NigkonuN Highly recommend it. Just now checked on Amazon and you can it it anywhere from $12-$25 depending on what condition and system you want it on. Not a bad deal for 3 MGS games.
+Om Nom You're forgetting that this franchise lasted 28 years, and he can't ever work on it anymore. Furthermore, the franchise probably ends here. This series is one of the most beloved and iconic franchises and has withstood the test of time for a reason. It just really resonated with people. After almost 30 years. Metal Gear is finished. Whether you know it or not, his presence and effect on the video game industry was massive. He helped push the idea that games can be mature and cinematic. Anyone who works in the game industry can attest to this.
I started crying at the end... I broke down specifically when she said how the only thing that made Sean happy was Metal Gear. Going through tough emotional times in my life the only thing that would make me happy was Metal Gear. Rest easy Sean. Thanks Kojima.
I love how Kojima recognizes that gaming has evolved so much over the years and that as a developer, he must adapt to meet the needs of the players. It's a mindset all developers should take, and they should strive to innovate and improve. A prime example is him going through all the work of designing the fox engine just to achieve his vision for this game, rather than sticking with the old engine and making more of the same. It's something I wish COD would do, it's sad that they're still using the quake engine, something initially released in 1996. How does Kojima manage to make the massive open world game 20GB while COD, a small arena shooter needs to 50GB? I don't know the technical side of game development but it's apparent that Kojima is a master of his art. That's not to mention the beautiful optimization for this game on PC and console, gaming has never looked and played so wonderfully.
+brian7becker I don't want to diss Hayter and I know he has done some great work for fans and his fellow employees, but the guy is a huge control freak. He never got along with Kojima because he wanted to direct MGS in his own way.
I remember a guy in /r/metalgearsolid who I guess had cancer and I remember him saying that it'd be nice if MGSV would release somewhere in Q1-Q2, because he thought that he may not make it that long. Was that Sean?
Comfortable I don't know when or where exactly it was, try to search in the subreddit somewhere between November 2014 and February 2015. I remember that it was a comment and not a post.
This video was beautiful, it felt like a wonderful send off with no bitterness on Kojima's part, I wish him all the best in his future endeavours and hope he can live the rest of his life doing exactly what he wants. Something that made this video especially touching was him going to see the now passed on fan's family, it was so powerful when compared to what other people have done similar because most of the others feel like they are doing it for nothing other than publicity. Not Kojima though. He was so respectful and grateful to the family and there was total sincerity the whole visit, wether you like Kojima and His games or not I feel like you should see this because he's not some faceless money grabber, he's a human...like the rest of us. Thank you Kojima.
I feel like when Kojima was looking at those pictures of Sean on the wall and his family, it inspired him to add the photos inside your ACC chopper in the game.

+SaladFingers Sad thing is, we will never see a remake and remaster of the first Metal Gear from the 1980's that Kojima made, that was the first Metal Gear I played from Nintendo and since then I have been fan of Metal Gear Series.
+IGALACTIC No. He's talking about Metal Gear 1, etc. being brought to this age with 3D modeling and all the technology we have today--not just reworking it to allow it to work on a different system.
I find the KONAMI watermark during the entire video and the Konami title card at the end kinda insulting. I mean yeah you're the publisher, but this video wasn't about you. It wasn't even so much about Metal Gear, but about people, creativity, legacy, and compassion. You show the heartfelt part about our fellow Diamond Dog and team member and then display "KONAMI". +ChaseUbito I know, right? I, myself, saluted Kojima near the end of the video. Than that damn dirty red logo appeared and I felt filthy because I was still saluting. Damn dirty bastards.
true here, I've personally written off the series for a long time and never really gave it a fair shake until ironically Ground Zeroes, which I only played because it was free with Plus.
+TimeKeeper25 He explained on an interview at FraggedNation (it was an interview with him and Quinton Flynn) that he was actually doing facial motion capture for a company that gets a variety of actors together and say a bunch of random lines where the company can then make use of that animation in digital mediums such as video games and movies. You were right he did draw them on himself because the woman who was in charge of this told him to do it himself (guessing she thought it was beneath her to do it), even though he himself didn't know how to draw them. Btw really like your YT name!
+Szymon Weinbach I wish. Then they might actually learn from their mistakes if they are forced to deal with the consequences instead of being enabled by spas, gyms, casinos, pachinko machines, mobile games, etc keeping them with tons of cash regardless of how shitty they act in the mainstream gaming market.
Fucked as far as their loyal gaming fans are concerned. Gambling and pachinko on the other hand? Konami has been and will continue to make a killing in that area. Sadly, money talks. It hurts I know :(((( hopefully we'll at least get more great work out of Kojima in other incarnations. Should be interesting to see where he works next
+Deathbrewer Why don't we all just band together and rob all of their casinos and shit? XD but really it's a shame that these scumbags can continue to exist.
+Szymon Weinbach Lol you guys know shit about marketing. They are gonna make big bucks with the pachinkos. It's sad but it's true... it's a big niche in Japan. End of the day, Konami is just another company that has to make money without caring about art.
Bre Fujimoto Moyukh Shabon The man have talent... But i don't like his presence... I mean Troy look like a pretentious person that believe in himself to much... I cant put it in words... Thank god they didn't took his Face for Joel in the Last Of Us... But in the Hands of a Good Directors like in the Last of Us... He sounds nice and Believable. His a Obnoxious Talented Voice Actor... lol
+Itachi2099 He didn't care about the English dub until MGSV TPP so why the hell would he? He also could've visited the Brazilian Portuguese actor for snake, or the french one, et. al.
+Itachi2099 I seriously thought that he was about to visit him in the last minutes of the video. Would have been great. Although what he actually did was great as well.
+Jonmichael Platt Are there even dubs in other languages than english and japanese? Because in German for example, only MGS1 was dubbed into german, all the other games have been released with english audio only here.
+Bawesome Kid I hope he does, he could pick up the game oni! That game is crazy good for it's time and I think Kojima has the ability to make it even more C:
+Bawesome Kid Well, currently the Ghost In The Shell game, 1st Assault is up on steam and they went through the trouble for us english players to enlist the american voice actors from stand alone complex. Perhaps Kojima might at the least get an invite to share a few things to add to the game in it's future evolution. Right now, un officially, Kojima is speaking with Sony and you can rest assured there are a few people extending offers quietly.
If all else fails, I'm sure Sean's spirit and energy will be guiding and pushing Hideo Kojima to keep making more exciting and creative projects in whatever industry he falls in, be it games, movies etc
+ PAXperMortem No its not they pushed him out.. He was gearing to make PT for them lol but they could only think of the money even though MGS V will probably make more than anything they do for awhile.
+Matthew “TheEregos” North Not really, Konami is getting into the pachinko business, they will make 10x more than what they'll ever do as a game dev company, but that's not the point. The point is they killed all their series and disappointed the fans.
***** They will not make more lol also they will be in a business that is highly unstable. Hell almost every Japanese company does them as well as games >.
Hmm... I wonder where Kojima is going right now? - Naughty Dog? - Warner Bros. Interactive Studios? - Capcom? - Bandai-Namco? - EA (OH GOD NO) - Ubisoft? - Square Enix? - Sega? - Rockstar Games? (GTA: VI: A Hideo Kijima Game) xD - 2K Games/Sports? (I disagree about that) - Platinum Games? (To continue the MGR: Revengence) (Hmm... That makes sense, doesn't it?) - Or Kojima Productions?
+Vaas Montenegro Kojima doesn't have to hire anywhere. He will make his own studio and Sony/MS can publish it. Konami still dont know they re hurting themselves with this situation really badly.
+Vaas Montenegro All Kojima has to do is appear on a Kickstarter to have people throw money at him. He doesn't even have to talk about a game, or any plans for a game. He just has to stand there and the money will do the rest.
Kojima what do you mean "sry for taking so long"???? that's how much time a masterpiece needs to be done. Personally i thank you for taking all your time to make one of the best games ever created!!!! :)
Thank you Kojima. You have no clue how much I myself am great full for what you have done for the gaming community. MGS 1 was my first ever game for PS1 and the series is the greatest game franchise out there in my opinion, I personally will miss you and hope you go onto bigger things in the future. Stay strong my friend and hopefully (I doubt) I can tell you in person RIP Sean my brother Kojima should make his own MSF
Thank you Mr Kojima, sir. Your passion and devotion until the very end has been inspiring and your art has created memories that simply can't be forgotten.Best of luck on the next chapter, whatever it may be.
Damn that last bit was so depressing. The guy never got to play this. It's sadder because when you think about it, for every highly anticipated game there's at least one fan out there who won't make it for release.
Your games helped me through two very rough battles with depression, so thank you. Thank you to Kojima and all the developers for giving me something to look forward to during my darkest hours. Thank you.
Kojima and his crew have left behind one of the most legendary series, ever. It's had such incredible influence on how stories are told in games. I'll never forget the emotions and times I've had with playing the series. Thank you so much, Hideo Kojima. Thank you!
I'm playing Ground Zeros and just went on the manual that brought me too this video, went too check on the phone, this brought me to tears. Emotionally. I know it's a presentation but kojima and people around him real and speaking with authenticity of the project. It wasn't just the game sending me emotions, it's the people, the time, the era, the atmosphere, the internet of its height and people around me, saw close and far, amazing people that showed themselves, still do, the arts and people im around, just this one person, didnt know them, but still. 7 years ago it was, hard to believe. I mean this I miss it very much. I might play phantom pain after playing Ground Zeros.
We should dedicate our gameplay sessions of TPP to Sean, it is sad that one of our community's member passed away without playing this masterpiece. Thank you, Kojima San and everyone involved in the development of this game, thank you for all your hard work, I'm enjoying this game so much. I wouldn't call it "the game of the year", I would call it "the game of the decade".
Kojima...You're games gave me happiness and memories i will never forget. From MGS1 too MGSV...Thank you for everything. Heres to you. "This is snake...Can you read me?...Its not over...Not yet"
I thought the ending was going to be Kojima walking into David Hayter's house to apologize and say farewell or something, not the avid metal gear fan. But it was still rather nice of him to do so. Not many would go out of there way to do such a thing
Despite the rocky end, the fact that Kojima and Konami were able to put the turmoil aside and go out of their way to do this for Sean is one of the most heartwarming moments in gaming history.
"I am sorry it took so long..." Sorry? SORRY?! You and your team did amazing and any of your true fans complained about the time it took to create this masterpiece. Amazing things are comming from Kojima.
Thank you Hideo-san, for ALL of the great Metal Gear Solid memories!!! Ive played MGS games ever since i can remember, and they are by far my favorite game series ever. Why? cause they touch sooo many different subjects with its unique storytelling consisting of unforseen plot twists, sci-fi/fantasy mix-ups with RAW reality. A fenomenal and worthy ending to the gamings biggest and best series! Thanks Hideo-san!
+Invision Dearest god! you sir are a mastrermind!! WHat if.. **please be sitting down** what if .. Valve hires Kojima to direct or oversee the development for Half Life 3?!?! *#allaboardtheHYPEtrain*
+Will Sankey they have never confirmed such. Now that I think about it actually, Portal 2 was the last proper Valve game made, and the continued development of TF2. DOTA 2 and CS GO are only published by Valve and were developed by 3rd party studios.
+Invision Well shit...I hope he goes somewhere else who's games I like playing. Sorry everyone, but I found Valve's original games....rather boring. Not trying to be a troll, just stating my opinions.
I was 9 when I first played Metel Gear on Psone and now I'm 30 and I still talk about the Psycho Mantis Boss fight. EPIC series comes to an end makes me tear up a little feels like it's been apart of me my whole life.
In the August 2012, i wanted to kill myself because of a lousy person who makes me feels like a useless and horrible person, and i still remember that my friend (a metal gear fan also), said me in a ironical and good way:"you've not to put end your life, you've still to see and finish MGSV", and now that i saw this vid my tears was impossible to don't make them shedder, thank you Hideo, thank you for give not a game, but your ideas, your spirit, your sense of life, and all rest of yourself!GBY!
+Barney W Yes and not; let's say that i don't have the "will" to die even if i don't feel extremely good for a lot of things!thanks a lot bro for the question! :)
pretty much same here, I played MG and MGS 1 and 2 but didnt like them and didn't play any after that until Ground Zeroes, loved that so I went back to rediscover, and got TPP also.
This video made me cry, I wish I knew about it when the game first game out, but I just found out about it. Kojima, you've created a masterpiece that will live on for generations :)
+Nick Kakyoin I wish they would leave it at that... Do you really think that Konami would just stop making Metal Gear Solid gomes though? This series is a cash-cow for them. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back for the next one.
I know. I really just wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back for the next one in some way, just to put his name on the box again. Fans would be skeptical if there was a new Metal Gear releasing without the Kojima working on it. Of course, for this to happen Konami would have to contact Kojima themselves, which isn't EXTREMELY likely, it just wouldn't surprise me.
First of all my condolences to Seans family , hope someone sees this. I wish the best to you all. As for Kojima , he knows that everyone who follows his work will support him. The gaming industry has shifted from being the company to the person who leads the development and the indie games are to thank Can't wait to see what he does from here on out!!!
Kojima, thank you for the work you have put in over the many years to make each Metal Gear game a special experience - I can't wait to see what you do next in your creative life! God bless : )
What an awesome man. God bless him. And rest in peace, Sean. If only he were there to have seen Mr. Kojima. The joy in his heart could have probably been big enough to kick that cancer to the curb, for all we know!
As great as the series is, let's not ignore that Hideo drove his developers to the ground. He's a typical great achiever who appears to stand out above everyone else, but is merely only doing so by standing on the backs of slave driven people. Hearing how he'd threaten even his highest leads with toilet duty for a week if they didn't completely devoted their lives to the project, working 80 hours a week, etc. I can perfectly imagine why Konami might have reason to break the ties with Kojima. You're not a nice and reasonable guy when you force people to work 80 hours a week. You're going to have conflicts. That said, the game is really great and he's definitely one of the best game designers in the world, who offers a great balance between systemic gameplay and story telling. I'm sure we can expect more from Hideo in the future. He sounds like a guy who can't sit still. I just feel people should know that greatness always comes at a price.
Kojima san, you dont need to apologize. You gave us fans one of the most near perfect franchises in all of gaming. We should be the ones apologizing for being so impatient. As much as i hate to see him say goodbye to basically his baby that he raised, im highly anticipating to see if he would be creating a new franchise (if he decides to do so) Last but far from least. Fuck you Konami. You deserve a special place in gaming hell for letting it end like this. You are now and forever will be worse than EA and that's saying something really loud.
+Darth Sidious Or maybe he played them. What if Death Stranding, made by his company (albeit with backing from Sony) gets better than anything that Konami made? Who’s going to be laughing then? (Also, I find it funny that it’s Darth Sidious, the ultimate fiddle-player, who’s saying this.)
thank you Kojima, best video game franchise ever. i still see myself playing mgs games when im 48 since there is so much beauty in your creations. you are a legend. just wish i got the mgsv ps4 edition lol ... :'(
FYI, the sentence has become a mantra to say that the game was made despite Konami. If you don't know what I'm talking about just check the last news about Konami its future projects and its working conditions.
Thank you Mr. Kojima, and thank you to all staff that have put work into Metal Gear Solid. The Metal Gear Solid series will always have a special place in my heart.
Kojima, Don't be sorry. You worked so hard to please us. I wouldn't care if it took you another year to make it because we know you put all of your passion into every aspect of the game. You are a wonderful person Kojima. You gave us music, inspiration, and memories. What you did for that family was just touching and what you did for us will never be forgotten. I wish I can do more than say, Thank you Hideo Kojima. Thank you for everything you have done -Kevin, a MGS fan.
A moment of silence for our brother who's probably grinding GMP in the big Mother Base in the sky.
+KinglyRed You made me cry AGAIN.
Alba García Tabarés a truly diamond dog

+KinglyRed "I won't scatter your sorrows into the heartless sea"... :c
amen to that
True fan up until the end, so happy that Kojima's team recognized him.
I really need to get my hands on the hd collection of mgs.
NigkonuN Highly recommend it. Just now checked on Amazon and you can it it anywhere from $12-$25 depending on what condition and system you want it on. Not a bad deal for 3 MGS games.
+MrMario2011 my ps3 is dead lol
+NigkonuN I recommend the anniversary edition if u ever get a working PS3 again. Cause it contains a lot more.
+NigkonuN Make sure you buy the one with all the old NES/PS1 games too. There is a version without those.
Thanks for the memories Kojima. We salute you.
mashed hey...
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this, Hideo, and thank you for all the years of enjoyment.
When they started interviewing people that MGS changed their lives, I was thinking,"okay, where is Greg?"
Is Kojima dying? Whats with all this dramatic, sappy shit?
He got fired ffs. Thats it
Manly tears

+Om Nom This is the last game he's directing before leaving (read: "got laid off from") Konami
kojima could literally go on kickstarter and be set on a spiritual successor if he wanted
+Moon Monkey He has to wait until Metal Gear Online comes out first. That's when his contract with Konami ends
+Moon Monkey the last thing kojima would want is to make another metal gear. lol
+Moon Monkey Kojima: Hey so I'm doing a Kickstarter-
*buried in money*
+Michael M.
Kojima would be richer than Konami if he set up a kickstarter.
+Moon Monkey I want zone of the enders
I started crying at the end... I broke down specifically when she said how the only thing that made Sean happy was Metal Gear. Going through tough emotional times in my life the only thing that would make me happy was Metal Gear. Rest easy Sean. Thanks Kojima.

+brian7becker I don't want to diss Hayter and I know he has done some great work for fans and his fellow employees, but the guy is a huge control freak. He never got along with Kojima because he wanted to direct MGS in his own way.
+Varuna Heart that is pure utter conjecture
Don't know why anyone would expect that, Hayter hates his guts for replacing him with Kiefer Sutherland

Beautifully written. Despite all the politics currently going on within Konami, at least they gave rise to this beautiful person.
+TCG If it were all sincere there would be no cameras honestly.
+AvidExpert This is his farewell video, why not record that moment as well?
No, Thank You, Kojima Sama.
+Cescolo Sama? Oh you.. You speak Japanese so good I didn't even notice the English in your sentence.. ;)
kolz4ever1980 i can speak english,ma anche in italiano se vuoi, and watashi wa nihongo wo hanasemasu!

+Ryanium Hey, he isn't dead ;) Sure, this is maybe the end to MGS, which is an absolute shame. But Kojima will continue to create things.
Thank you Kojima. Your legacy will live on.
edwardecl I like it when the red water comes out.
+SaladFingers Sad thing is, we will never see a remake and remaster of the first Metal Gear from the 1980's that Kojima made, that was the first Metal Gear I played from Nintendo and since then I have been fan of Metal Gear Series.

+iWillWakeYouUp I found that a bit off-putting as well. It's as if Konami felt it necessary to remind us that they were the puppet master.
yeah, you're being ridiculous. And with the have they've gotten lately, how dare they make an attempt to reverse some of that hate?
+downphoenix This wasn't an attempt to reverse squat. If the Konami watermark is all over the video, this was NO attempt to do anything other than remind us all who runs the show.
+dadamosky They are the real Patriots man. Gaming has changed. Unfortunately :(

+Marcster George Hope *Nobuo Uematsu* is doing well...
2015 has really been a sad year for gaming :(
Some shit about not being creative enough for a username
But isn't Konami keeping MGS for themselves?
+Marcster George yes, so expect a gambling machine soon.
it was great right up until the red screen came up and said Konami. then my tears instantly dried and I muttered, vengeful - This is your fault.
Lol
+ChaseUbito lol , and u went on a vengfull killing spree in mgsv ?
+ChaseUbito I know, right? I, myself, saluted Kojima near the end of the video. Than that damn dirty red logo appeared and I felt filthy because I was still saluting. Damn dirty bastards.

+RabbitOnKrack Where is David Hayter in this vid? Is he still being a hayter?
+RabbitOnKrack Fucking feels bro.
+RabbitOnKrack same here
true here, I've personally written off the series for a long time and never really gave it a fair shake until ironically Ground Zeroes, which I only played because it was free with Plus.
Sean Gillespie was a real hero.
From behalf of all Diamond Dogs.
- Rest In Peace-
I cried. thanks Kojima.
@siriuslycan - Dont worry :') We all cried after watching this video and yes thank you Kojima
+Animefreak 63 Of course we did.
+siriuslycan the best thing to honor kojima its not buying more konami games
konami is not making any more games.
+G Concep i bought fifa over pes this year for that reason alone.
you want to make me cry? cause that's how you make me cry
+Antonio TF yeah :c
+Antonio TF damn ninjas cutting onions.
He may not have been a part of MGS V, but you could have visited David Hayter. It would have been perfect.
The man drew "motion capture dots" on his face and made a sarcastic remark on twitter, his ass wasn't going to be on any video.
Maybe he was in the game, in the lost Chapter 3...?
+TimeKeeper25 He explained on an interview at FraggedNation (it was an interview with him and Quinton Flynn) that he was actually doing facial motion capture for a company that gets a variety of actors together and say a bunch of random lines where the company can then make use of that animation in digital mediums such as video games and movies.
You were right he did draw them on himself because the woman who was in charge of this told him to do it himself (guessing she thought it was beneath her to do it), even though he himself didn't know how to draw them.
Btw really like your YT name!
Well, without Kojima Konami is fucked.
+Szymon Weinbach rip kuntnami
It sucks Sean wasn't there to see him. Man. I can't even list the feels.
+GamerOfLedends163 it would have been so tear jerking if sean was still alive and was visited by kojima
Hideo Kojima and his crew truely touched our hearts with their work in many ways that can't be fathomed.
Loyalty to the End ;_;
Funny how David Hayter is Nowhere to be seen... But TROY BAKER IS THERE! lol
+gabriel montreuil IKR, troy's everywhere
+gabriel montreuil troy is everywhere so much about 90% of the time I don't even know it's Troy till like years later
Bre Fujimoto Moyukh Shabon
The man have talent... But i don't like his presence... I mean Troy look like a pretentious person that believe in himself to much... I cant put it in words...
Thank god they didn't took his Face for Joel in the Last Of Us... But in the Hands of a Good Directors like in the Last of Us... He sounds nice and Believable.
His a Obnoxious Talented Voice Actor... lol
*****
i know he is a good voice actor... But i hate the guy in Interview... He sounds like he is better than everyone...
*****
Yeah But being Pretentious and Obnoxious doesn't make you look like a good person... Even if talented...
The video is great, but....you know, he could've visisted the guy who voiced the Main Character of the series for 15 years...
I guess not this time since he's not part of the game... Or is he? (Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuun)
+Itachi2099 He didn't care about the English dub until MGSV TPP so why the hell would he? He also could've visited the Brazilian Portuguese actor for snake, or the french one, et. al.
+Jonmichael Platt since when Snake had a official Brazilian Portuguese Voice? game was NEVER dubbed around here.
I can see Kojima making a Ghost in the Shell game. It could have similar gameplay to Metal Gear, if he chooses to make another stealth game
+Bawesome Kid I hope he does, he could pick up the game oni! That game is crazy good for it's time and I think Kojima has the ability to make it even more C:
+Bawesome Kid the best thing to honor kojima its not buying more konami games
+Bawesome Kid Well, currently the Ghost In The Shell game, 1st Assault is up on steam and they went through the trouble for us english players to enlist the american voice actors from stand alone complex. Perhaps Kojima might at the least get an invite to share a few things to add to the game in it's future evolution.
Right now, un officially, Kojima is speaking with Sony and you can rest assured there are a few people extending offers quietly.
Any anime adaptation-except Boku no Pico-can be made better with Kojima making a game of it. (Boku no Pico because...well, that’s irredeemable.)
That was very heartfelt, at the end of the debriefing. Shows the kind of person Kojima-san is and always has been.
If all else fails, I'm sure Sean's spirit and energy will be guiding and pushing Hideo Kojima to keep making more exciting and creative projects in whatever industry he falls in, be it games, movies etc
MGSV is the best game of this year so far, and most likely Konami's last solid game
+PapaDan95 Ha! I see what you did there!
+PapaDan95 its not "konami's" game, its hideo kojima's game
+El Duderino DUDE chill bro
+PapaDan95 Witcher 3 m8 js.
+Vexxed An4l d3sT1Ny FuCk3r Reaper overrated buggy game. I still liked it, just don't think it was the best. opinions though, am I right?
Tears have come too.
and now you want to fire this guy? really Konami REALLY?
If anything it's him wanting to leave...
+鄭皓宇 The guy wanted to leave.
Kojima seems like a great man with the right mind set on things,i hope for the best for him and his team.
These aren't onions!! These are real man tears right here!! I love Kojima san!
+Brian Scalabrine damn raiden chopping some onions and rubbing them in my eyes.....
Hmm... I wonder where Kojima is going right now?
- Naughty Dog?
- Warner Bros. Interactive Studios?
- Capcom?
- Bandai-Namco?
- EA (OH GOD NO)
- Ubisoft?
- Square Enix?
- Sega?
- Rockstar Games? (GTA: VI: A Hideo Kijima Game) xD
- 2K Games/Sports? (I disagree about that)
- Platinum Games? (To continue the MGR: Revengence) (Hmm... That makes sense, doesn't it?)
- Or Kojima Productions?
+Vaas Montenegro it doesnt care where he will be because Kojima Productions will be with him ;-)
+Vaas Montenegro Kojima doesn't have to hire anywhere. He will make his own studio and Sony/MS can publish it. Konami still dont know they re hurting themselves with this situation really badly.
+Cartel893 Economically? I don't think so. The image surely is though
+Vaas Montenegro All Kojima has to do is appear on a Kickstarter to have people throw money at him. He doesn't even have to talk about a game, or any plans for a game. He just has to stand there and the money will do the rest.
+Vaas Montenegro I think the only company that can respect his work would probs be Nintendo.
Kojima what do you mean "sry for taking so long"???? that's how much time a masterpiece needs to be done. Personally i thank you for taking all your time to make one of the best games ever created!!!! :)
Mr. Kojima Thank You, i hope i play more games from you.
Kojima is a legendary video game maker and I hope one day I get to tell him that myself.
Hopefully Kojima can wow us again in his next game, Death Stranding.
Well, his trailers for it, per the norm, are very vague. If he’s keeping to that formula, odds are it’s gonna be good.
Oh he most certainly did.
@@RealHumanBean4U Irony?
Only Metal Gear die hards here. MGSV is a masterpiece like the rest of them. Thank you Kojima & Team
Thank you Kojima. You have no clue how much I myself am great full for what you have done for the gaming community. MGS 1 was my first ever game for PS1 and the series is the greatest game franchise out there in my opinion, I personally will miss you and hope you go onto bigger things in the future. Stay strong my friend and hopefully (I doubt) I can tell you in person
RIP Sean my brother
Kojima should make his own MSF
Thank you Mr Kojima, sir. Your passion and devotion until the very end has been inspiring and your art has created memories that simply can't be forgotten.Best of luck on the next chapter, whatever it may be.
Damn that last bit was so depressing. The guy never got to play this. It's sadder because when you think about it, for every highly anticipated game there's at least one fan out there who won't make it for release.
Your games helped me through two very rough battles with depression, so thank you. Thank you to Kojima and all the developers for giving me something to look forward to during my darkest hours. Thank you.
Me too. Amen
Kojima and his crew have left behind one of the most legendary series, ever. It's had such incredible influence on how stories are told in games. I'll never forget the emotions and times I've had with playing the series. Thank you so much, Hideo Kojima. Thank you!
A shining light, to our brother in arms...Even in death.
Kujimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
I'm proud of calling myself a metal gear and kojima productions(not konami) fan.
Aren't we all?
Michael Biland no I've seen people who say it's Kojimas fault.
Grey Fox What? That has nothing to do with what you were saying.
This guy just made one of the most legendary games ever created and apologizes that it took so long....wow.
The best video of MGS, Thanks for all, I love you Kojima's team, You will stay in my memories for ever !! ❤️
Valeu Kojima. Quando jogar, vai ser por você Sean.
Here's to you Sean and Kojima-san
+Ken Kaneki Kojima and Sean FTFY
Kojima...You're games gave me happiness and memories i will never forget.
From MGS1 too MGSV...Thank you for everything.
Heres to you.
"This is snake...Can you read me?...Its not over...Not yet"
So beautiful just amazing sean is a true fan and deserved that recognition
I thought the ending was going to be Kojima walking into David Hayter's house to apologize and say farewell or something, not the avid metal gear fan. But it was still rather nice of him to do so. Not many would go out of there way to do such a thing
Despite the rocky end, the fact that Kojima and Konami were able to put the turmoil aside and go out of their way to do this for Sean is one of the most heartwarming moments in gaming history.
I think for Smash Bros. NX, Konami should re-include Snake into the roster! It would be one way to redeem itself.
Wish granted :D
Done. It's show time again for Snake in Smash Ultimate!
Arya and now castlevania characters are joining! Two of konami’s greatest franchises!
Kojima to valve confirmed
Valve doesnt make games anymore. Why would he go there.
+Invision Dearest god! you sir are a mastrermind!! WHat if.. **please be sitting down** what if .. Valve hires Kojima to direct or oversee the development for Half Life 3?!?! *#allaboardtheHYPEtrain*
+FullMetal Bat Valve ARE making games you moron... They've confirmed themselves that they're currently working on on Left 4 Dead 3 & HL3.
"My mission is to exceed their expectations" - Hideo Kojima
What else is there to say?
+Andy Zeta i hope you are better now Andy!
+Barney W Yes and not; let's say that i don't have the "will" to die even if i don't feel extremely good for a lot of things!thanks a lot bro for the question! :)
+Andy Zeta life can be really tough sometimes i have been through it also, stay strong bro!
😊👍
Thank youuuuu Mr Kojima
Ps: rest in peace Sean
Thank you Kojima, I grew up on your beautiful creation and I look forward to your future work.
Goddamnit.. I'm having a phantom pain right now, shit, i hate how times have flew so fast...
Thanks Kojima :'/
Kojima is the "Man" that Konami will miss forever.
Thank you Mr Kojima for all your work, MGS V was an absolute masterpiece, shame you weren't able to finish it, but it's still legendary in my opinion
Man, Hideo visiting Sean's family. D: Hideo is such a good person...
I cried. This make's me want to play the series. Where should I start?
+KILLERGAMERGIRL from the beginning i guess but V is chronogicaly second(i think?)
+KILLERGAMERGIRL mgs3, ops, peace walker, then v. this is the story of the first snake
+themuffunman6380 ops isnt very important, I'd avoid that one.
Trust me start with MGS3
Forever the best
pretty much same here, I played MG and MGS 1 and 2 but didnt like them and didn't play any after that until Ground Zeroes, loved that so I went back to rediscover, and got TPP also.
This video made me cry, I wish I knew about it when the game first game out, but I just found out about it. Kojima, you've created a masterpiece that will live on for generations :)
You didn't disappoint Kojima. Hats off to you and #fuckkonami
How touching... Okay, see you at the Metal Gear Solid 6 debriefing.
+slaid12345 Kojima left Konami.
The only thing to do IMO is to remake the first 2 MSX2 Metal Gear games. And that's it.
I'm calling it, metal gear solid remake for iPhone.
dawood rashid That would be horrible. Is it only my opinion or I despise the "smartphone gaming"?
First of all my condolences to Seans family , hope someone sees this. I wish the best to you all.
As for Kojima , he knows that everyone who follows his work will support him. The gaming industry has shifted from being the company to the person who leads the development and the indie games are to thank
Can't wait to see what he does from here on out!!!
That was an unexpected gut punch.
this video breaks my heart every time
Thank you Kojima for making a great series
I know this is only the close of one chapter in your career and I look forward to the future
not an mgs fan but this was great!
used to watch your videos 👍
Why are you here!?
Kojima now: I'M BACK, WASSUP BITCHES?!?!
Kojima, thank you for the work you have put in over the many years to make each Metal Gear game a special experience - I can't wait to see what you do next in your creative life! God bless : )
And so begins the final decline of Konami, never again will they achieve greatness.
I wish he join FromSoftware and make a game with Hidetaka Miyazaki. Daaaaamn that would be legendary
YEEEEES
placebo Think about it. Legendary gameplay buff combined with a legendary story buff. That would be one hell of a game.
@@matthewburnett2286 That probably wouldn't work :(
Kojima, Thank You good sir. I have never met you but your game inspired me so much from my childhood and has made so many memories.
+vincentpol where did you get that Information from?
+vincentpol True that.
vincentpol Standard practice in the video game industry my dude.
Rest in brother Sean. You will be remembered and missed.
Thank You Kojima. You always know how to make me cry.
Kojima san, you dont need to apologize. You gave us fans one of the most near perfect franchises in all of gaming. We should be the ones apologizing for being so impatient.
As much as i hate to see him say goodbye to basically his baby that he raised, im highly anticipating to see if he would be creating a new franchise (if he decides to do so)
Last but far from least.
Fuck you Konami. You deserve a special place in gaming hell for letting it end like this. You are now and forever will be worse than EA and that's saying something really loud.
People need to realize that new CEO of Konami is the one fired him
+Eber Miranda I think he chose to leave, he was finishing his contract.
+Eber Miranda Apparently Konami is horrible to work at anyway.
+Eber Miranda Your contract not getting renewed isn't the same as getting fired.
Look up Konami Working Conditions and you'll see the truth about Konami.
+Darth Sidious
Or maybe he played them.
Here's to you kojima
MGSV a Hideo Kojima game
+Esteban Gallardo no shit
FYI, the sentence has become a mantra to say that the game was made despite Konami. If you don't know what I'm talking about just check the last news about Konami its future projects and its working conditions.
Thank you Mr. Kojima, and thank you to all staff that have put work into Metal Gear Solid.
The Metal Gear Solid series will always have a special place in my heart.
A Hideo Kojima Documental.
KONAMI Metal Gear Development Team?...I guess you mean Kojima Productions.
Thank you for everything you have done
-Kevin, a MGS fan.
David hayter should have been in this video, he touched many people as solid snake and big boss.
