That ref totally took Nunn out of his fight. He should've never refereed another fight after that. He constantly wanted Nunn. The German lead with his head the whole fight.
And your group thinks taking shots to the head and body and being out boxed is a victory for your fighter. As long as he doesn't get stopped he's the winner no matter the beating. How many championships have you had since this?

Larry Holmes wife once said that sometimes the powers that be just get tired of a guy being champ. Outside of Toney all Nunn's loses were bs robberies. He wasn't shot. He started getting shafted. That first scorecard was an absolute disgrace and had all these clowns who don't watch these fights calling it a robbery when it was not. Rocchigianni CLEARLY won this fight and it was not even that close. That judge scoring it to Nunn was clearly on the take.
Sir, were there narcotics present while you were watching the fight? RIP to the gentleman but he was a terrible fighter that only got the decision because he was home. Any place else in the world and the bout was a loss for him.

Referee was terrible! He intervened so often and upset the rhythm of the fight. He also seemed to deliberately try to unsettle Nunn.
