      Cesare Vesdani no it was not. Earth is only 6,057 years old. The ice age started right after the great flood and we are still recovering. There is no global warming, but instead we are simply exiting the ice age.

    Anton, could the ice be insulating the earth from radiative loss of radiogenic heat? Could this cause the earth to warm from within thus eventually melting the ice?

    • @CT-5555-7
      @CT-5555-7 3 года назад

      Interesting idea, but I don’t think that would be enough to melt the ice since space is unbelievably cold. Earth would definitely need a blanket to trap heat from the young, dimmer sun. Plus the Huranion Glaciation ended during the Rhyacian period, which correlates to high volcanic activity, replenishing the atmosphere of its greenhouse gases that the Cyanobacteria ate.

    Have you ever seen the anime called gargantia they talk about Earth star the sun going cold and then they were able to turn it back on somehow and I want to know if that's possible if the star would die somehow and if it was possible to get the star working again no the planet said that it was frozen and that when to star was restarted again that in turn into a water planet?

  • @VangelVe
    @VangelVe 5 лет назад

    The most likely factor has nothing to do with CO2. If you look at the actual literature, you will find out that each time the solar system moves through a galactic arm the earth goes into glaciation. Why? The answer may be cosmic ray flux. As cosmic rays make it into the lower atmosphere cloud cover increases and temperatures drop. Ice keeps growing until cloud cover falls again. Volcanic eruptions do not cause icehouse conditions. The effects are not very long-lasting. For more information, take a look at research by Nir Shaviv.

    • @faybrianhernandez2416
      @faybrianhernandez2416 4 года назад

      Yes, we are doing that now and have been for about 8 -9 thousand years but if keep warming it the Earth will go into the next ice age. Global warming will lead to an ice age, if we warm too much we will melt all the ice on Earth, then the it will rain too much on Canada and Siberia and other places that below 32 degrees F. that will fall as snow and pile up quickly till it becomes another ice age.
