- Come aboard Queen Anne with me to check out the Queen Anne Ocean View cabin that I had as a guest entertainer on board Queen Anne's maiden voyage. This was my ocean view stateroom on board Cunard's newest cruise ship.
I stayed aboard Queen Anne as a guest speaker of Cunard. I paid for my own airfares to get here. I also paid for my own accommodation shoreside. I paid for my own transfers. Cunard has provided me with the opportunity to come on board for the VIP event and also invited me to be speaker on board the ship’s maiden voyage. But they have not paid me to make this video and they have not paid me to be here on board the ship.

Wow ! Very impressive and beautiful cabin , Chris !! I really like the colour scheme. And yes , one can easily see the high quality of the build and features. I will be onboard the Queen Anne in February of 2025 for her Transatlantic Maiden Voyage. Can hardly wait. Chris, do you think your new book about the Queen Anne be available onboard by then ?? I would love to purchase one to add to my collection! I have all your other books and enjoy them immensely! Also are you by chance going to be on that important voyage and lecturing? You should be. After all how often does one have the chance to be on a Cunard Transatlantic maiden voyage? There have been only a dozen or so since 1907 and the Mauritania and Lusitania!!🤔 I would love to meet you in person and have you sign that new book !! Cheers! MikeW.

Love the decor. Something about this ship reminds me of the Disney Wish-staterooms and public spaces. As I am sure you know, Disney ships are very inspired by Cunard, and it’s almost like the pendulum has swung the other way (sans Mickey Mouse).

Thanks for this video Chris! Is it possible to get a video of the ocean view Cabins that have a bathroom with a bath in as well as a shower. Haven’t seen any pics of videos of those bathroom yet. Thank you and hope your maiden voyage is beautiful 😁

Looks like they implemented a lot of guest feedback from her sisters. Hopefully they can implement some into the other Queens. LOVE the interactive TV. About time!
Thank you so much for filming this as we’ve not been able to find any ocean view clips. We will be in an ocean view in August so were intrigued.
Really lovely cabin. its a nice carpet, but very busy. Not so fussed on the lack of wardrobe space, especially being a Cunard ship and the dress code. It’ll be very hard on a longer voyage. The robes take up a lot of room. I have a sea view cabin on deck 10, so I assume it’ll look like this. The interactive tv looks like the one P & O have got. It’s so easy to navigate around.

I was thinking the same thinking the same. All but the colour scheme is on the dark side and tne shower is tiled rather than one piece plastic.

Thank you for providing this, not many people film the oceanviews. What is the difference with the deluxe oceanview? No hanging space for ballgowns in the wardrobe space unless you remove the lower hanging rail I presume? I am due on 24th May for the British festival Cruise and again in Nov for the Canaries so quite excited. This has been helpful.

My guest confirmation for the British Isles cruise on Queen Anne in a club balcony cabin reads that we have a King bed. It's it actually Queen?
Is there a ledge on the window or is it flat?
How is the pillows?
I've been looking at the differences in the cabins, specifically between the balcony and the club balcony. The only difference between the two that I can't really assess is that the club balcony has "specialty" tea and coffee in the room while the balcony has "standard." It's a stupid little thing, but I'm just curious about what the difference is. 🙂

I was on the ship 2 weeks ago. The hanging space in the wardrobe cupboard is ridiculously small and the type of coat hangers used is totally unsuitable. It's better to take your own wire coat hangers. The hanging rails are also too high so diminutive people will hardly be able to reach them. I spoke to many people in various grades of cabin who all said the wardrobes must have been designed by an idiot. A further relative point is that if you take less clothes and intend washing them, then consider where the laundry rooms are. They are in the mid-ship area and up to 2 deck levels above or below where your cabin is. Unless you want to sit in the laundry room for an hour or more it is too far to keep going back to your state room.
pretty reasonable isnt it
