I was also wondering so I looked it up. Apparently a high level UAV drone upgrade allows it to drain your batteries (used by the robot hand, nvg, etc) if you’re within 50m from it. That electric effect is showing the battery draining effect.
What ruined FOBs for me (aside from the pure jankness of Peer to Peer PVP) was the inability of the FOX Engine to handle more than like 15 guards onscreen at once. I've seen some weird shit - guards popping in and out of existence, enemy radio dialogue skipping over itself due to radioing soldiers despawning in favor of a closer, more "relevant" enemy. I've a few old MGSV videos on my channel showcasing this. No previous MGS games ever had this issue, but man, I realllllyyyy wish they delayed the game to fix these sorta things because i'dve been hella into FOB's to this day if things worked the way they're supposed to. But eh, most people who buy the game almost certainly never play deep enough into the game to see these issues pop up. I guess its no wonder, Kojima really frontloaded this game more than anything he's ever made and it shows.
1. It was developed to be playable on ps3 and 360 too, which limited things 2. I'd rather 60fps than a few more visible npcs on screen. Its kinda sad that mgsv was one of the only well-optimized AAA games of the ps4/xbox one generation.
It’s not a Fox engine limitation. Survive is made using Fox engine and can deal with hundreds of zombies. The soldier limit was coded in so that PS3 and 360 don’t fry themselves. They really should have lifted the restriction since servers for 7th gen console are offline.
@@narommalagonmorales2663 I think its because they are seen as op in every game as they don't cause a caution alert on a body shot and if woken up they also don't call for back up meaning you don't even really need to hide there bodies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you’re on console, I can’t guarantee it would work
@@Caedarva what is supposed to happen if i do that? does it bug or something?
@@javierandrade1057 I don’t know what would happen, that’s why I said I can’t guarantee it would work lol.
I don’t imagine it would break the game or anything. You might have to buy Xbox Live or PS Plus though. Maybe.
Again, I haven’t tried it lol
@@Caedarvarom what I recall you don't need ps plus/Xbox pass to play Fob's on console, only need it to be able to join the defense
@@Caedarva I know. I'm more so just impressed people steal from each other when many have infinite resources.
It's like nukes and how we'll never disarm them all on PC because some people click a button and get thousands on command.
How u get that lightning on your character
Its not an affect a player can equip. Its more of a status affect.
The grade 9 UAVs (the black ones hes shooting at) have a specific upgrade where they drain the player's battery. Which means you can't use your electrical support items. Such as the NVG and prosthetic hand, which is why hes sparking.
Hope that cleared it up! Cheers!
So what's the electricity thingy circling your character every few seconds?
UAV drone, they got an EMP that fucks with electronics. Bionic arms and NVGs for example. It’s why the left arm is buzzing
I loved the shopping mall music in the background, It is relaxing
stronger than me by sweely yw
I like the Zara store music in background
It's so goddamn boring
rewatching this the second time, music is just.. just a chef's kiss
What are those electric spark things coming off the suit?

5:17 lmao @ that drone block
Ok lets face it, the game is not broken, this guy is just the ridiculously good at infiltrations.
I never played any of the Metal Gear solid games except 2 which technically dont count, but that music is bumping 🔥

sick tunes my man
I love mgsv! I 100% it again recently on pc i might start getting into the fob game. Nicely done espionage work you did in ur vid
How do you have that electric shock thing around you?
I was also wondering so I looked it up. Apparently a high level UAV drone upgrade allows it to drain your batteries (used by the robot hand, nvg, etc) if you’re within 50m from it. That electric effect is showing the battery draining effect.
@@aardv_ark Ohhhh thanks man
FOB infiltrating in 2023 is alive and well?!?! Damn its good to see!!
*RESPECT!!*

1. It was developed to be playable on ps3 and 360 too, which limited things
2. I'd rather 60fps than a few more visible npcs on screen. Its kinda sad that mgsv was one of the only well-optimized AAA games of the ps4/xbox one generation.
@@hauntedheathen2732 What about Doom Eternal? That was REALLY well optomized as well.
It took me forever to realize the little chime indicates a visible enemy appeared on screen. I hate this limitation too.
It’s not a Fox engine limitation. Survive is made using Fox engine and can deal with hundreds of zombies. The soldier limit was coded in so that PS3 and 360 don’t fry themselves. They really should have lifted the restriction since servers for 7th gen console are offline.
Glad to see this part of the game is still working.
Never got to try it out back when I first played MGSV in 2016
I’m new and only 23% into the game I have no clue wtf any of this is
Damn... That dude dedicated his life in mgsv! I don't have that skill
At 0:21 how did you that thing teleporting from helicopter to base/platform
Only in fob
i love how the music just fits him rolling sideways
Nice choice of music
Since no one else is talking about it, u got those house tunes bumpin shit 🔥
Might go back and replay this game.. really tempting now :P
I noticed that guards sometimes spawn right in front of you when u Fulton literally anything
Quiet wouldnt spawn when i had to carry her to the chopper and well i just deleted my save data
Love the sweely track playing 🔥 wasnt expecting to hear that when i clicked this vid lol
This games optimisation is amazing i am playing this on i5 gt 710 8 gb ram and i am getting 30 stable fps .... this game is just a masterpiece
gt 710? 😅even intel's integrated is better those days... not even talking about Ryzen Vega
Absolutely top choice background beats.
can someone explain to me what is wrong about it?
That was incredible, nothing wrong with the fob’s, pure skill
I was the 911 view, what an honor. Thanks for that boss
I still play the game even now to this day trying to get guns I've never been able to get before I had wifi
adding tranq into mgs was a mistake
I voluntarily stopped using it, the game gets 10x better. Big agree.
You mean the staple of the game? Lmao what a joke you people are. 🤡
Why?
@@narommalagonmorales2663 I think its because they are seen as op in every game as they don't cause a caution alert on a body shot and if woken up they also don't call for back up meaning you don't even really need to hide there bodies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@narommalagonmorales2663 It is so powerful, it makes a lot of your other tools redundant. I just choose to not use it when I play V.
Like the music.

why is there electricity coming off your sneaking suit?
I was thinking the same thing it looks bad ass maybe a Raiden asset thing?
Battery vaporizer. The higher grade UAVs have them. It makes battery operated devices like NVGs and such lose their power.

This was amazing! One question i have is whats the background music called? Also which attachments are you using for your Sniper and AR?
Its a Sweely track. I forget the name. Lobster Theremin is the label.
Quick update: Track is Stronger Than Me. I own the record so it was driving me mad. Had to flip through real quick to find it.

@@MessiahofVatican no problem!
Hi, my attachments are the same for both rifles: laser, grip, grenade launcher (sleep gas), and a scope. I can’t recall exact names, sorry
FOBs were fun to an certain degree for me in MGS V
Damn, the song you used is as groovy as the gameplay. What song is it?
Thanks! The song is “Stronger than Me” by Sweely
This was a CRAZY infiltration kudos to you man
150 hours in FOB missions and I still haven’t used that non-lethal rifle nor that tranq pistol yet, nor used the lethal rifle to take down drones... great job btw, looks like I’ll be improving my strategy
I remember those sparks around me back in 2016. Now the high ranking pfs are pretty much retired guys, at least on ps.
I've been playing since the release, I rarely did the FOB. Seeing this surprises me, I don't have this level lol
I love going back to this game every few years. The barrier is too high for entry into high level multiplayer for my taste. But i love to run the story then do a some of the PVE Fob events in the endgame.

One of the OGs
Omg I can't believe there are people playing MgsV online, imma buy it real quick
Do you play with reflex mode disabled? You’re nuts lol
got me there with the title xd
good job
2:43 subpar mine placements smh lmao
Nice song bro, using that for my next FOB infiltration
I would have traded this for CO-OP.
Maybe it was last gen^2 that held this game back in that regard.
extra points for putting a banger house track as BGM
As a sniper main I felt every miss
What are your main lethal and non-lethal loadouts?
@@CatzlovichCatnipAndCabbages Oh nah I don't play this game anymore it was like 3 years ago so I can't recall, I just like sniper types and I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

Patrollin' and tryna catch me rollin' dirty
i love this game a lot but goddamn there's so many things i hate about it, like having to use resources to deploy was such a silly feature imo. Wish they just kept it the way it was back in PW.
It's hardly an issue. Typically you have more than enough resources to deploy. I think I have a 150 hours and I've never not had more than enough resources to deploy every time.
@@Tony_Cardoza i agree, it was very easily manageable but i found myself keeping away from a lot of the higher ranked weapons since the cost was a bit high in some cases

Love the music selection I always listen to some dance tracks when I do FOBs lol.

Man I love this game
With your reaction time and aim, it's indeed broken.
