I have one and love it. I have a bad back and need good lumbar support. This chair is perfect on my back. Had it for over a year with no problems. 2 things I would change though: recline further back for napping would be nice. And a one touch full recline and return to upright would be great instead of having to hold the button the whole time. Other than that I love mine. Thanks for the video.
Great video! Thank you for mentioning the power issue out of the box. I appreciate the honest review that includes the good and not-so good (arm rest).
Thank you for this. I had the same problem with power and your review help me uncover the power underneath the chair. Solid chair and good price. Again thanks for the video instructions. You rock!!
Thanks for the video man! I have looked at this chair several times. I am retired and disabled and just looking for somethign that i may even just sleep in when im sick lol. One thing i have been puzzled about when looking at chairs. Even when you get into higher priced chairs. You can get arm storage OR heat/massage but never both.
Been looking at recliners for about a month now, checking reviews and such. This recliner was on my list as a good possibility. I'm glad I found your video it made up my mind. I already had the recliner in my cart saw your video and went ahead and ordered it. Sams needs to send you a commission. Thanks man
I've been looking at dual power reclining loveseats. Couldnt find something supportive or in my taste for less than $1,500. I ordered one of these after seeing it at sams by me. It wasn't plugged in so I took a gamble. Waiting n the gray one to arrive. 2 chairs for under $1000 isn't a bad deal.
Your a great daddy for making the babeh giggle 😃 kudos to you 👏 🙌 thank you for this video aswell I might just get one of these to replace a cheap power recliner with sticky buttons and cheap peeling material I picked up at the local thrift shop
Thanks for this. Most of the theater seats at this price seemed to be complete garbage but when I saw it was a Serta brand I thought this might be a good option... assuming it wasn't just a different crappy one branded as Serta. I couldn't find any videos, like you mentioned, so this was helpful.
I like the size and look of these but how is the Bonded Leather fabric holding up. I read some reviews saying it was peeling after a 11 to 14 months. Like paper thin bits coming off.
@@matthew9826 ; Thanks Matthew for reply, I may try this Chair since I like the chair height and size, which is not readily availble in other Brand models. I have bar stools with Bonded Leather and they lasted 4 yrs before they peeled. It's a price trade off on one hand, but I'd pay more if they had this chair in Faux Leather that reviews say it lasts a few yrs longer.
The back rest comes disassembled, but it's really simple to install. The back rest slides into these 2 brackets on the lower portion, and you gotta plug in a wire that's about it.
Matt, great info. Thanks for sharing. By any chance, do you have pics of the boxes that these came in? I’m trying to figure out if they (boxed or unboxed) would fit thru a 29.5” basement doorway before buying em. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
@Matt - Thanks again for the response. I tried Sam's website, their customer service, as well as some other vendor info that I found thru the comments section but ended up getting several different mixed numbers with regards to the dimensions. Is there anyway that you can do a quick measurement of the actual height of the recliner (without the back rest part) to get an accurate number and let me know? I got 19" from one person and 33" (both without back rest) from another person. Very misleading. Anyhow, I'm trying to see if it would go thru a 29.5" doorway (turned sideways of course)....much thanks!
So glad I found your video! I was thinking of purchasing this recliner for work purposes. I’m in the beauty industry, I’m wondering how far back it reclines if someone is laying in it and you’re seated behind them? Does their head level to your chest?
I'm not home at the moment but if I were to guess that if I was sitting behind the chair with it fully reclined, a head would be a little higher on my chest. When I get time tomorrow, I'll see what I can find out for you.
Is there a video showing how to assemble one of these? I want one for my dad but he doesn’t want to have to spend a lot of time assembling it. Has never had a power recliner before.
So far they are holding up great even with the 40 pound dog constantly jumping on them. No tears so far maybe a few scratches from the dog but nothing bad. My only complaint is the armrest could have been designed better, they definitely went cheap on the hinge. Overall we are happy with them. Also very easy to clean not to many hiding spots, snacks and crumbs just fall on the floor if they drop between the cushion and armrest. Just lean forward and vacuum underneath.
@@matthew9826 Very nice… they are $450 right now may wait to see if they go on sale as i need 4. But beats paying $1k plus per seat either way. Thnx for the reply.
i have this chair in my room and i need to say that what i hate of it is when youre trying to sleep or take a nap the wood frame hits my lower back making it unconfortable for me to take a nap or even sleep, you dont have same issue?
Honestly, I've never tried taking a nap in these but maybe once and I didn't have a bad experience except for the fact that it doesn't lean back far enough.
Can someone with this chair measure the minimum distance to a wall needed from full upright to full recline? Also, how far does the footrest come out in full recline, measured from the front of the armrest section? Thanks!
Are both cup holders supposed to light up? When it was assembled the right one was the only one lighting up. When we took out the holders to check the wiring and such, all of sudden the left one lit up but not the right so it switched. And we still can't get both lit up.
Can't seem to find this answer anywhere, maybe you can advise. I am wondering how far from the wall these must be in order to fully recline. Wanting something that can be close to the wall. Thanks!
Are there separate controls for the footrest and back? Can you sit upright with your feet up? Or does it automatically recline when the footrest goes up?
Sorry for the late reply but I tried measuring it. I don't really have a good wall to measure from but going by eye it looks like it's between 6 and 5 in
