  • If you've been over on my Flickr you might have seen the bus drawings I've made, and this video is a timelapse of how I make them! Essentially it's the photo being traced over, so it's accurate, but there are a few tricks with Layers etc that you get to see. A part two should follow (there is a likelihood of this part two actually happening) where the plain drawing gets colour added, as for all in one video it would be a bit too long... even this one turned out a little longer than I'd hoped, despite most of it being sped up. A few repetitive bits were skipped too, but all the process is shown and you can see how it all comes together as the video progresses. In real life it takes 2-3 hours to arrive at what you see by the end.
Also, I got 100 subscribers... somehow. I mean, I don't really upload much so I am rather surprised! Now all I have to do is wait to see if it goes up to 101, or down to 99 if somebody unsubbs...
My choice of vehicle for this (maybe) special drawing to feature in this (maybe) special video is Stagecoach (definitely) Specialist liveried Enviro 300 number 27882, FT13 OVN. Scunthorpe depot had it on loan from Hull and then it wound up on the 103 to Lincoln where I took the photo of it, in June 2021.
Music tracks in this video are from www.bensound.com/ and since I last went there they've added more things, so, if you need music for stuff it might be worth a look.
By the way if you feel the need to use a drawing of a white Enviro 300, here's a version with all the generic parts prepared in colour, ready for you to slap a livery on it www.flickr.com...
Yes it's free, no you don't have to ask. Nobody uses them anyway, so I don't know why I bother.
