I just noticed that you have this unit. Same as mine in the 2014. How did the steering controls work? Play/pause Call Answer? Is your u it using Carlin’s 2.0 or something else? Thanks.

does it have a screen for apple maps connected all the time if u plug the phone in usb cable to joying unit or do u have to have hotspot on?

If you are plugged in it will work for apple or android and the screen will stay in the car play or android auto app. Or you can use bluetooth to connect wirelessly. The only time you need hotspot is when you are trying to run things like RUclips or Netflix directly on the Joying unit.

Hey man that bezel that you took off of the digital clock/hazard piece where can I get one like that. Or can I buy the one you took off? I bought an android head unit for my 2010 tacoma but can’t install my digital clock/hazard into new unit without that bezel. I never kept the original radio when I first replaced it so I’m screwed

here is one I found for your truck on ebay. they aren't cheap but they are available. used they are about $115 and new from toyota they are about $350. I'm not selling mine just in case I need it again. #horder
