Thank you for working so slowly and keeping your hands out of the way! Most “tutorials” (for crafts in general, not specifically latch hooking) just speed right through, and you can’t see what they’re doing.
I new to latch hook busy on my first one a ☁️ Trying to get dexterity back into my hands due to illness I can say this is really helping . On a mission to start new crafts I’m trying as well is punch needle but some how I broke my first one lol

Omgoodness you latch hook like I do!! I haven’t latch hooked since I was young and a friend got me a big latch hook rug recently and I thought about doing it and on the instructions it shows wrapping the string around the tool and I thought I was loosing my mind cause it’s harder for me that way. But when I got on the internet to see if things changed I see many doing it the “new” way and was like oh no I don’t like this. (I’m sure it’s not new but new to me lol) So glad to see that it is ok to do it the old way lol.

I wish you would have brought the camera closer to what you were actually doing...!!! Bc it's kind of difficult to really follow with your technique due to how far away your camera placement. I know I am probably very late to comment but i am just now becoming involved with crocheting with the latchooking technique on braiding hair. Plus also interested in making rugs.

this looks very tedious & tiresome to do to finish the whole thing using bits of yarn like that-I guess once you get started & get used to it it gets easier to do to finish a small project.

This is the method I use. Seems everyone else uses the other method, but with my hands this is far easier.

I got one of these kits for Christmas and I couldn’t figure it out even watching videos but I figured it out using my hands it’s just easier for me
