Liam Neeson is how everybody wants Harrison Ford to be about Star Wars
Liam is a more serious/smarter dude so he can appreciate scifi even if it's not perfect in every way. Harrison was never the smartest kid on the block, he was casted for his appearance, so he was a snub about scifi, even Blade runner.
Of course Neeson got paid for his appearances on the Clone Wars series and Disney’s Kenobi but would probably do it for free. Most notable acts who never gave a damn about SW are Ford and Alec Guinness. Ford surelly appeared on the new trilogy only because he got very well paid.

@@thesterrave Don't preach religion, we're not interested, not here.
Seriously though. I hate that the lore explanation for why lightsabers look like they were put together from scrap is because “Jedi want to avoid vanity”.
I’m telling you, the Jedi are *way* too religious about warfare. Don’t wear a good amount of body armor because it minorly hinders force-based movement, leaving them usually stuck blocking on the front line deflecting bolts instead of going in wild and getting the enemy’s attention away from their men. And *do not* get me started on those stupid ass bubble domes they wear in the vacuum of space instead of a clone helmet, where they now have to protect the outer edges of the bubble in addition to their previous weak points.
Last thing, sorry, saber variety. Ironically, the *one* area the Jedi let their ego fly in the wind, and it had to be an area against them. Yes, Jedi allow variety, but they only let it go so far (no saber spears for you) and they discourage anything aside from the vanilla standard because “the Jedi want to show the galaxy they don’t need variety” or because “a Jedi shouldn’t focus on war”. “The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the Force. The Force is the blade of the heart. All are intertwined: the crystal, the blade, the Jedi. You are one.” - Luminara Unduli
And yet the simple things can be the biggest things
You're right, it really shouldn't be.
When you see people in charge of an IP disregard & destroy it, it's hard to not be moved when you see someone who was a part of it, that actually cares.
It's like if you saw a group beating a dog and you're trapped behind a fence, crying out for them to stop. They turn to you and tell you you're the one who's bad for wanting them to cease. Then you see a man walk up, and cradle the dog with love, and say that this dog is good and treats it with respect. Well, it's hard not to be moved as it is this sort of thing that can help that dog outlast it's attackers and restore it back to health.

it is sad that we seen qui gon jinn so short just for one movie,i would love to see more from him in the Star Wars franchise if it is played by Liam himself 😉❤
They never do something like this. It is the same thing for Hawkeye from Marvel. Because there are manşy characters played by charismaticly masculine actors. However, they do deserve their own movies indeed since they are more humanly characters so that their stories must be deeper, complex, compelling.. But what donwe get? No Qui Gon and a teenage girl Hawkeye. Those sjw producers will never do something that good.
The fact he still has his saber is freaking amazing
I love this guy, a Jedi, ancient assassin, secret agent and father
A favorite actor of mine
Happy to see Liam is so passionate about the mythology as the fans. That’s cool
