Thank you! I used to own a pair of short skis almost 20 ago now but it required the ski boots. I switched to snowboarding and haven't looked back since. I'm taking my daughter to learn how to ski for the first time this season so I wanted to ski with her. Glad I found your video and that I can keep using my snowboard boots.
Got them love them. So much fun…feels like freedom…you are so agile w them. I still love to snowboard. I dislike skiing though because same as you the skis are too long and the boots suck. I def recommend wearing knee pads. It’s fun to drop on your knees glide and hop back on your feet…almost like breakdancing on snow lol.
im torn between the 65cm and the 90cm for my girlfriend who is afraid of traditional skis. The 65cm just looks WAY too short in my opinion. But I could be wrong
i havent tried the 90cm so i cant really tell u. The 65cm are fun and really easy to learn. but perhaps after going a few more times I might want the 90cm? not sure!
I'm going back and forth between 45 and 65cm. I kinda want to ski, so 65 would be great, but i also kinda want to skiskate (i used to inline skate in summers), so thinking about getting 45cm. I just can't decide. I love in Alaska, so either one would work- different kind of fun. Any output? Has anyone tried both. Thank you
I have both, 45cm are really fun on bunny slopes and green slopes(can do more rollerblade turns and moves, and the 65cm can go a little faster and manageable for blue and couple easy black diamonds. Honestly both are fun just depends if you want to go faster then go bigger.
thanks for the video share review...... are these the 90 cm ones ???? after trying these on, do you feel like it would be better to get the longer ones ??? or the 90 cm ones are just perfect ????
I ski on 99cm skimboards. I would like to get shorter ones just not sure if I want to get 65cm or 44cm ski skates. Snow feet makes the 44cm ski skates.
Why did you choose this length? I"m curious cause I know there's a 44cm version from the same company. I'm also an ice hockey player and trying to get your opinion if I purchase either length what you would recommend.
@@DesmondCheng If I already have ski boots that I own for summit ski blades. Would you still recommend the snowboard boot model to me or that I should get the ski boot model?
it depends on u! if u are fine with ski boots, then stick with that, it will save u $$$. But for me personally, i cant go back to wearing ski boots lol@@beckerlegjames
How are these different from regular skis other than the size? I snowboard, I wanna try these but want something that still give me a feeling of ridinflg on a board. Afraid these short boards feel more like ice-skating.
Compared to regular skis, these are much easier to maneuver! these are NOT like riding on a board. It's closer to skiing, but just easier, and not as fast. It is not like ice skating. If you get the really short ones like the 45cm ones, that's a bit more like ice skating
Unfortunately my 65cm binding broke on .y 3rd rum brand new. Snowfeet has no warranty so I will need to buy the parts only from them because you cannot buy them at regular shop. Stability is not great and if there is powder, you cannot use them as they will get stuck
I have to agree. Use these (maybe 90cm) if you’re learning and looking to have fun right away. So much easier that traditional skis.
agreed!

no problem! And yeah being able to use my snowboard boots on these are a game-changer!
I really miss last year. It had so much snow. This year is all rain so far.
yeah this year sucks! but i hope the snowwy winter is just delayed =)
I’ve skied 93cm skiboards, love them. Short skis are fun
yeah i cant wait to go again!

Thank you for posting this.

i dont have both, just the 65cm. i spend most of my time on green/blue runs so i think the 65 is perfect!
Almost $700 is CRAZY.
Was wondering if you had experience skiing before trying these on - or was this the first time skiiing for you?
ive only skiied maybe once or twice before!

these are the 65cm ones! 90cm would be interesting to try.... but i cant tell u if having longer ones will be better unless i try them!
I ski on 99cm skimboards. I would like to get shorter ones just not sure if I want to get 65cm or 44cm ski skates. Snow feet makes the 44cm ski skates.
I learned to “ski” with 90cm and found them to be pretty rough as I progressed. I just recently moved to 110cm and love them.

i didnt want it too small, otherwise it wouldnt be skiing!

@@DesmondCheng Gotcha! I'm thinking of getting the 99 cm. They should feel steady enough right? Not looking to do crazy tricks like on ice-skating 😅
i havent tried the 99cm so cant give much opinion on that!

Just note skiers can be judgmental to you when you ski short skis. Just have fun.
haha totally!
having fun is better than being judgemental
