      And Hagler bounced him twice , but I loved the way this boxer knocked out Hamsho 👌

      @@lurchamok8137 LOL. Hamsho padded his record against some absolute bums, guys with seriously bad losing records. But he did beat Benitez 6 months after he took a prime Hearns to the limit. Also beat an undefeated Czyz, and other good guys like Alan Minter and Scypion, and Boogalo Watts (who beat Hagler). Scypion lost b/c he pulled a Kermit Cintron and didn't make it back into the ring after getting pushed out of it. Hamsho was ahead on the cards though, and he went toe to toe with Hagler for 11 rounds, then got sparked in 3 in the rematch, but he definitely had something going for him...mainly a lot of toughness. This fight here, he was 20lbs above where he should've been, Rocchigiani was way younger and way bigger and Hamsho was old, fat, and shot to pieces.

      @@joeblough261 Hamsho was a dirty fighter , he didn't know how to box , a well conditioned Benitez would of ate him up , Benitez didn't like to train cuz he didn't think he needed to , Benitez that night looked like he had a hangover ,using too much drugs by this time as well , also want to mention that Hamsho never fought Hearns , but I do know one thing for sure , Marvin Hagler whipped him twice , the first fight he gave Hamsho 50 stitches to his face ,and in the second fight Hagler knocked him out in 3 rounds

      @@joeblough261 boogaloo watts did not win that fight , the judges gave him a gift , in the Philadelphia Spectrum , his own town , the majority of the fans booed because they knew that he didn't beat Hagler , but the next time they met Hagler knocked him out in the second round

    Too much reach for Hamsho to walk through.

    • @jimrauh3584
      @jimrauh3584 2 года назад +2

      Geez, when you lead with your face like Hamsho often did, doesn't take much reach to get tagged.

      And also I loved the referee he didn't go for the dirty tactics of Hamsho , the low life tried to hit the German fighter behind the head twice, not good 😠 ... but eventually in the same round he knocked out Hamsho beautifully 👍👍

      He looked huge!Its funny that Hamsho always looked big for middleweight&Rocchigiani the same at Super middle!

    Hamsho was tough & had tremendous heart, it's a shame he more than offset that by being a dirty figher.

      Hamsho tried to headbutt Hagler at least twice, dirty count.

    • @Falconcat63

      I doubt it. Hamsho was worn goods at this point largely by getting beaten up twice by Hagler. Plus, Rocchigiani, although not an all time great by any means, was a very good, tough boxer.

      He took an 11 round beating from Hagler , and then Hagler beat his ass again in 3 rounds , but much respect to this German fighter cuz he cleaned Hamsho's clock in the first round

      @@hubertploberger985 no bro , it was the Referee he didn't let Hamsho cheat , so Roggigiani pelted his face 👍👍
