    I work from right to left in columns (not rows) of 10 strands. I prefer to use method 1 as I can incorporate a twist during pull through that tightens the knot and clears the already latched threads. Thanks for this simple demonstration.

    I have always used this method. I just tried the first method, and realized that the yarn sits upside down (compared to this) with that method. Does this give a different look? I can't test this halfway through a project, but I'd love to know

    Although method 2 seems easier, people with bigger hands or less dexterity will benefit from method 1. I've tried both but method one seems better for me.

    Hi! Question - when working with plastic canvas cross stitch do you secure the under aide with anything when you are done? Or just leave all the knots and loose string as is? I made a purse and I'm afraid my daughter will snag the under side when she carries it. Let me know please, thanks!!
