive seen some mean coyotes pushing 1k hp on stock internals with a conservative tune.
Get this build on a pp2 with the auto trans.
Do you feel that the transmission can handle all this power effectively? I don’t know if Ford designed it with enthusiast modding their cars in mind but 800 HP has to be quite a handful for this car. I never owned a high performance vehicle so I’m not to knowledgeable on transmission and how they hand different power outputs but I’m curious if you can consistently thrash this thing and not have to worry about things breaking. Also don’t superchargers improve fuel economy if you aren’t on it all the time?
Hey Dylan, I think it depends on your definition of thrashing. I use Torque Pro to monitor various systems, my trans temps are always wnl... So far so good but I haven't thrashed it either.

Of course it doesnt feel like it is supercharged cruising. Blowers have had bypass valves for years. Thats old news and common technology.
