Yep there’s no religion where you have to have brother husbands. That won’t happen bcuz the religion for polygamist marriages is to benefit the man, hiding the sex crazed actions with “god put us on this earth to multiple so we need many children” don’t need multiple wives for that. And even where it does it is NOT called polyamory because that is strictly men married to many women. Not the other way around. Women married to multiple men in this way is polyANDRY. Again polygamy or polyandry is where JUST the man or woman of the house are the ones who marry multiple and date with their spouses being “sisters/brothers/friend” NOT romantic partners. If more than the “head of the house” gets to date around or whatever, then it’s polyamory as there’s not one head of the house nor are gender roles in play what so ever.
@@pillowtalk1925 You're both right and wrong. Polygamy is practiced and widely recognized in 2 main forms: Polygyny and polyandry--They are exact opposites. Only one of these forms (polygyny) is practiced by mormons, for religious reasons related to populating the Earth like you mentioned, but the world obviously doesn't revolve around mormon culture alone. Other beliefs, cultures, and practices exist outside of that sphere. Claiming that "polygyny is the only true form of polygamy while polyandry isn't polygamy at all" is akin to claiming "Christianity is the only true form of religion while Buddhism isn't a religion at all." Sure, you may have some personal biases regarding what you feel should be practiced based on your own beliefs, but that doesn't dictate the correct categorization of these terms.

Thats polyamory. Not polygamy. Polygamy is one man who has multiple romantic relationships with different women. The women do not date each other. Hence the term sister wife. Polyamory allows everyone to date who they want/each other to however they seem fit for their relationships.
This woman "they" are courting, is thinner, younger, more fun and has no kids. This seems like its more about him finding good looking women to bang than another "sister wife".
