That looks absolutely wonderful! Well done ^-^ Aww I wish we could've gotten a Gamecube version of Dinosaur Planet with the original story and characters. I still love SFA but the original was even bigger in scale and ambition.
This is so good! Filled me with a nostalgic feeling. Like watching an old cartoon with your favorite characters in it. The expressions and movements were excellent! The timing and reactions from the characters were on point! Great work all around!
This is so amazing!! And I love that you have a distinct animation style that's recognisable in the movements! Such an incredible project, well done my dude! 💚
This animation really tickled my fancy. I was just floored at how there was far more animation and facial expressions in the SFA models than in the actual game.
what dinosaur planet would be like in my desired reality if microsoft didn't buy rare and nintendo and rare released it as a launch title for the gamecube in late 2001 early 2002 alongside luigis mansion, pikmin, smash bros melee, final fantasy 10, kingdom hearts, the pre 9/11 builds of metal gear solid 2 and gta 3 and donkey kong racing
Krystal would no longer exist in Smash Bros, neither in Star Fox Assault nor in Command, the mention of Sauria in Star Fox Zero would not exist, and Dinosaur Planet would have a port in Rare Replay on XBOX. Dinosaur Planet would have more sales on Gamecube if it were released on N64
Wow, this is rather impressive on multiple levels. You had to rig these off models- resource right? I don't even think those are more than objs. yet they move rather nicely with accurate skeletons, there's jigglebones properly placed, even on the lightfoots, the way their skin flaps move is rather nice. That krystal model reminds me of the maya rig made by a dev member actually. It even has the fur texture concept they used in SFA with the exterior layers of the model dissolved to create fur detail. That lightfoot should really keeps his hands off krystal's staff smh.
Thank so much! Yep, I had to custom rig those models from the Models Resource myself, although the jiggle bones were just normal bones that I animated manually, dunno how to do jiggles yet XD
@@jolumaya4557 omg that's so manual! Such passion, I love it. Yea I'm so used to source, it doing all those live physics calculations is rather nice lol. I see an unweighted model and I'm just like "no" yet you not only rig it but setup facial bones and eye movement. Good work!
*This is amazing!* It's like I'm watching something from an alternate timeline! Question: Krystal's dialogue, is that the original audio for Dinosaur Planet or something you/someone else made? (If it's another VA, then well done) I'm not sure how much of the audio for the original game still exists.
Thank you! Yes, Krystal's dialogue is sourced right from the Dinosaur Planet ROM. It seems almost all of her dialogue remains except for the game ending (which likely wasn't even finished)
@@av_8596 Haha yeah, most of the game is still there, just unfinished, and inaccessible through normal gameplay (and very glitchy/crash prone) but there's a passionate community doing amazing work fixing it up and squashing bugs. (You can get through 1/3 of the game legitimately with the patches they've made, and using some cheat codes/exploits) There's been huge strides lately! I'd love to make more of these, though I'm focusing on my main animated project so I don't know when that will be.
I love the combination of the old and the new. Old in terms of the Krystal and Kyte designs while updating them to have fur and better texturing, and the new version of the Lightfoot designs and the village. It should also be pointed out that Chris Seavor wo voiced Chief Lightfoot in the original also voiced him in Starfox Adventures. While the Cheifs lines were rewritten, Seavor did voice him again for SFA.
This was really well done and it looks like an actual HD remake, As much as I love Star Fox Adventures I wish Dinosaur planet was finished
This looks so good. This is like an alternate Timeline when Rare made this Game for the Xbox. Well done.
This makes a lot more sense - with Kyte to save Krystal this way - than the final version of Star Fox Adventure.
That looks absolutely wonderful!
Well done ^-^

Holy crap those Krystal and Kyte model looks really good. I only wish there was a place I could get them for SFM or something.
Brings me up to Gamecube quality! Nice job!
This is so good, makes me sad we never got the N64 version, this could've been the HD remake.

An incredible ammount of work and it shows, you really hit the nail on the head with this one

Yo, this is great! Well done!
this is brilliant. Excellent work
continues to weep for what could have been
Absolutely mind blowing!
This is awesome! Well done!
That is very well done.
I love it!

Can this Krystal model be downloaded anywhere?
What program did you use to animate this?
Man it’s beautifully amazing😌😌 I wish this game didn’t become a star fox game

@@jolumaya4557 Almost the entire game?! I have no idea there was THAT much?
Is there enough for, say...making another one of these great videos?

do you by chance have the krystal model available for download? :3 id love to mod her into some games :D
What would happen if you made a fan game using this? Aren't you excited?
Do you think you could do something like this with Star Fox Adventures or are you focusing solely on the Dinosuar Planet universe?
I'd like to focus on Dinosaur Planet if I make more of these.

Furries make the coolest/lamest stuff.
