Just got a 3rd gen Tacoma, and interested in this. Can you confirm if this was just a "plug and play" option? No programming needed of steering wheel controls or anything like that? Would love to consider this option for my truck as well.

Did you loose any of the dash displays light TPS or the Compass?
Also does all the steering wheel controls work?

I did not lose TPS, I still have that, I have no dash lights, and the steering wheel controls work. Only thing I lost in the gauge cluster is the radio is the radio tab that displays what song is playing. I don’t mind that at all.

Nice video. The wifi antenna is needed for wireless CarPlay

That is interesting, because I’m using wireless CarPlay without the antenna plugged in at all.

Dasaita multimedia units have a lot of issues, also their support is insane. I ordered a unit 2 years ago for Nissan - it has a lot of software issues and inconvenient things but the biggest issue is that my unit came with a hardware problem from the factory. Their support at the time suggested me to do a wiring bridge in the motherboard to fix it. I never did the fix, recently I saw that they have a lot of issues similar to mine in their forum and asked if they have a new solution ( some kind of software solution) the response was that I have to buy a new motherboard for 200$ or a new unit for 500$. So I have to live with the problem, or I have to buy a new one with no guarantee that the new one will be ok. At least I did not fall with that suggestion for the hardware fix ( just to mention, the support never told me that the product had a warranty just asked me to mess with the motherboard - which I'm not sure how is not breaking the warranty or maybe that was their idea - to broke it even more myself so they can decline the warranty).
