(HD) Super Clear 'Ruth' Automated Announcements at Shrewsbury

A compilation recorded over a few days prior to more stringent regulations on travel came in of the Automated Announcement system at Shrewsbury, provided by ATOS and voiced by Ruth Mitchell. Also featured are a few additional announcements from the control room at Cardiff about COVID-safe travel and security, by Eryl (Glyn) and 'Canton Woman' respectively. Some announcements are repeated more than once, but this is true to life. I have only removed a few, of which were interrupted by the station staff or other trains. The original recordings remain property of ATOS Ltd. and I hereby declare them to be as such. Recorded on my Samsung Galaxy S20.

Really good recordings of my favourite announcer! You did well to record ‘A road vehicle colliding with level crossing barriers’ and the Cambrian bus announcement. ‘This train will not be calling at DOVEY JUNCTIONNNN’ but will call at all the other stations that are currently closed on the Cambrian Coast 😂. Nice!

I want to record more like this, really clear, my best bet would probably be to pick quiet hours and be near a speaker in the waiting room on platform 3?

Try putting your phone into the speakers themselves on the platform ;)
